Proverbs 31:16

She considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of Your Spirit that helps us to steward well the resources You have blessed us with. I pray to sow generously into the lives of others. Scattering seeds along my journey through this life. May You guide me to make decisions that are practical and frugal. May I not fail to seek Your will or examine my own motives to avoid disastrous consequences. May I use my earnings to benefit my family and teach them to use common sense and careful thought in making transactions. Father as it is no surprise to You the current state of the economies around the world, so I ask for wisdom and discernment to navigate the financial realm well. You know the sincere desire in my heart for the spreading of the good news so may I be blessed to be a blessing to others. Investing in the lives of Your missionary servants as they cultivate the lost souls around the world. May we reap a great harvest together for Your kingdom and glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

Proverbs 31:13-15

She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships, she brings food from afar. She also rises while it is yet night, And provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants.

What a blessing Father to do things we enjoy. The fortitude to obtain skill and mastery while working diligently towards something and the knowing it is doing unto You is a blessing too. May we be blessed to find fulfillment even in the ordinary tasks of the day. Father, make us keenly aware of the needs of others so we may selflessly serve them. May this bear witness of the sacrificial love of Your precious Son Jesus, bringing Him honor. May we daily rise early with thanksgiving knowing You have blessed us with another day to be fruitful. May we have hearts devoted to the wellbeing of those who dwell among us. May our homes be the center of our ministry as we endeavor to live lives of kindness. May our jesters of love be a source that enables our households to be productive throughout their days as well. Father, strengthen the feeble knees and weak hands of those who are battling chronic illness and yet their hearts desire is to serve as they strive to complete the work You have called them too. Father, lift the heads of those who combat the spirit of heaviness, give them a new song to whistle as they work. May the joy of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be our strength. In His name I pray and give thanks Amen

Proverbs 31:11-12

The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil All the days of her life.

I will greatly rejoice in You, LORD. My soul shall be joyful in my God; for You have clothed me with the garment of salvation, thank You Jesus. You have covered me with the robe of righteousness. May praise be continually on my lips. It is humbling to know just as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall You rejoice over those who have put their trust in You. Just as the woman with the alabaster jar was unashamed to show her love for You as she was fully devoted to You Lord, I desire for my life to imitate the same. May this be seen in the actions of my life so my spouse may have complete confidence and trust. May I never cease in kissing Your feet dear Jesus as in doing so will be a life well lived. Search my heart Lord and see if there is any wicked way in me, so I may quickly turn from it and remain on the narrow road that leads to life. May You remove any wicked ways in me so I may do good and not evil to my beloved. May my family have no lack of gain because I choose to walk in a way that finds me trustworthy and reliable as You have been towards me. May we submit to each other, be kind, be humble and be gracious, so love may continue to grow. Thank You Lord for leading me in the way, the truth and giving me life. Amen.

Proverbs 31:10

Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.

Heavenly Father many have lost the way that leads to life. Your standards are high but attainable by the power of Your Holy Spirit living in us because we believe in Your resurrected Son Jesus. I come before You this day in His precious name asking for all the women in my life and myself included to have an awe reverent fear of You, for this is only the beginning of wisdom. To know You and be set apart is a gift. There are far too many odious women both young and old that fail at the standard You have set. Forgive us Lord for we do not understand how repulsive our pride, actions and lack of manners really are. I pray Lord for You to raise up women to meet Your standard for Your bride to have worth far above rubies. Truth be told there are few on earth that are so precious. Forgive us Lord for being too concerned with our outward appearance and neglecting the virtues of living. The attributes of a virtuous person are unattainable in our own strength for the works of the flesh, whether good or bad are rooted in the fruit of our old sin nature and are repugnant to You Almighty God. I thank You for the desire You place in our hearts to be holy, chaste, gracious and good and the achieving of this manner of life bringing glory to You Lord Jesus. I thank You for making us Your possession and clothing us in Your righteousness. May we daily abide in You and You abide in us, so we may present ourselves as a living sacrifice unto You. Finish Your work in us conforming us into Your image and likeness more and more with each passing day. May others see You in us and know the hope of Your glory. Amen.

2 Timothy 3:6-7

For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captive of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Heavenly and Holy Father, give ear to my words and consider my meditations. Give heed to the voice of my cry. For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor does evil dwell in You. You shall destroy those who speak falsehood, those who are deceitful. But as for me I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy with thanksgiving. I was once gullible and vulnerable to being seduced by those who had a form of godliness but denied Your power. I was one like many who are overwhelmed by guilt from sins and overly eager to hear teachings of any substance. May Your Spirit make us keenly aware of false teachers who seek to take advantage of our desire for religious education. Alert us to the teachers whose instruction cannot yield the knowledge of the truth the gospel or lead to godly living. Jannis and Jambres according to legend were magicians who opposed You and imitated miraculous signs and even today Lord we recognize there are many who creep into households through various means of the internet, protect us, Lord. By the counsel of Your Holy Spirit and the reading and meditating on Your word may we become aware of the things that make us gullible. As we examine our heart and minds reveal any hidden sin of guilt from previous sin so we may confess and be cleansed. Let us not become vulnerable because we give too much heed or value to our feelings remembering that is the way Eve fell in the garden. May we daily put on the helmet of salvation with thanksgiving. Lord may we not be vulnerable because of ignorance of the truth but be faithful Bereans learning daily, receiving with great eagerness as we examine the scriptures. May we Lord by Your Spirit come reason together day by day to fortify and keep each other strong. Thank You Lord for covering Your children in Your protection shepherding us to green pasture. In Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 91:14

The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name."

