Luke 7:35

"But wisdom is justified by all her children."

Dear Lord,
May my lips utter pure knowledge, and may my words come from an upright heart. Almighty God, You give me life. Set Your words in order before me, and may I be Your spokesmen. Many Lord have said they are pure, without transgression, thinking they are innocent, that there is no iniquity to be found in them. I too have often thought this very thing. Forgive me. Let not our enemies that are in the form of pride, selfishness, and un-forgiveness triumph over us. You Lord have given a heritage to all those who fear Your name, Jesus. You have promised; blessed are those who keep Your ways, may we be wise Lord and not disdain it. You have promised Jesus who ever finds You, finds life and obtains favor from You Lord. Those who sin against You wrongs their own souls, for those who hate You love death. Jesus, who is wise? Let them understand these things. Who is prudent? Let them know them. Your ways Lord are right, and the righteous walk in them. But transgressors stumble in them. Lord let me count it all joy when I fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of my faith produces patience, and when patience has its perfect work, I am perfected and complete, lacking nothing. Father, I pray for anyone lacking wisdom, may they only just ask You, because You give liberally and without reproach. Let us asking in faith, without doubting. You have taught us, those who doubt are like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Those who are Your elect, holy and beloved shall put on tender mercies, kindness, meekness and long suffering so we may bear with one another, forgiving one another, even as You Jesus Christ have forgiving us. Above all these things Lord, may we put on love, which is the bond of perfection. May Your peace rule in our hearts to which we are called to one body and be thankful. May wisdom be justified by all Your children. Just as if we have never sinned. Lord Jesus may all glory and honor be Yours forever and ever. Amen.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him all ye heavenly hosts,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Let us rejoice and be glad for this is the day the Lord has made. Dear Jesus I have so much to be thankful for, my cup runneth over! I have peace because You are in control of all things. I rejoice because You have so generously giving me a loving family, dear sweet friends, an incredible church family, Bible study companions that overflow with the gifts of Your Spirit. Love, peace and joy abound in those all around me. Kindness and gentleness are a soothing touch, while faithfulness and long-suffering pour out in generous portions. And all in all You have granted Your precious children self-control. Jesus thank You for victory in trails, grace when we fall and Your mercy that restores us when we stray off the narrow path. Oh, how Your kindness brings us to repentance. Your love a sweet reward. Father, I pray for those who mumble and grumble, murmurer and complain wipe the haze from their eyes, heal their broken hearts, and may they feast on the deliciousness of Your Word. Father, I pray for all those who mourn this day may Your Spirit comfort them restoring them to Your perfect peace. Father, I pray for those who have waited and waited for prayers to be answered may they find rest in You and be anxious for nothing, for You God are good. Lord for all those who are separated by miles, whether the physical or emotional draw them closer to You our refuge. Restore broken families, heart and battered souls may they have a joyful new song to sing that gives You thanks and praise, for You are the only One worthy. Jesus I love You with all my heart, mind, soul and strength. Thank You! Amen.

Psalm 101:2

I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Dear Heavenly Father, my heart rejoices that Your eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, and we may dwell with You. In these times where trouble is all around, conflict, unrest and cruelty abound, I rest knowing You hear the prayers of Your children and our cry comes to You. We hate what You hate Lord. A perverse heart, one who secretly slanders his neighbor, a haughty look and proud heart. You will not no wickedness, for You are Holy. Let us not as Your children be unwise, but wise and behave in the perfect way, honoring You above all. You are a just God, who is merciful. Grant us an intense determination, not just a passing desire to walk in Your creation, that is our earthly home with a perfect heart. Let this example be a witness that bring a transformation in those who no not what they do. May the hearts of the evildoer come to repentance Lord, for You have warned if they do not seek forgiveness and put their hope and trust in You Jesus, they will be cut off from Your city. Because he who works deceit and evil will not dwell in Your house. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, so sinners will turn back to You. Open my lips Lord, and my mouth will declare Your praise. Jesus,be glorified in and through Your precious sons and daughters. May we reveal You, the Light of the world and the darkness will be no more. I love Your Lord Jesus and long for the day that all will see Your face. Amen.

