Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and grace that saved me. Thank You for Your body that You have made as a light for the Gentiles, so we may bring salvation to the ends of the earth. And when they hear this good news may they be glad and glorify Your word. I pray Lord for many to be appointed to eternal life. May Your children remain strong when persecution comes, shaking the dust off our feet and continue on the journey spreading the gospel as we are filled with joy and Your Holy Spirit. Thank You that You have trained us by saving grace. You have taught us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present age. May we Your church continue looking forward to the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ. You Lord gave Yourself for us that You may redeem us from every lawless deed and purifying for Yourself Your own special people, zealous for good works. Father let no one despise us. May we as Your children pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see You Lord. May we keep watch of these three dangers; falling short of Your grace or in other words refusing Jesus gracious offer for salvations and Your provision for our needs, allowing bitter roots to grow in our assemblies, becoming irreligious or immoral. May we not lose our inheritance as Esau did by despising Your gracious promises and valuing pleasures of this world more. Father, renew our spiritual vitality, strengthen the hand which hang down and the feeble knees, making straight paths for our feet so we may endure the race of faith. May all we do and say bring glory and honor to You in Jesus name, Amen.
