2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

Heavenly Father, You are so generous and kind. Never sleeping or slumbering like the false gods of the world. How I delight myself in awe wonder of You. I pray Lord to spend my days in loyalty and devotion to You. It is awesome to see Your strength in the lives of those I love and in my own weakness and frailties. My ways are before Your eyes, and You ponder my path. Your eyes are in every place keeping watch over on the evil and the good. This truth is chilling to those who do evil or at least it should be to bring them to repentance.  And is such a comfort to those of us who are submitted to You. O, LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in the day of affliction show Yourself strong on my behalf as You lovingly answer my long-prayed prayers. Great is Your faithfulness which makes me forever grateful. You are the great and mighty God whose name is Lord of hosts. You are great in counsel and mighty in work. I thank You that You open to all the ways of the sons of men to give everyone according to his ways according to the fruit of his doing. I love You Lord, Amen.

Luke 23:28

But Jesus, turning to them said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for Your children.

Heavenly Father hear the cries of the mothers for their children. Be merciful and gracious and save those we love. There are days when our eyes are heavy with tears, and the burdens too great to bear. Far too many of our youth are living in captivity and unaware of the stronghold that grip them. Some Lord as You know are so far away from Your love, being seduced by the things of the world. While others are fighting for their lives battling sickness, disease and disabilities that are relentless, and the mothers weep in their helplessness. Father many of my sisters are worn and weary as they daily battle for the lives of the young and old for a mother's heart does not change for their child no matter the age. We cry out for those who are confused, depressed, and anxious to have clarity and peace. We cry out for those who have deceived themselves with various vices, such as gambling, pornography, sexual immorality, drugs and drinks to be of sober mind and pure hearts. We pray Lord for our loved ones who are fighting the good fight of faith even at a young age to remain steadfast and endure till the end. We lift to You our children who have been mocked, abused, and outcasted to know the treasure that they are and Your great love for them. We pray for those You have appointed to offices in towns, city/states and nations to lead well, to seek You first, to do what is true and just and not for personal gain or notoriety. Father comfort Your daughters today, make Your face to shine upon them. Lift their heads and remind them of Your Sons Jesus finished work to the cross, the pouring out of Your mercy and grace. Have You not said if we have faith to believe we will see Your goodness in the land of the living. Give grace to Your children this day to continue to rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation and steadfast in prayer. Do miracles today, Lord. We need You. Amen.

1 Peter 4:8

And above all things have a fervent love for one another for love will cover a multitude of sins.

Heavenly Father, I have cried out for You at various times to hear a just cause, asking You to attend to my cry. I have asked at other times for You to give ear to my prayers which was not from deceitful lips. I have prayed many times for vindication in Your presence. My heart has been tested and retested through the trials and adversities of life. You have kept me away from the paths of the destroyer. You have upheld me and not allowed me to slip. Though at times my sorrow has multiplied, You have comforted me. You are my Lord and God who has preserved me. You have showed me Your lovingkindness and tender mercies faithfully and consistently. Your mercies are new every day. You have shown me a fervent love and covered a multitude of my sins. By this we know love, because You Jesus laid down Your life for us. I am forever grateful. So, I also ought to lay down my life for the lives of the brethren, help me Lord to do just that. I pray Lord to love You with all my heart, mind, soul and strength and my neighbor as myself. Jesus, You are the center of my life may You be glorified and magnified in all I do and speak. May I with ease and generosity have a warm and enthusiastic love for the brethren that encourages them to continue to fight the good fight so we may see Your face in righteousness and be satisfied when we awake in Your likeness. Amen.

1 Peter 1:17

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;

I thank You Lord for redeeming me by Your precious blood. You Lord Jesus are the spotless Lamb without blemish, none can take Your place. Try though we may to use corruptible things, like gold and silver or aimless conduct we have received by tradition to cleanse ourselves of unrighteousness it is in the turning and receiving by faith Your mercy and grace we are brought into new life. Therefore, may we this day gird up the loins of our mind, be sober and rest our hope fully upon Your grace. May we be as obedient children, not conforming ourselves to our former lust as in our ignorance. May the use of various vices we use to self soothe, comfort or avoid painful situations or heartache be put away forever. May we not be ignorant of the schemes of the enemy who desire to trip us up and keep us from victory in You. May our heart desire to be holy as You are holy be fulfilled by Your Holy Spirit as we surrender all. May we bow in humble adoration and separate ourselves from sin to live a life that glorifies You. May thanksgiving and praise to You our great God and King be the remedy for what ails us. Jesus be lifted high and magnified in and through us. May Your church arise. Amen.

Judges 16:28

Then Samson called to the LORD and said, "O Lord God, please remember me and please strengthen me only this once, O God, that I may be avenged on the Philistines for my two eyes."

Dearest Father, I come to You today in humility and with a seeking heart for understanding. O Lord, You know me and visit me. Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words become joy to me, they are a delight to my heart. Father, I do not desire to sit in the company of revelers, those with outbursts of anger or those who slander but more importantly I do not desire to be one of them myself but ask those things in me to be crucified. Samson asked for You to restore his strength, but his motive was vengeance. He believed with his whole heart You would help him. But was he a paragon of virtue? Father, I confess in this day of darkness and turmoil, wickedness, lawlessness and hatred it is so easy to be ensnared by anger that can far too quickly turn to rage. Protect my heart of compassion to maintain meekness. Protect my brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing horrific injustices, being pressed on all sides. Keep them hidden in the secret place and may evil pass over them as they are covered in the blood of Christ. May we remember Your promise we are Your dearly beloved, not to avenge ourselves but rather give place unto wrath for vengeance is Yours and You will repay. You are the righteous judge. Father, I pray for those who are in places of war to remain steadfast looking up for their redemption draws nigh. Keep Your children in Your perfect peace and comfort them supernaturally in this hour. Lord, we desperately need You now. Maranatha.

Matthew 4:16

The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.

Praise to You Lord who created the heavens and stretched them out. Praise to You Lord who spread forth the earth and that which come from it. Bless You Lord who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it. You the Lord have called us to righteousness. Dear Jesus, You were given as a covenant to the people, may all glory and honor be given You now and always. You are the Lord and Jesus is Your name. Your glory will not be given to another, nor praise to carved images. We behold the former things have come to pass and You have declared a new thing. We will sing to You Lord a new song. Praises from the end of the earth. Jesus may Your words prick the hearts of those in darkness "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Lord, I pray for those who are casting their nets in the wrong direction, living in ways that lead to death, may they leave their old ways behind and "Follow You." It is the most worthwhile journey to take with You holding our hands, leading and guiding us along the way, in the light of Your grace. The darkness looms over the hearts of many but You Lord Jesus shine bright piercing the dark and illuminate the heart. You never ceasing but ever increasing in brilliance and radiance. Thank You Jesus for Your light that dawns in those we love who are sitting in the shadow of death. Your praise forever on our lips. You are the LIGHT of the world. Amen.

1 Corinthians 16:13

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

You Lord Jesus are our fortress in adversity. In You, O Lord, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness. Bow down Your ear to me and answer my prayers for deliverance of the world from evil. You are my rock and refuge, a fortress of defense to save us. Lead us and guide us for You are our strength and into Your hands we commit our spirits. May You redeem us, O Lord God of truth. There are so many lies and much hate swirling around these days Father please pour out Your Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin and bring a great revival to the nations. May all heart's desire Your perfect peace and humbly submit to Your ways. Let all that we do be done in love. I have hated those who regard useless idols and put my trust in You Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy for You have known my soul in adversities and keep me from the hands of the enemy. Have mercy Lord for those in trouble, whose eyes wastes away with grief. Strengthen and protect those who are living in fear because of hatred that surrounds them. Uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Deliver Your children from the hand of the enemy, those who persecute Your chosen ones. May the lying lips be silenced, which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. How great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You. In the presence of the sons of men You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence, from the plots of men. Thank You Lord that You will keep them secretly in a pavilion. Blessed be the LORD, for You have and continue to show us marvelous kindness in hearing our supplications. Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all who hope in You Lord. Amen.

