1 Kings 1:29

And the king took an oath and said, 'As the LORD lives. who has redeemed my life from every distress,"

I wait patiently for You Lord and You incline to me hearing my cry. You have brought me up out of a horrible pit and set my feet on a rock. Truly Jesus You are my rock and my salvation, You are my fortress, I shall not be shaken. As Ruth has said so Lord do I say "Entreat me not to leave You or turn back from following after You. For wherever You go, I will go; and where You lodge, I will lodge." Lord, I pray to not concern myself with making oaths but with seeking You first and Your righteousness. I will not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Just as king David celebrated the innumerable times You delivered him from his enemies and from his own sins, I celebrate You this day as well. With a grateful heart You have put a new song in my mouth. Many, O Lord are Your wonderful works, which You alone have done. Your thoughts towards me cannot be recounted for there are more than can be numbered. I cannot conceal Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly but ask for opportunities to share and make Your goodness known to all generations. Lord be magnified in the poor and needy. Lord be glorified throughout the earth. Amen.