John 16:33

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Blessed Savior, My Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that I may live in You and overcome the temptation and struggles of this world. I do not have to bow down to a wicked task master but only lift my head to see Your Risen glory! No striving for it has ceased. Just simply abiding in You. Holding fast to Your name Jesus and not denying my faith. Today as in everyday I stand on Your promise "whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever is born of God overcomes the world. I believe, I believe, I believe and thank You for opening my eyes to the truth. Thank You for Your Spirit that has testified in accord with the water and the blood. Thank You for teaching me Lord that obeying You is a pleasure. I pray Father, for those who have yet to see and believe. Open their eyes, unstop their ears and circumcise their hearts. Father, forgive them for their unbelief. Claim them for Your kingdom. By the power of Your Spirit set them free from captivity. For whom Your Son sets free is free indeed. Thank Your Lord for hearing my plea. You have promised and grant all who trust in You have this confidence, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. It is not Your desire that any should perish but that all may come to You. Lord, I pray that all knees will bow and tongue confess Jesus is Lord before it is to late. Jesus, thank You in advance for the salvation of all my unsaved loved ones. May their be rejoicing in heaven at these sinners coming home. In Your mighty name, the name above all names, Jesus. Amen.

1 John 3:1

Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

Oh, Heavenly Father, what manner of love You have bestowed on us, even on the night that Jesus was betrayed, He loved. Recalling the time in my own life when I betrayed and denied You precious and beautiful Son, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the tremendous sacrifice He gave so I may be forgiven. I like John stand amazed of Your love. How deep, how wide, long and high it is that we should know it. Jesus there is no one in this world, including me who has open and out stretched arms to embrace even those who have disobeyed. But You Lord have nailed Yours to the the cross for sinners like me. I pray to be more willing to love the unlovable as You have shown great mercy and grace to me. Oh, how You love the weak and the strong including us in Your treasured family. How stark a contrast is Your love, for it is not of the world that only loves those who love them, but You love even those who do not love You. I pray Father, that no one deceives the little children, but may they practice righteousness. Your word says whoever is born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in them. Lord let truth abide in Your children who have heard and believe in You the risen King. Thank You for the anointing from the Holy One that we may know all things and discern the times. Help us to bear witness of the truth, not cowering in the corner. Father I pray for all those who are grieving over the lose of loved ones who have been stolen away by the evil one. May they run to You Jesus and find comfort in Your loving embrace. Father, grant wisdom, strength and power to those who defend the weak. Lead us Holy Spirit to conquer every form of wickedness. Father, we need You. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus I pray and give thanks, Amen.

Ecclesiastes 5:5

It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfill it.
Dear Heavenly Father,
How you have taught us that one small act of obedience is more pleasing to you than any grandiose promise that is never kept. And yet we your children vow to be better spouses, parents and children. We vow to work harder and do whats right, we pledge to quit the habits that are destroying our lives. And yet we fail time and time again. That which was voluntarily spoken from our lips which we promised to keep we have reneged. Although our hearts intended to show love and commitment to You our great God and King and to those in our lives, all the while thinking it would develop godliness in us, it has not. Oh, Father the freeing words Your precious and wise Son spoke "Let your yes be a yes and your no be a no". He warned us, for whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Father I pray by the power of Your Holy Spirit living within Your sons and daughters we would not let our mouths cause our flesh to sin for in the multitude of dreams and many words there is also vanity. You Lord take no pleasure in those who do all the right things for all the wrong reasons. I pray Lord Jesus for restrained lips and not to be rash with my mouth, let my words be few and well spoken. Let us heed the warning; a fool's voice is known by his many words. Lord Jesus forgive us as you have forgiven those who have gone before us. Like Peter who vowed to never deny You yet in his human frailty did so three times. Oh Lord, may we walk humble with You, listening closely and following in obedience doing the things that You desire for us to do. Ah, to know wisdom and instruction, to perceive Your holy Word with understanding. The fear of You Lord is the beginning of of knowledge, but it is the fool who does not stand in awe and reverence of You. Father I pray for Your church that it shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water bring forth its fruit in its season, who leaf will not wither and what ever it does will prosper. Rising up to let our yes be a yes and our no be a no. Father by Your Spirit keep us firm, not making vows, plans, promises we can not or should not keep. Jesus may our love and devotion be pure in simplicity, humble in service and peaceable in every offering. Thank You Lord for chastening those whom You so dearly love. In Your precious and beautiful name Jesus I pray, Amen.