1 Corinthians 5:6

Your glory is not good. Do you not know a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

Just as Jewish people are required to sweep all the leaven from their homes for the Passover, I desire to be swept clean of any hidden sin that may be having influence over me. I thank You Father for giving us Your Son and leaving Your Spirit here until the work on earth is done. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us, and my desire is to praise Him forever from a pure heart. May I not live with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. I desire not to contaminate my relationship with You dear Lord. I confess although anger rises up in me at times, I cling to You to hold me steady and restrain my tongue. May You grant me the gift of discernment as not to violate Your commands. I do not desire to oppose You Father or Your will but surrender to Your sovereignty. Jesus came as light to the world, so whoever believes in Him should not abide in darkness. I believe! You Lord Jesus took the bread and broke it saying this is My body take and eat. You also took the cup and said this is My blood, the blood of the new covenant that was shed for us, take and drink. Do this in remembrance of Me. I remember and celebrate You Lord. Thank You! May all glory and honor be given to Your great name Jesus, Amen.

Act 3:5

So, he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

Dear heavenly Father, I come to You in the matchless name of Jesus seeking forgiveness for giving my attention to things of the world hoping to receive something. When I am not feeling well, I often don't rest in Your arms, far too concerned with responsibilities and commitments to slow down. Your Holy Spirit has giving me at various times the strength to the portions of my body that were in need. I believe You are the same today as yesterday so I seek You Lord for a healing touch. Often what I have expected or thought I needed You have giving me something far greater, thank You. I pray today Lord for those who stand at the Beautiful gate expecting to receive something, may they be blessed with more than they could ever have imagined. I pray Lord for repentance to sweep the land and many be converted, their sins being blotted out and the time of refreshing has come. Restore those who have strayed to the joy of salvation. Hear the widows cry and comfort her. Thank You for being Father to the fatherless, blessing the orphans with brothers and sisters in Christ. Provide for the poor by opening up the windows of the hearts of those with means to provide for those in need. Pour out Your peace where there is raging conflict as only You can do. May Jesus be glorified today. May praise and adoration be a sweet-smelling aroma that is pleasing to You both now and always, Amen.

1 Thessalonians 2:19

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

You Lord God are able to keep us from stumbling and present us faultless before Your glorious presence with exceeding joy. You are our God and Savior who alone is wise, majestic having all power and dominion both now and forever. You dear Jesus are worthy of all our adoration. We praise You for You alone are the One who keeps us from being deceived. May Your sanctuary be in the center of our lives as You sanctify and keep charge over us. We thank You for guarding us in this life, despite all the dangers and pitfalls that the enemy may put in our way. Divination may be on the lips, the heart may be proud, but for those whose ways please You Lord, You make even our enemies at peace with us. Your mercy and truth provide atonement for our iniquities and by fear of You Lord we depart from evil. How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. May we seek You this day with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength and Your kingdom and all things will be added unto us. When we boast let us boast in You Lord Jesus. May praise continually be on our lips as You are high and lifted up forever. Amen.

Galatians 2:6

But from those who seemed to be something--whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God shows personal favoritism to no man--for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me.

Dear Lord please make me keenly aware of false brethren, the ones who convincingly pass themselves off as Christians. The reason for my ask is too many times they have tried to curtail the liberties You have blessed us with. Their desire to bring me back into bondage of religious rituals and works that add to the finished work of the cross. Expose the trickery and deceit that is legalism. The false teachers who refuse to confess that salvation is Your gift through faith alone in the finished work of Jesus on Calvary. May I only speak and live the truth of the Gospel. I thank You Father for my brothers and sisters in Christ and the blessing that You do not show personal favoritism to any, but Your divine love is the same, steady and constant for all who believe. Peter opened his mouth and said, "In truth I perceive that God shows not partiality", You are the same today as You were yesterday. I thank You Father that the good news is not just for a certain population, but every kind of person is welcomed into Your kingdom. Jesus said "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age," Father, i desire to do just that for Your glory and honor. Amen.

Matthew 26:35

Peter said to Him, "Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!" And so said all the disciples.

Heavenly and Holy Father, how often we can be swayed by prides bravado. Although You have warned us there will be trials and not to underestimate the extremes test of faith we will encounter in this life, I pray we Your disciples will remain firm on the rock. And when we faulter, may we quickly turn back and be restored. I give thanks for Jesus' intercession on our behalf. May Your Spirit make us aware of the times we subtly deny You in our daily rounds. The big trials are easy to identify but the little foxes can spoil the vine. Make us aware of the clever schemes of the enemy so we may keenly escape the trap. I pray Father You would lovingly break the strongholds in our lives as we walk with You on the narrow road of sanctification. Forgive us for our pride that puffs us up and leads to a fall. May we love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You our God.  As I ponder Peters words "Even if I have to die with You..." I wonder would I really do just that? I would like to believe I could be so brave, but reality is quite different. I'm so thankful that You who began a work in me will be faithful to see it to completion. I bow my head and bend my knee to You Lord, the King of kings and Lord of lords, the One who is faithful and true. The One the angels say "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!" Worthy are You Lord to receive glory and honor and power for You created all things and by Your will they existed and were created. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 4:1

Finally, then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and please God...

You have instructed us Lord Jesus; they will know us as Your followers by our love for one another. So may it be we abound in this more and more. To be found blameless in holiness before You Our God and King. Some among us, appear to be pleasing to You but all the while they are seeking approval from men. May they receive correction and be fully pleasing to You, being fruitful in every good work. I aspire Lord to lead a quiet life, minding my own business, and to work with my hands. The task of walking properly is an essential part of my witness that must remain steady and constant in my life. Just as I'm dependent on my limbs to support my every step, so I am dependent on the Holy Spirit to keep me walking upright and in the right direction. May I walk worthy of the calling, remaining in Your light, that is in Your revealed will. There is still much yet to come, trials and triumphs, worries and wonders, sanctification and satisfactions and through it all may my heart be filled with gratitude. May each passing day be lived out in a way that please You Almighty God. May I be rooted and built up in You Lord, established in faith as I have been taught, and abounding with thanksgiving. May I be aware lest anyone cheat me through philosophy and empty deceit according to the traditions of men. May I not live according to the basic principles of the world but according to You, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is the head of all principalities and power. All glory and honors is Yours now and forever more. Amen.

Galatians 2:21

"I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."

Dear Holy Father,
I did not receive Your Spirit by the works of the law, but by faith. Lord, I pray for your children who have begun in the Spirit and are now trying to be made perfect by their flesh. I rejoice knowing that I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who lives but You who lives in me. May those who are acting foolishly lacking wisdom quickly recall the gospel of Your Sons crucifixion. Remembering that faith comes by hearing and the hearing of Your word. May we rest today in the truth we cannot achieve perfection through our own efforts, but by Your grace through the resurrection power. May we behold the manner of love that You our Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! And now that we are Your children and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, we know when Your Son is revealed we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. Lord thank You that everyone who has this hope will purify themselves, just as You are pure. Thank You Lord that we can come to You at any time confessing our transgressions and You are quick to forgive us. Restoring us to favor by Your grace and we do not have to run around trying to earn our way back to You. Jesus, You spoke the greatest words from the cross, "It is finish." and this was not done in vain. Bless You Jesus for overcoming sin and death, rising in victory over the grave. Bless You for the greatest gift ever given, may we always remember giving thanks and praise. I pray for those who have not met You yet may they be drawn to You, to be given a new life hidden in You. No longer loving the things of the world but loving You the Creator of all things. I love You Lord and in Your mighty name Jesus I pray. Amen.