Sovereign God Almighty, with a song in my heart I joyfully proclaim Your love for all people. You are King over the world. With my whole being I praise Your holy name and may it be acceptable in Your sight. I thank You that when I call upon You the answers come. Thank You for showing me Your salvation. May I continue to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness every night. I put my trust solely in You and You alone. Thank You for placing Your angels to be charge over me and my family keeping us in all our ways. Thank You for bearing us up so we do not dash our foot on a stone. Thank You Father that no evil will befall us nor come near our dwelling place. My heart's desire for me and my loved ones is to dwell in Your secret place and to abide under the shadow of You Almighty. I thank You for delivering us from the snares of the fowler, from perilous pestilence as You graciously cover us in Your feathers. Your truth shall be our shield and buckler, so we are not afraid of terror by night or arrow by day. Thank You for Your love, protection and provisions. May we live a life that glorifies You both now and forever. Amen.

Nahum 1:3

And the LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and in the clouds and are the dust of His feet.

It is a wonderfully gracious thing LORD that you are slow to anger, so patient with the world. But I pray many would come to the knowledge of the truth that Your patience is not a reason to disbelieve in Your final judgement, that will one day come to pass. You are a God of justice and how blessed are those who long for You. It is humbling to think that You long to be gracious to us, waiting on high to have compassion. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before You. You LORD are worthy of all praise. As You well know just like the ancient people who worshiped nature gods, particularly deities associated with storms, clouds and rainfall there are many who still do today. LORD, have mercy and forgive them they know not what they are doing when they worship the creation instead of You the Creator. There are no other gods, but You and we really need You now. Many refuse to obey, and they are not mindful of Your wonders that You do amongst us. They have hardened their necks, and in their rebellion, they appoint leaders to return to their bondage. BUT You are still God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness. I for one want to be found in continual adoration and love for You. May Your praise forever be on my lips. Thank You for saving me. Amen.

Proverbs 27:8

Like a bird that wanders from its nest is a man who wanders from his place.

Heavenly Father as I meditate on Your wisdom as written in Proverbs which is more than a book of "tips and tricks" I have understanding of the knowledge I must have to live a successful life. I thank You that they are not merely old sayings that concerned people who live in a far-off land but are principles to help me and others throughout time. The warning not to stray far from You is clear, as doing so is to lose security and opens us up to new and powerful temptations. I pray Lord for the return of prodigals. Rescue our loved ones from destructive lifestyles, restoring them to their senses. Deliver us from evil. Teach our children by the power of Your Spirit to recognize deceptive ideas and thoughts. Making us all alert to the lies of the enemy. Teach us Lord to resist the devil by faith. Bless our children to have the courage to be honest with themselves and with You. Spirit of God convict us of our hidden sin not allowing us to blame others for the troubles in our lives. We each are responsible for the choice we make so make us aware of any negative consequences so we may choose to remain in the nest of Your love and grace. Lord, we trust You with our most prized possession, those we love. Jesus be glorified in and through our lives. Bless us this day and grant us our daily bread. Thank You, Amen.

Genesis 32:9

Then Jacob said, "O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Issac, the LORD who said to me 'Return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you."

Truly Jesus I am gratefully grafted into the olive tree to be a partaker of the root and its fatness for I was once a wild olive. I do not boast being a branch for You are the root that supports me. I thank You for supernaturally connecting me to Your family. You are not a remote Father but a good and gracious and very present One in my life. And as many earthly children say to their parents "You said..." I come to You saying You said I would see Your goodness, that Your mercies are new every day and great is Your faithfulness, You are not a man that You should lie. So, I remind You Lord that You have said by Your stripes I am healed, thank You. You have said Your grace is sufficient for me and Your strength is made perfect in weakness, thank You. I look to You today to help me overcome this infirmity and continue on to be productive in the advancement of Your kingdom. I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from You my Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Bless You Lord and may praises be continually on my lips. Amen.

Psalm 68:6

God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

I sing to You God, sing praise to Your name. I extol You Lord acknowledging Your greatness, the One who rides on the clouds. By Your name YAH, I rejoice before You. Blessed are You Lord, who daily loads me with benefits. You are the God of my salvation! But You O' Lord are not limited to the clouds and storms, You meet the needs of the helpless. You are the holy habitation and dispense justice. Thank You for the gift of loneliness that drives me into a deeper relationship with You and others, enlarging my heart to love. Without this gift I would not have married or engage in friendships or endure the numerous problems that are a natural part of intimacy. Thank You Lord for using loneliness to cause me to appreciate the beauty of others in a new way. May the little lonely that I feel be the help I need Lord to realize my own company can be very worthwhile. As being content is a crucial lesson for my identity in You. As I consider the forms of loneliness such as the felt isolation of not being understood, or not having someone "with" me as I walk through suffering, like Job who needed empathy and understanding. I believe Jesus, You felt it even more as You set Your face like a flint and journeyed to the cross. You Lord Jesus were familiar with the bitter taste of loneliness in suffering, I look to You for comfort. You Lord Jesus were well acquainted with the pain of rejection. Your example points to the fact that I need to arm myself with the knowledge that when I pick up my cross and follow You, I am to become very acquainted with the deep and existential forms of loneliness You experienced. But I rejoice because in You there is the fullness of joy and my heart swells with gratitude. I thank You Jesus for never leaving nor forsaking me. May You receive all the glory in every season of my life. Amen.