John 18:1

When Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with His disciples over the brook of Kidron, where there was a garden which He and His disciples entered.

Dear Heavenly Father,
You have asked that I turn to You with all my heart. I should rend my heart and not my garments, returning to You.  You're gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and great in kindness. You have relented from doing harm. You Lord Jesus excuse no one from prayer in times of spiritual emergency. Jesus, You went with Your disciples over the brook of Kidon which means dark or to mourn but it led to a garden. You continually teach me by the power of Your Holy Spirit, just as Your beautiful and precious Son passed through darkness and was brought to the glory of the resurrection to new life, all areas of living must come to death be mourned and released to You to enter into the garden of vitality. I pray Lord as I surrender my health into Your loving care, You will not only heal my body, but my soul that feels defeated from the battle. I pray Lord, You would lead me to the garden so I may eat from the tree of life, nourishing me in wisdom and knowledge on how to proceed in proper caret that is most beneficial for my body. Put to death Lord all my pride that thinks I can handle this on my own. I pray for all those who are faced with health issues that seem enormous, leaving them feeling discourage and helpless, bathe them Lord in Your peace, surround them in love, so they will know You have not forgotten them. Touch them today and heal them both spiritually and physically. Please reveal Yourself to them in mighty ways, may all the world look and be amazed. Comfort those who mourn and are walking in darkness, lead them over the bridge into the garden of peace and rest. Father thank You for hearing my prayers and the prayers of Your children who are in spiritual emergencies, come quickly and speak into our hearts. I love You Lord and place my hope and trust in You and You alone. In Your mighty and matchless name Jesus, Amen.

Romans 2:4

Or do you despite the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Heavenly Father thank You for reminding me in the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to Titus. I pray to live subject to rulers and authorities, to obey and be ready for every good work so Jesus may be glorified. I desire to speak evil of no one, be peaceable, gentle, showing humility to all men, for Your honor. I was once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lust and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating others. But when Your kindness and love appeared in Jesus Christ I melted. I realize it is not by my works of righteousness but according to Your mercy that You saved me through the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit whom You poured out abundantly through Your Son, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have been justified by His grace that I may become heir according to the hope of eternal life. It is a faithful saying and the way I desire to affirm constantly, because I believe in You, I shall be careful to maintain good works, the things that are good and profitable for me. Father, You know the deepest desire of my heart is truly that my loved ones know Your goodness that leads to repentance. Please tarry no longer and save them, for Your glory Amen.

Isaiah 8:19

And when they say to you, "Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter," should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?

Heavenly Father, Almighty God, I praise You! I give thanks to You for You are good! Your mercy endures forever, hallelujah! Who can utter Your mighty acts? We all have sinned with our fathers, committing iniquity, doing wickedly. We did not understand Your wonders and had forgotten the multitude of Your mercies. Nevertheless, You saved us for Your name's sake. You gave Your perfect Son Jesus to ransom our souls and pluck us from the mirey pit. Yet many still provoke You to anger with their deeds by joining themselves to the evil one by making sacrifices to the dead. There are many who believe the lies of mediums and wizards thinking they deliver divine revelation. The best that could be obtained from these whisperers who are perverted prophets is garbled mutterings. Convict and bring repentance to those who use necromancy to conjure up spirits of the dead to influence events and predict the future. Your word Lord does not teach calling on saints or pleading for help from them. You are the Christ who is set before us as mediator, atoning sacrifice, the great high priest and intercessor, to You alone receive all the glory. Lord, open the eyes of the blind who falsely worship goddesses, saints and idols of various kinds. May You remove hearts of stone and give hearts of flesh to those who are well meaning but very much deceived. You will be coming soon so I ask that You save those I love so they may be with us forever. Amen.

Matthew 11:6

"And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me."

Dear Jesus, You have made the way for us to come to the Father, thank You. You are our hiding place, the sanctuary where I seek refuge, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to many. It grieves me to think of those who shall stumble, fall and be broken, be snared and taken. As I cry out for justice over the wickedness that is prevailing around the nations, believing Your promise they won't prevail for long, I also petition You to have mercy as I remember the days when I too was in rebellion against You. Your amazing grace found me, so I pray it continues to seek out my unsaved loved ones who are in rebellion. You have said rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. Deliver them from evil Lord. Forgiving them for they know not what they do. Many have turned away because they expected quick swift complete answers to their prayers, but the road can be long, and the key is not to lose hope. May I be open to Your unfolding plan even when it doesn't exactly match my expectations. I pray to not fall away from You do to various trials and testing but cling to Your ever-loving side. It is sad to see that many today as did in the era You walked the earth reject You because You don't fit their preferences or demands. It is stated in the amplified Bible like this; And blessed (joyful, favored by God) is he who does not take offense at Me (accepting Me as the Messiah and trusting confidently in My message of salvation), Lord Jesus I do. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, power and glory both now and forever, Amen.

Philippians 1:3

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy...

Blessed are You God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. I come before You today in His great name thanking You Father of tender mercies and the one who comforts us in tribulations may You fill us with Your Spirit to be able to comfort others. May I not be ignorant of the present suffering of the brethren around the world but ask that You would deliver them from evil. I pray for my brothers and sister to have peace and comfort in various trials and the assurance knowing You will never leave or forsake them. Father, I ask for healing rain to fall on those who have infirmities, suffering from various diseases or disabilities to receive answers to their prayers. Father, remember my siblings in Christ who are laboring faithfully to share the gospel especially in hard places, bless and encourage them to continue with joy. Grant wisdom and discernment to those who are called to preach and shepherd Your precious flocks around the globe. Make a way where there seems to be no way for those who are struggling in various areas of life, may the see and experience Your outstretched arm. You are the God of a cattle of a thousand hills whose vats and barns are full so Your children will not live in lack but have provisions needed for this day. Father grant supernatural favor and strategies to those who are working hard to combat evil and bring justice back to the streets so we may dwell in safety. And lastly Father I ask today that You would open the blind eyes and deaf ears to hear the best good news ever, Jesus has risen and paid the ransom for their sins. May the rejoicing in heaven bring a joyful sound that echos through the universe as He is glorified in the lives of the lost. With all my heart I love and praise You now and forever, Amen.

James 5:13

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.

Heavenly Father I pray all Your children walk in wisdom, for the days are evil. May we walk circumspectly not as fools, redeeming the time taking advantage of every opportunity to serve and spread the gospel, the good news the world needs to hear. May we not be unwise but understand what Your will is Lord. May Your church not be under the control of alcohol but be filled with the Holy Spirit. We thank You that we have been sealed by Your Spirit at our new birth and now continually filled moment by moment. Father, I pray You pour out Your Spirit today; first to convict people of their sin so they may repent and be born again and secondly to bring a refreshing on Your church to keep us strong and courageous. So, when we are suffering, we know how to pray as the Spirit will give us utterances and comfort. And when we are cheerful, we can sing making melodies that will praise You and encourage others to continue to fight the good fight of faith. May we continue to give thanks in all things, being built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood to bring You glory. May we be humble, submitting to one another in reverence to You Almighty God. Amen.

Luke 9:57

Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, "Lord, I will follow You wherever You go."

How many times Lord have I voluntarily said without reservation I will follow You. Now that it's been a while, in my walk with You, I'm even more grateful that Your love keeps no record of my wrongs. My good intentions and zeal have often fallen flat. I pray and seek You Lord about the crossroad I stand at desiring to follow You in the next leg of this journey. There are many opportunities and doors before me, and I desire to do Your will and be the most effective for the advancement of Your kingdom. Jesus, You took the lowly position of a servant and I desire the same but there are so many needs to be filled it is overwhelming. The fields are white and ready, but the laborers are few. I ask Lord for Your extra special blessings on the quiet faithful servants who have served long and hard. Thank You for mounting them up on wings of eagles to soar and not be weary in their well doing. We know that our acts of service are in worship of You and for Your glory, not because we want to earn our salvation for that You have freely given. It is from a heart of gratitude and devotion for the gift You have given that we desire to do Your will and follow You. Strengthen the weak knees and feeble hand that have plowed many a field and sowed many seeds. May we see a bountiful harvest. May many come and follow You Lord Jesus for Your glory, Amen.

Micah 3:5

Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who make my people stray; who chant "Peace" while they chew with their teeth, but prepare war against him who put nothing into their mouths.

Dear good and gracious God of our fathers and the Lord Jesus Christ all praise be to You. Our Father of compassion and all comfort, we need You now more than ever. The world is rapidly spinning out of control. For far too long the prophets have said peace, but sudden destruction has come upon the earth, there are wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in various places, strange weather, sickness and food shortages. They have left many unprepared. You have warned us in Your Holy Word to "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits." Father may I be filled with Your power to declare transgressions, revealing sin to those who are deceived thinking their works will save them not seeing they are nothing but filthy rags. There are many in this nation and around the world who abhor justice and pervert equity Father be merciful and reveal their wretchedness before it's too late. May Your children be granted an extra measure of discernment to prepare for what is coming. Father have mercy because from the least of us to the greatest among us we have given in to covetousness, forgive us Lord. We are like sheep without a shepherd going astray. We need Your Holy Spirit to be poured out to return us to order and deliver us from the chaos that swirls around us. May we turn back and love Your name Lord and be Your servants holding fast to Your covenant. Bring us Lord to Your holy mountain and make us joyful in Your house of prayer. May we find peace in Your house of prayer for all nations. Gather us in Lord so we may dwell in safety, protected under the shadow of Your wing. Forgive us Lord we want to say we know not what we are doing but we do. Cleanse us Lord from all our unrighteousness. Be glorified in this hour of history. Amen.

Proverbs 27:6

Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Heavenly Father, I pray to have a teachable spirit for it is better to receive an open rebuke than to be fooled by hidden love. Help me Lord to speak truthfully to those whom I love, and You love even more. May I not conceal my love for them with empty words or cheat others with meaningless philosophies according to the traditions of men, the basic principles of the world that are not according to You. May I consider my words carefully as I heed Your instruction Jesus when You said "That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned." When I was a child, I spoke as a child and thought as a child, but when I became an adult, I put away my childish things. Lord, I pray my words would be like apples of gold in settings of silver fitly spoken when needed. The world screams with empty, distracting and confusing words. Mostly everyone wants their opinions heard but very few truly have what You desire to be said. Lord guard my mouth and may I only speak when the Spirit leads as I do not desire to be a resounding gong or clanging cymbal and lack the love that is needed to heal, restore and encourage others. How I desire Lord to live a quiet life with You, working with my hands and minding my own business. Amen.

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Heavenly and Holy Father, I praise You Adonai. The mountains melt like wax at Your presence. The heaven declares Your righteousness and all the people will see Your glory. Let all be put to shame who serve carved images. Who boast in idols. We who love You hate evil! You preserve the souls of Your children, delivering us out of the hands of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous and You put gladness in our hearts. We shall rejoice in You Lord. Giving thanks at the remembrance of Your holy name. May we walk by Your Spirit and not fulfill the lust of our flesh. May Your power restrain us from the things that contradict Your teachings. We thank You Lord Jesus that You correct those whom You love and are gracious to us when we turn from sin not placing on us condemnation. Thank You for Your loving kindness and tender mercies that are new every day, Father grant Your children to continue on as bearer of truth as many think they will not be held accountable or responsible for their wicked deeds. Repentance is a gift, and we ask Lord that You would bless many more so they too can come into Your presence. Amen.

1 Corninthians 13:3

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Heavenly Father, You have taught us through the love that Jesus poured out on the cross, that it is the love behind the action that gives it value. There has been no greater love than Christ Jesus laying down His life for the salvation of our souls. Father, I confess I do not love well, although I would like to. I often I fall short, forgive me. What is love? It never fails. Love suffers long and is kind, sadly I get impatient in the waiting and can act out in frustration because the change hasn't yet come. Does not envy or behave rudely. Love does not parade itself and is not puffed up. To love is not to think evil and is not provoked. To live life rejoicing in the truth, believing and bearing all things having an enduring hope. The love of Jesus never fails. Help me LORD to continue to put away childish things, maturing in thoughts, and understanding. May I pursue love with a pure heart and motive so others may see You in me. As the days grow darker and the love of many runs cold because wickedness is increasing may I stand firm till the end. Holy Spirit empower me to share the good news that Jesus is the way the truth and life. I will love You, O LORD, my strength. You are my rock, fortress and deliverer the One in whom I will trust. You are worthy to be praised. For You LORD are good and Your steadfast love endures forever, and Your faithfulness to all generations. Amen.

Matthew 28:17

When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.

Dear Heavenly and Holy Father, doubt is an unwanted foe in the heart of those who believe. yet in many it resides. Thomas who walked with Jesus said, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." Jesus in His grace allowed Thomas to touch Him and said, "Do not be unbelieving but believing." Paul mentions in the letter to the Corinthians when Jesus appeared to the disciples in Galilee there were five hundred or more with them and some of them doubted. I am humbled and thankful that You opened my heart to believe Jesus is the Messiah, the risen Lord. He has said " Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Jesus' love for Peter was amazing as he denied three times, but Jesus asked him three times to reaffirm his love and recommissioned him. In some ways Father knowing there were doubters when Jesus rose from the dead, helps me to have pity and continue to intercede on the behalf of those around me today that have not seen and are doubting. I pray Lord, You would bless them with the gift of a new heart of flesh and eyes to see You and believe. Do you love Me more than these? Father, I pray I do. To abide in Jesus and He abide in me for His is the vine and I just a branch who can do nothing apart from Him. Thank You Jesus for loving me as the Father has loved You. I thank You that You have told me this so my joy may be complete. I pray to love others the way You have loved me and be willing to lay down my life for them too. I thank You Jesus for no longer calling me servant but calling me friend. I love You Lord Jesus, may all glory and honor be Yours both now and forever. Amen.

Lamentations 3:22

Through the LORD'S mercies we are not consumed, because His compassion fail not.

Even LORD in Your wrath You remember to be merciful. Your steadfast love never ceases. Your mercies never end. Your mercy goes a second mile and replaces judgement with restoration. Thank You Jesus through Your sacrifice You have made a way to be reconciled back to the Father. When one turns to You the veil is removed. You are the Spirit and where Your Spirit is there is freedom. We all with unveiled faces behold Your glory and are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. There is one gift we do not have, the gift (authority) to save. You took Peter, James and John leading them up on a high mountain and were transfigured before them. Your face shone like the sun and Your clothes became as white light. Only by Your Spirit may it be revealed who You are the great I AM, the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Jesus You are the beloved Son in whom the Father is well pleased. I thank You for Your touch in my life and the instruction to arise and not be afraid. I thank You for opening my eye to gaze upon You with awe wonder, so I ask that with Your compassionate mercy that never fails to open the eyes of those I love who have not yet seen You are the Lord, maker of heaven and earth and our blessed Redeemer. Amen.