2 Peter 1:5-7

But also, for this reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

Heavenly and Holy Father, by Your Holy Spirit living in me may I not grow weary while doing good, for in due season I will reap, if I do not lose heart. May I make the best of every opportunity to do good to all especially to those in the household of faith. I trust Father that You who began a good work in me will see it to completion. I thank You for your numerous offers of divine provisions found in Your holy word. Promises that offer me the glory and virtues of Your precious Son Jesus as a basis for my growing participation in His divine nature. You have promised that You would enable me to become increasingly more Christlike as I desire to leave my old self behind and become a new creation. May I not be conformed to this world but transform me Father by the renewing of my mind, so that I may test and discern what Your good and perfect will is as I travel the road of life. May I love the brethren well with sincere kindness that You have shown me. May all I do and say bring glory and honor to Your great name, both now and forever. Amen.

2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

Heavenly Father, You are so generous and kind. Never sleeping or slumbering like the false gods of the world. How I delight myself in awe wonder of You. I pray Lord to spend my days in loyalty and devotion to You. It is awesome to see Your strength in the lives of those I love and in my own weakness and frailties. My ways are before Your eyes, and You ponder my path. Your eyes are in every place keeping watch over on the evil and the good. This truth is chilling to those who do evil or at least it should be to bring them to repentance.  And is such a comfort to those of us who are submitted to You. O, LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in the day of affliction show Yourself strong on my behalf as You lovingly answer my long-prayed prayers. Great is Your faithfulness which makes me forever grateful. You are the great and mighty God whose name is Lord of hosts. You are great in counsel and mighty in work. I thank You that You open to all the ways of the sons of men to give everyone according to his ways according to the fruit of his doing. I love You Lord, Amen.

Luke 23:28

But Jesus, turning to them said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for Your children.

Heavenly Father hear the cries of the mothers for their children. Be merciful and gracious and save those we love. There are days when our eyes are heavy with tears, and the burdens too great to bear. Far too many of our youth are living in captivity and unaware of the stronghold that grip them. Some Lord as You know are so far away from Your love, being seduced by the things of the world. While others are fighting for their lives battling sickness, disease and disabilities that are relentless, and the mothers weep in their helplessness. Father many of my sisters are worn and weary as they daily battle for the lives of the young and old for a mother's heart does not change for their child no matter the age. We cry out for those who are confused, depressed, and anxious to have clarity and peace. We cry out for those who have deceived themselves with various vices, such as gambling, pornography, sexual immorality, drugs and drinks to be of sober mind and pure hearts. We pray Lord for our loved ones who are fighting the good fight of faith even at a young age to remain steadfast and endure till the end. We lift to You our children who have been mocked, abused, and outcasted to know the treasure that they are and Your great love for them. We pray for those You have appointed to offices in towns, city/states and nations to lead well, to seek You first, to do what is true and just and not for personal gain or notoriety. Father comfort Your daughters today, make Your face to shine upon them. Lift their heads and remind them of Your Sons Jesus finished work to the cross, the pouring out of Your mercy and grace. Have You not said if we have faith to believe we will see Your goodness in the land of the living. Give grace to Your children this day to continue to rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation and steadfast in prayer. Do miracles today, Lord. We need You. Amen.

1 Peter 4:8

And above all things have a fervent love for one another for love will cover a multitude of sins.

Heavenly Father, I have cried out for You at various times to hear a just cause, asking You to attend to my cry. I have asked at other times for You to give ear to my prayers which was not from deceitful lips. I have prayed many times for vindication in Your presence. My heart has been tested and retested through the trials and adversities of life. You have kept me away from the paths of the destroyer. You have upheld me and not allowed me to slip. Though at times my sorrow has multiplied, You have comforted me. You are my Lord and God who has preserved me. You have showed me Your lovingkindness and tender mercies faithfully and consistently. Your mercies are new every day. You have shown me a fervent love and covered a multitude of my sins. By this we know love, because You Jesus laid down Your life for us. I am forever grateful. So, I also ought to lay down my life for the lives of the brethren, help me Lord to do just that. I pray Lord to love You with all my heart, mind, soul and strength and my neighbor as myself. Jesus, You are the center of my life may You be glorified and magnified in all I do and speak. May I with ease and generosity have a warm and enthusiastic love for the brethren that encourages them to continue to fight the good fight so we may see Your face in righteousness and be satisfied when we awake in Your likeness. Amen.