John 18:40

Then they all cried again, saying, "Not this Man, but Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a robber.

Heavenly and Holy Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers who glorified Your Servant Son Jesus. He was delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. They denied You the Holy One and the Just and asked for a murder to be granted and then killed You Jesus the Prince of life whom God raised from the dead. Oh, what that day must have been like. Father, I ponder and pridefully think I would never have shouted crucify Him, crucify Him but when I was married to my sin and delighting in my ways, with a mind seared and bent on worldly idols I most likely would have. I have a disdain when I look back at who I was and am filled with overwhelming gratitude for Your loving sacrifice that has transformed me and given me life. Father as I meditate on the cross, I ask for a deeper understanding of the amazing love Jesus had for me and mine. I ask for You would open the minds and hearts of my lost loved ones and draw them to Your pierced side where blood and water gushed out in cleansing streams and the breath of life. Lord thank You for laying down Your life so in You I may live and move and have my being. May all glory and honor be given You Jesus now and forever more, Amen.

John 13:3

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God...

Dear Heavenly Father, You have crowned Jesus with glory and honor. It's remarkable Your Son the King of kings and Lord of lord would humble Himself to wash the feet of the disciples. As You well know we are living is such a self-absorb culture where the climate is me, myself and I. A time where even a good deed is for self-recognition. Most people only giving to get something in return BUT not Jesus, freely He gave, so I desire to follow Him and freely give. Not only out of my provisions but to be loving, forgiving and kind without expectation of reciprocation. It would be a lie Father to say I live this way daily. When there are times, I mumble and grumble when my loved ones have a need, how could I even say I'm kind to a stranger. Forgive me Lord and wash me clean. I understand when Peter said "Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!" I'm so grateful for Your cleansing me. I recognize that just walking the dusty road of life calls for daily confession. Father, forgive me for not girding up the loins of my mind and allow bitterness, jealousy and anger take hold. Although Your Holy Spirit restrains me from acting on these emotions, I know You know they are in the harbor of my heart. Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart. Lord, I want to be like Jesus, in my heart, in my heart. And Lord I want to be more holy in my heart, in my heart. Oh, I want to be like Jesus. All glory be to Him who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen

Matthew 26:56

"...But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.

Father this is so challenging to understand but You see all things and know all things. Jesus said to the disciples ALL of them would be made to stumble because of what He would endure. The striking of the Shephard causes the sheep to scatter. This makes me to tremble and to ask that You hold me fast and firm in Your righteous right hand. I pray to walk with You day by day. Not thinking on the yesterdays or worrying about the tomorrow for today has enough troubles of its own. Father, I ask that Jesus pray for me, that when life sifts me as wheat, I would not faulter, forsake You and flee. For where does my help come from? You Lord the maker of heaven and earth. You are my ever-present help in time of need, thank You. Lord, I desire to be Your ambassador, surrendering my life fully to You the One who saved me. May I implore many on Your behalf to be reconciled back to You. I thank You that Your mercy is new everyday. May I ever be mindful You are the God who fathered me. Your loving kindness endure forever. Great is Your faithfulness and with a song in my heart I will sing of Your love forever. Amen.

Hebrews 5:8

...though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

You Lord Jesus being found in the appearance as a man, You humbled Yourself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. You have the name above all names, and every knee shall bow and confess You are Christ the Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Lord, I know that with somethings I live in obedience but struggle with surrendering control of other things. I desire for this manner of living to come to an end and honor You with all of me. Jesus, You experienced all of what a person goes through on earth and understand how difficult it is to obey but You did it completely and perfectly. Please Lord be my shield and strong tower as You understand the attraction of temptation and in this life, there are many. It seems as we master one type there is another lurking around the corner or the same one keeps coming back. Help me Lord to be more than an overcomer but a co-conqueror with You. Your persistence in obedience is admirable as You lived a sinless life. I thank You for being my Shepherd and leading me to green pastures and still waters. May I learn and master the lessons that this affliction has to teach me. By Your Spirit may I watch and pray as the enemy roams around seeking whom to devour. I have asked many times for You to remove/heal this chronic illness but have come to understand Your grace is sufficient, Your power made perfect in my weakness. I need courage to continue to make necessary changes to adapt to the restrictions it has placed on my life. To live well within the boundaries and continue to flourish. Father, I ask that You bless Your children to flourish as well in whatever challenges they may be facing or enduring. May peace be upon Your church. Amen.

Matthew 21:11

So the multitudes said, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee."

Lord God Almighty, I believe someone really special came from Nazareth. You have asked "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" The responds were John the Baptist, Elijah while others said Jeremiah or one of the prophets. But Lord I say, "You are the Christ, Son of the living God, Messiah." I thank You Holy Spirit for revealing this to me. I pray You will continue to reveal this truth to those around me. Jesus, You speak truth always never proclaiming a lie. Yet there are many who presume to speak a word in Your name which You have not commanded them to speak or speak in the name of other gods. Your holy word says they shall die. This should cause many to tremble as it does in me. Father put a guard over my mouth. As I yield to Your Spirit keep me from uttering a false word. When someone speaks a word presumptuously, I shall not be afraid of them as You are with me, granting me discernment. There are wars and rumors of wars, and prophets all over the internet speaking all kinds of predictions but this I know for sure, one day soon Jesus You will return for Your bride. I pray to have my lamp ready and filled like one of the five virgins, to finish the work of an evangelist sharing the gospel of peace wherever my feet may tread. I pray Lord for those who have been toying and flirting with disaster, pridefully proclaiming "Thus say the Lord" when it is a false spirit whispering in their ears. May You be gracious and merciful calling them to repentance. To walk humbly with You and not live for the accolades of men. Father, I desire to follow Jesus and need Your Spirit to keep me on the narrow road. As I wave my palms in remembrance and devotion to You dear Jesus having made Your triumphal entry into my life, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for Your saving grace. I love You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Mark 14:61

But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again, the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?"

Heavenly Father as I bring before You the prodigals, the unbelievers and the lost I'm so thankful that Jesus is not absent but silently waiting for all the questioning, accusing, mocking and forsaking to quiet in their heart and then He will reveal Himself as Your blessed Son, the Savior. I thank You for taking out the hearts of stone and giving hearts of flesh. Redeemer of the lost. I thank You they will taste and see Jesus is good, true and the way to everlasting life. I thank You for a refreshing today from the long wait. I thank You for renewing me to mount on wing of eagle to soar with You above the storms. I thank You Lord for Your perfect peace so I may say it is well, it is well with my soul. Jesus has overcome and the grave is overwhelmed, You are alive. No need to know more but rejoicing You are coming again in clouds of glory and the dead will rise singing and the angels sing "Worthy is the Lamb!" I love You Lord and believe You are the Christ the Son of the Blessed. Amen.

Matthew 26:30

And when they had sung a hymn, they went outside to the Mount of Olives.

Gracious are You Lord. Yes, my God is merciful. You preserve the simple, brought me low and saved me. My soul rests in You dear Jesus. You have dealt bountifully with me, thank You. For You dear Lord have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from falling. I shall walk before You in the land of the living. You told Peter "But I have prayed for You that your faith should not fail and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren." Jesus thank You for praying for me too. May I stay strong and unwavering in faith as You have place me on the rock. Many trials and testing have come and gone revealing Your faithfulness. My hope is to use these to testify to the brethren to help keep them encourage and strong. You are faithful and have promised those who sow in tears will reap shouts of joy! May I sing hymns of praise, do good works, and live a life of devotion to You my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, now and forevermore. Amen.

...casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

I trust in You alone Lord and have befriended Your faithfulness. You are trustworthy and ever-present time in need. I commit my ways to You with a grateful heart. I trust that You will act and bring forth Your righteousness as light and Your justice as noonday. I thank You for Your Holy Spirit that helps me to be still before You and wait patiently as You work all things out for my good and the good of those I love for Your glory. I shall not fret because it leads to evil, refraining myself from anger knowing You have said vengeance is Yours. You have promised the meek shall inherit the land and delight us in abundant peace. Jesus You are the Prince of peace and the author and finisher of my faith, Thank You. I thank You Lord that You know the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever. We are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine, we have abundance. Thank You Jesus for Your cleansing blood and covering me in Your righteousness. Tis so sweet to trust in You and to take You at Your word. I can cast my cares upon You for You care for me. I love You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Luke 22:24

Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest.

Heavenly Father as I read Your word this morning, I'm struck by the transition from who would betray Jesus and who is the greatest. We are such a prideful people, and You are such a patient and merciful God.  Far to often we desire to be the top of the heap, A #1, king of the hill totally missing that point Jesus made and the example He set. Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lord, the Messiah who humbled Himself to do Your will. Every time I think of this, I'm in awe and gratitude flood my soul. It is such a sad irony that when Jesus was facing the reality of being betrayed and killed, His disciples argued about which of them was the greatest. I want to say "come on people" but then I recall all the times when great sadness is at the door, and I don't want to invite it in because it is too much to bear. Perhaps the reality of the coming great sorrow was why they turned their attention inward. Not making excuses here Lord as I think of the great pain it would be if You were to leave me, the thought of this grief is overwhelming, I could barely breathe. I thank You that I may cling to the promise You will never leave nor forsake me. So, Father by Your Holy Spirit empower me to live and love as Jesus did, may Your receive all the glory. May my words actions and deeds magnify Jesus, the great I Am and lead people to His outstretch arms to receive His love and grace. Amen.

1 Corinthians 11:24

...and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.

Dear Lord of hosts, the only one the angels bow to, continually calling to each other "Holy, holy. holy the Lord of hosts, the whole earth is filled with Your glory!" The same angels will flank You dear Jesus when You return in Your Father's glory. You Lord of hosts are Almighty God. The false gods cannot speak but when You utter Your voice the earth melts. You are the King in the fullness of Your glory. I kneel before You in humble adoration as my salvation does not depend on my works but on Your mercy. I was once unjust trying to sin in secret but You the Lord of hosts cannot be deceived and will redress every crime. Thank You Jesus for paying my ransom and setting my captive heart free, cleansing my soul from all unrighteousness. You command lasting peace and make the war within me cease. As I fight the good fight of faith but at times have fled or used the wrong weapon, You Lord remains by my side, thank You. Oh, the glory of Your grace, that reminds me to humble myself and remember You gave up Your body to be broken for me. I receive it with much gratitude and thanksgiving. May You find me always praising You throughout the rest of my God given days. Until You call me home or I meet You in the air I will declare You are my Lord of hosts, King of kings, Prince of peace, Savior and Almighty God, there is no other. I love You Jesus, Amen.

Zechariah 9;9

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Heavenly and Holy Father, give the King Your justice, and Your righteousness to Your royal Son! May He judge Your people with righteousness and the poor with justice. May the mountains bear prosperity for Your family. Bless You dear Jesus for defending the cause of the poor, give deliverance to the children of the needy and crushing the oppressor. May all the world embrace in full what You the Messiah have accomplished and rejoice in Your soon return. Lord as we proclaim the gospel may we not forget to do the work that will transform societies. May our leaders lead with truth and reverence for You Almighty God. Thereby promoting well-being for all people, tribes and tongues. May they govern in such a way that justice prevails at all times. Correcting and declaring guilty the lawbreakers, thieves and murderers. Give protection to the weaker from the oppressive schemes of the stronger by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Therefore, Father under these conditions' godliness will thrive among the people bringing forth the experience of covenant blessings. May all the foreigners, aliens and pagans be drawn to worship You the one true God and Creator.  I thank You Lord for Your triumphal entry into our hearts and blessing us with salvation of our souls. May all glory and honor be Yours forever and ever. Amen.

Psalm 72

Zechariah 9:9

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! I shall sing and shout, rejoicing with all my heart. You my Lord and God, the mighty One who saves is in our midst. Bless You Lord Jesus for rejoicing over us with gladness and singing. You quiet us with Your love. Bless You Lord for saving the lost now. The people walk in darkness but will see Your great light! I pray Father for those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death, please shine Your light upon them so they may see Your Son's triumphal entry. May we throw down our filthy rags and welcome in the only One who can cleanse our souls. Waving our palms high in the air, worshiping the King of kings and Lord of lords. Father, I am always amazed at the thought of the Messiah, humbling Himself to ride a small donkey. As I look at the mark of the cross on the colt's back a gentle reminder my Savior Jesus Christ is omniscience, omnipresent, and omnipotent over all nature and creation I'm in total awe of Him. Jesus, You calm, transform and change even the wildest of hearts. Lord, I pray for all those who are out of control, unrestrained and running haphazardly to and fro searching for love, peace and joy in the stables of mysticism, drugs and alcohol, prestige and power, financial resources and illicit sexual encounters and various other worldly things. The hope for a fulfilling life can only be found in You Jesus. Please still and hush their anxious hearts so they may hear You calling. May they stop and turn from their ways and find refuge in Your mercy and grace. Lord all glory and honor is Yours forever and ever Amen.

John 13

Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from the world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

Heavenly Father, help me to comprehend the great humility and servanthood of Your beloved Son Jesus. Although He was about to die and agonizing death, He continued to love and focus on His disciples, truly remarkable. His love so amazing and so divine. And He loved all the disciples even the one who betrayed Him, another who denied Him and all who deserted Him for a time. Can my little finite mind understand this completely? As I survey over my own life the times I denied and deserted You for my own selfish desires and cravings of the world and yet You have always stayed with me never leaving me nor forsaking me. Patiently You waited for my return. Thank You dear Jesus. Regrets I have many, but Your mercy is more. I am humbled and filled with gratitude! Especially thankful for the hope You have given me to believe for those who have strayed are still embraced in Your grace. Dear Jesus, pour out Your Holy Spirit on this crazy upside-down world that desperately needs saving. Wash the world clean to gleam for You, our Creator and Messiah. May all that is within me bring glory and honor as I bare witness of who You are the Great I AM. I love You Lord, Amen.

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

Heavenly Father as wars rage, conflict ensue, natural disasters rise, calamity and sickness abound, and hate continues to plague the heart of many it can be quite challenging to endure. As I meditate on Your word and Your instruction, I can only think of one thing which isn't at all a thing but a person, the person of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, Your precious and beautiful Son. He is truth, noble and just. Jesus is pure and lovely and has so many good reports they could fill a library and still there would be more. He is virtuous and praiseworthy, there is none other. So today and all the days after I shall meditate on His love, grace, mercy and kindness, fixing my gaze on His wonder so the things of the earth will grow dim. Jesus outshines even the darkest hours. I pray for Your church Father to have peace as they remember Your goodness and are spurred on to endure and finish the race set before them. May You bless Your children to see Your glory in every situation and circumstance, to bear witness of the truth Jesus is the Messiah and there is no other. Father thank You for giving us Your Son and leaving Your Spirit till our work on earth is done. I thank You for the blessed assurance, Jesus is mine oh what a for taste of glory divine. Hallelujah, Amen.

Acts 4:33

And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

Good and gracious God and Father how wonderful that the multitudes that believe in the resurrection of Your beautiful and perfect Son Jesus are of one heart and one soul. I rejoice knowing one day He will come again in glory for His bride, hallelujah! I thank You for great grace is upon me and all my brothers and sisters to bear witness of Your mercy poured out from the cross. May Your love flow through us to this lost and dying world to gather more into Your kingdom. Father by the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb may we see prodigals come home. May we rejoice with the angels in heaven when sinners come home. Lord, I stand in awe of You and am forever grateful for rescuing me. May all I do and say bring glory to You Oh God. For Yours is the kingdom and power and glory forever and ever. Hosanna in the highest, Amen.

Micah 7:8

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.

My steps are ordered by You Lord. Though I may fall, I shall not be cast down, for You uphold me with Your righteous right hand. This does not mean Father that I intentionally do so but am forever grateful that when I do You don't leave me lying there.  I have been young and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken. You Lord are ever merciful and lend. May I depart daily from evil and endeavor to do good. May I dwell with You and feed on Your faithfulness forever. Seeking always to delight myself in You and You alone. Father I am thankful for all the times You have shown light into the dark days of my life, always Your kindness encouraging me, Your grace lifting me and Your truth sustaining me as manna from heaven. Jesus You are the bread of life and daily my portion, thank You for leading me in the way that is right. Thank You for Your robe of righteousness so even when I fall seven times Your love causes me to rise again. I do not rejoice when my enemies fall, not allowing myself to be glad when he stumbles because I know You are the One who is the perfect judge. I also can easily recall my days of folly and rebellion and Your loving kindness that drew me to repentance. I pray for my enemies to come to saving faith in You the Lord Jesus Christ. You are the risen Messiah. May all the earth declare Your glory until the day of Your return. Amen.

Romans 10:8

The word is near to you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim)

Heavenly Father, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart You raised Him from the dead, thank You for revealing truth to me. I pray for others to be blessed with the knowledge of this great gift given, the resurrection. I pray the world would know that saving faith is not a mere intellectual agreement but deep inward trust in You Lord Jesus. I hear so many talks about feeling, the this or that or the other thing, so much focus on self and not on You our ever-present help in time of need. There are posts, and podcast on how to have a better life, there are list of 10 simple steps to peace, prosperity and purpose. But all are just clanging bells that leave a deaf ring in the ear and hollowness of the heart. A parched soul endlessly walking in the desert searching for a drink of water, is so sad. You Jesus are the living water that brings forth streams in the desert and cause roses to bloom in arid places of our lives. You have blessed me Lord with a lifetime of testimonies of Your faithfulness, thank You. I pray Lord many with see through the clouds of confusion in this hour and taste and see You are the way, the truth and the life. There is no other way to You Father and nothing, or no one else who give peace to the weary soul, only Your beautiful, precious Son Jesus. Thank You Jesus for giving me rest and the knowledge that one day I will be in eternity with You. I love You Lord, Amen.

Daniel 7:13

I was watching the night vision, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.

You Lord Jesus have been given dominion and glory and a kingdom. You are far greater than the kings of the earth. You reign and rule over the entire world forever and ever. Every knee shall bow, and tongue confess, and all people, tribe, tongue and nation shall serve and worship You. Your dominion shall not pass away. You came as a Lamb but will return soon as a Lion. So, I pray Lord turn the hearts of the lost back to be found in You. Break the yoke of rebellion off Your creation and cause them to worship You in the beauty of Holiness. Pour out Your Spirit to convict the world of sin so all may come to saving faith in You dear Jesus. Grant extra boldness and courage to those You have chosen to preach the Gospel. Bless them Lord as they carry the truth across the globe. Lord keep Your faithful servants, the missionaries around the world in perfect peace as the exemplify Your love for humanity. I pray their strength will not fail but be renewed daily to mount on wings of eagles to soar above the corruption, witchcraft and darkness. May they continue to shine bright in the dark corners of the world for Your glory. I thank You that their rewards in heaven are great. Help me Lord to continue to do Your will and to see You at every turn, I love You Lord Jesus, Amen.

Mark 15:3

And the chief priest accused Him of many things, but He said nothing.

Dear Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. You are the way, the truth and the life and I cannot go to the Father without You. Over and over, You revealed Yourself to the world as You walked the earth doing mighty deeds yet were accused of many things. Your meekness is amazing as You stood firm before Your accusers, unshakable and pure. You face the merciless authorities and hostile crowd and uttered not a word; I imagine thinking on the glory to come. How I hate it in myself when I insist on my own way or have demanded an answer, all the while You are confident in the better way. Without You Lord I have nothing, can do nothing and am nothing, I have and continue to surrender all to You believing that You will be glorified in the trials and tribulations as You refine my thoughts and emotions deepening my trust in You. Thank You for leading me by Your examples and filling me with Your Holy Spirit to accomplish the things set before me. May I not murmurer, complain or put up a defense but joyfully serve You in all I do and say. Jesus be magnified in my life so there is less of me and more of You. I love You Jesus and forever grateful. Amen.

Psalm 96:3

Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all people.

Oh, let me sing a new song unto You, LORD. May all the earth sing praise to You God. May my singing to You LORD bless Your holy name. By Your Spirit may I proclaim the good news of Your salvation from day to day. What joy LORD to declare Your glory among the nations and wonders to all people, not just some but all. You LORD are great and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all gods. Because all the gods of people are filthy idols. But You oh LORD made the heavens, speaking them into existence. Honor and majesty are before You. Strength and beauty are in Your sanctuary and that LORD is where I desire to be. May I give to You LORD the glory due Your great name, Jesus the name above all names. May my offerings be acceptable as I come into Your courts with praise. May I worship You and You alone in the beauty of holiness! May all the earth tremble before You. I desire to tell all the nations "The LORD reigns." You LORD shall judge the people righteously and may I be found among Your chosen. Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth be glad; let the sea roar and all its fullness; let the field be joyful, and all that is in it, Then the trees of the woods will rejoice before the LORD. For You are coming to judge the earth and shall judge the world with righteousness and all the people with truth. I thank You LORD that You will restore justice. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Father how wonderful and marvelous You are. You loved me when I was helpless, ungodly and an enemy, how much more You love me now that I am Your child. Forever grateful. By Jesus blood...through His death, You have justified me declaring me a sinner, righteous. How can I stop singing Your praises. Thank You Jesus for reconciling me back to the Father. May You receive all the glory and honor due You both now and forever more. I thank You for You have making peace between us. This hope that You have given I pray to share with the world around me. Open the heart of the lost so they may be found. May the deaf ears hear You calling, and the blind eyes see You are the way to freedom. Lord, I pray for and outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to bring sinners to repentance, because while we were sinning You demonstrated Your great love. A love so amazing and so divine. Lord thank You for this day, I will rejoice and be glad for You are with me wherever I go. Amen.

Acts 10:2

...a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always.

Heavenly Father, empower me by Your Holy Spirit to carry the message of Christ to all peoples. I thank You for the gift of reverence and awe of who You are. I long for everyone in our household to be fully devoted to You, but as I wait, I will serve You with my whole heart. Remembering the poor and their needs, blessing neighbors and friends in Your honor and lifting of holy hands in prayer for brothers and sisters around the globe. May they remain steadfast in trials and tribulations as they know full well You are their every present help in times of need. I pray Lord for an outpouring of Your Spirit across the nations and for true repentance to sweep the land. Forgive those Lord who have forgotten their first love and have drifted into darkness, slumbering and sleeping the days away. Cause Your church to arise and be devout in words and deeds. To shine as beacons of hope to the lost and dying world. Revive the hearts of Your children giving them a new song to sing. Even in the hard times may You continually hear praises on our lips as we pray and give thanks to You the King of kings and Lord of lords both now and forever more. Amen.

John 20:17

Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'"

What a marvelous sight that must have been Lord Jesus, to watch You ascend to heaven. To hear the promise that is still being proclaimed today, You will return in a like manner they saw You go. Lord thank You for the promise You will never leave nor forsake us but that You are with us always even to the end of the age. You have given us a wonderful, beautiful gift of the Holy Spirit, whom we desperately need in this hour of such chaos around the world. I believe in You and Your second coming. The establishment of Your kingdom is why I pray Your mercy and grace be poured out on my unsaved loved ones who are groping, stumbling in the dark. Jesus, please draw them as You did with me with Your loving kindness. I will declare Your name to Your brethren, in the midst of the assembly I will praise You with my whole heart. Because I have reverence and awe wonder of who You are, the Messiah, the risen Lord, my Savior and Redeemer. By Your Spirit may I tell all the world You reign. Jesus, You are glorified and magnified in all the earth. Amen.

Colossians 1:27

To them God will make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

All glory and honors belong to You dear Jesus. In Your name I come to the Father with thanksgiving and praise for the gift of the Holy Spirit that now lives in me. Being part of Your church Lord is the best place to be, thank You for the cross. I thank You for choosing me to be one of many You have made the mystery known. Making it available to all, not like in pagan religions where there is only a certain few and an inner circle. You Jesus have said come to Me all You who are weary and heavy laden and I will give You rest, thank You Lord. I thank You that no rituals are needed, but the receiving of redemption given from You Jesus the Messiah. I pray You continually pour out Your Holy Spirit on those who are seeking and searching for truth to have the mystery revealed. Thank You Lord for You are the covenant keeper, what You have said goes, period. I thank You for the amazing hallmark that You Yourself are directly and personally present in my life. And with that comes the assurance of a future life with You when You Jesus return. May Your children be unified in the bonds of Your love. Amen,

Matthew 6:16

Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

Dear Holy Father, grant me patience to wait for blessings that come when I fast. Laying down my pride "the see me desire" and, my "I'm so religious attituded" in leu of the quiet, humble intimacy with You. Let not my ego rise up for recognition but my soul be malleable in Your loving hands as You mold and shape me into Your desire Lord. Thank You for Your instructions not to look to people for validations or acceptance. You are the only one who can satisfy my soul, filling me with Your perfect peace. The joy of You is my strength and I long to know You more. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit to help me slow down, living with purpose and intention, not as to men but doing all things unto You Lord. May my simple sacrifice be an offering acceptable to You. All glory and honor are Yours forever and ever, Amen.

Mark 7:9

He said to them, "All to well you reject the commandment of God, that you keep your traditions.

Heavenly Father as I ponder this season of preparation, I wonder about the traditions of men. Forgive me Lord for the times I turned to human traditions to cleanse my heart. The activities of do this, don't do that are ineffective and have robbed You of glory. These things I've come to realize only lead to disregard of Your Holy word. Hypocrites are those whose actions are merely external and never pierce the heart. I do not desire to be far from You for by Your grace You saved me. May I never depart from Your loving kindness and tender mercies but be wrapped in the warmth of Your love forever. Amen.

Colossians 3:1

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Good and gracious God my Father, I thank You for Your mercy that saves me. I seek You who are above, setting my mind not on things that are on earth. I confess it is not always easy especially when longing for lost loved ones to come home. But yet may the praises on my lip be an acceptable offering and pleasing to Your ears. I thank You that my life is hidden in Christ and You will grant me the desire of my heart for my family and friends to be hidden in You as well. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that cleanses us from immorality, impurities, passion and evil desires wiping our minds clean. Make me keen to the things that lure me to covetousness that is idolatry. I thank You for the power of the Holy Spirit to put away all anger, malice, wrath slander and obscene talk because You have created me new. I pray this day to be renewed in knowledge of who You are, the Creator of the world. Today, Lord, I thank You for clothing me in compassion, kindness, humility, meekness and patience as one of Your beloveds should be dressed. May I be used by You to guide others to the truth and may they receive the victory given from the cross. All honor and praise given to You dear Jesus, Amen,

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weakness, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Dear Lord God, Almighty, thank You for Your grace that is sufficient and Your perfecting power working in me. I surrender all. Your word says it all. May praises to You be continually on my lips. I love You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Philippians 3:10

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Oh Lord how I desire to reject my own righteousness in order to secure not merely an intellectual knowledge of You but relational, in fact an intimate knowledge. I desire the same for my loved ones as well. To know the power of Your resurrection not only as a one-time event but Your ongoing power in the day-to-day experience of life being in You the Christ. To desire to be an imitator of You would be the greatest compliment I could give and comes from a heart of sincere gratitude. May I forget those things which are behind and reach forward to the things that lay ahead. Although I cannot obliterate the past from my memory, I refuse to let it obstruct my progress. May I not be conformed to the world but by the renewing of my mind. So, Father I yield my will to Your gracious hand to be molded and shaped into the image and likeness of Your radiant Son. May You Lord Jesus be glorified in and through me forever, Amen.

Matthew 6:1

"Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven."

Let not my acts of obedience that are valuable and honorable be done merely for the sake of public recognition especially when giving to the needy, praying or fasting, Father I pray. You have taught me to store up my treasures in heaven where neither pride, nor self-promotion can rob me of Your rewards.  Father, I do not desire to be an actor who wears different masks to play different roles thereby being hypocritical. Let me not do right things for the wrong reasons. Grant me wisdom and insight into my motivations to bring correction where necessary. I have a deep longing in my heart to stand approved by You Lord, my God and King who sees in secret. I have learned over the years that truly I overflow with the richest joy when You are glorified and magnified in my life. When there is less of me and more of You. I love You Lord Jesus, Amen.

Proverbs 10:8

The wise in heart will receive commands, but the prating fool will fall.

Heavenly Father, You who are wise beyond measures. I seek You today for great understanding of Your commands. To live them out daily and at times moment by moment. I thank You for blessing me to be teachable and to master that which You require; to love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You all my days. Let me not be a prating fool, going on and on without a purpose, being deaf to what You are saying. May I be quick and attentive to listen to those You lovingly placed in my life. May I be slow to speak but respond with grace and truth as Your Spirit leads me. May I be even slower to respond in anger but yield to You with my emotions. I recognize Lord I do not know everything about everything and long for good counsel. Your wisdom that is from above affects how I think, Your wisdom from above affects how I feel, and Your wisdom affects how I act. Oh how I desire abouve all things to bring You glory and in doing so I am blessed. Thank You Father for loving me so much that You desire good for me all my days. I love You Lord, Amen.

Proverbs 9:6

Forsake foolishness and live and go in the way of understanding.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your written word that instructs me in truth, showing me the way to live an abundant life. I ask that You bless all those I love with the same desire to know You. The value of wisdom yields riches and honor, greater than silver and gold, those who have it are blessed and find life. The foolish are opposite and love death, Lord, have mercy. Fear of You Lord is a gift as it is the beginning of wisdom. Knowledge of You the Holy One is understanding. Father, please give this gift to all my unsaved loved ones. A precious gift that multiplies our days and adds years of life. I thank You for keen ears to discern the foolishness of trends, not following others in order to save time and effort but to truly process all that is required in decision-making. May I not get caught in digital distractions and technology traps but stand firm on the solid rock of Christ. I thank You Lord that I have nothing to lose but naivete when choosing wisdom that's from above. Jesus, teach me Your ways so I may have victory in life's challenges. May You receive all glory and honor due Your great name, Amen.
