John 19:41

Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.

Our Father in heaven, hollowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Blessed be Your name Jesus. In the beginning You created Adam and Eve. And in the garden where they walk with You in the cool of the day their pride caused them to sin. Bringing with it separation from You. Jesus You have said, "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if dies, it produces much grain". You lovingly created this world to be in a fellowship with it, and is still Your delight. So You lovingly bore our sins on the cross, yielding up Your precious life for mine, for all. They then laid You in a new tomb, where no death, decay or wickedness ever inhabited. Your beauty and deity never to dwell with corruption. As I look upon the small garden in my yard, I observe how the a single seed goes into the dark ground and the come forth in the most vibrant of life, in all splendor. This is a sweet reminder of the glorious day You sprung forth to new life, being raised from the dead in victory. The only Son of the Father, like the seed, died to produce many sons and daughters. You Jesus forever alive, overcoming the grave and extending Your loving kindness and forgiveness to all who believe You are the Messiah. Forgive me Lord for my words are lacking in expressing the majestic wonder of You. I stand in awe. Sadly to some this truly remarkable miracle is nonsense but to those who believe and trust, it is life eternal. So I pray this morning Lord You would gracious open the eyes of the blind to see You for who You really are the King of king, Lord of lords, the great I Am, the Alpha and Omega, the Lion and the Lamb, the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Risen One, Emmanuel, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Branch and the Savior of the world. Thank You, for reconciling me to You. I love You Lord Jesus and may Your praise be forever on my lips. Amen.

Hosea 10:12

Sow for yourself righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Oh Father how depended I am on You. Your name is memorable, You are the Lord, God of hosts. By Your might Lord, return us to that which is right. To live in observance of mercy and justice. May we continually wait on You, Lord. Forgive us Lord and reestablish morality in this society as well as those around the world. May my voice be the like the one crying out in the wilderness for all to turn from their wicked ways and seek You with our whole hearts, for there is where we will find peace and rest. Father, please remind us that You alone are God Most High who will bring this troubled Nation to repentance so Your blessings will not be postponed, but be restored. Lord, may social justice, righteous, mercy and loyalty be what springs forth by the breaking up of the fallow ground in our hearts. Oh Lord that we would love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You. Father, how I ache for those who have lost loved ones in all the recent brutal attacks, I pray You would send Your precious Holy Spirit to comfort them. Heal those who grieve Lord, Touching the wounds deep within so they may have joy again. Lord, I understand their lives will never be the same again, so I pray they will be able to have an extra measure of Your grace to forgive. Jesus shine Your Light into the darkness to expose all of it's depravity. Give us clean hand and a pure heart. Wash us Jesus in Your cleansing blood so we may live to be the peace makers. Blessed we will be to be called Your children. Lord Jesus in You we put our hope and trust knowing You are the Alpha and Omega. May Your name Jesus be lifted high. Come Lord Jesus come, have mercy on the wretched world. Amen.

Luke 3:11

He answered and said to them, "He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise."

May it be this day Lord Jesus that my testimony, my voice is the one that calls out in the wilderness of another's life. May every path be made straight, valley filled with Your amazing love and grace. May every mountain of sin and hill of doubt be brought low. May all crooked thinking and rough emotion be smoothed by your grace. Oh, Father that all flesh should see the salvation given through Your beautiful and faithful Son, Jesus Christ. The wilderness is a strange place to give a vineyard. And bitterness transformed into a door of hope. But You have given Your life so we may have it more abundantly. May we bear much fruit Lord, worthy of repentance. Who we are connected to in genealogy or who we know will not grant us favor with You, God. No amount of works will earn our way into Your loving heart. Ah, but the simple confession of our sin, the seeking of Your sweet forgiveness and the receiving of Your mercy is the divine creating us new. Father, I pray this morning to extend forgiveness to others, especially to those who have hurt me the most. The ones who do not seem worthy to receive such a gift. Oh that I should recall the day of old when I was just that one. Let me not hold onto two garments while one is in need to be warmed by love. May I not withhold food when others need the nourishment of truth. Freely You Jesus have given to me, so may I freely give to others by the power of Your Holy Spirit. I thank You Lord for the transforming of my mind, resulting in change of action towards those around me. May my deeds of this day bring about the gift of repentance, the blessing of salvation. For Your glory and honor Jesus. Amen.

Luke 1:45

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told to her from the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and praise. Your solid foundation stands having a seal. You Lord know those who are Yours so may everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. I thank You Lord that through repentance of my sins I have received an intimate relationship with You. So I thank You Lord for the gift of Your Holy Spirit living in me who tells the things to come. Father I believe You will fulfill all that You so lovingly promised. And I look forward with great excitement to see Your glory come forth and be made manifest. May my soul and the souls of my loved ones magnify You as we rejoice in You our God and Savior. I thank You Lord for when You come into someones life things are never the same but far greater. I thank You Lord for fighting and protecting me and all Your precious children. I thank You Lord Jesus for in You I have found rest and blessed assurance of your promises. Father, I pray for those who have yet to be transformed by Your mercy and grace, may today be the day it is fulfilled in there lives to be reborn. Blessed am I for I believe in You Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. I shall turn my eyes upon You Jesus and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of your glory and grace. Amen.

Luke 22:43

Then the angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.

Dear Holy Father I come before You in the mighty and powerful name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth in thanksgiving and praise for the finished work of the cross. As I read Your Holy Word this morning regarding Your Son praying to You in the garden of Gethsemane, I am struck by the words; an angel came to Him from heaven and strengthened Him. When it came time for You Jesus to do the most obedient thing anyone in history has ever done, freely giving up Your life to pay the ransom of others, You knelt down before Your Father in heaven and prayed.  Father God did not leave You in Your agony, but sent a ministering angel to strengthen You, and You prayed more earnestly. In Your humanity asking the Father if it would be His will to take the cup of wrath from You, but in Your Deity and Majesty surrendered and submitted Your will to His. I ask forgiveness for the times I've been reluctant, disobedient, cowardly to come under Your authority. Far to often this has delayed the blessings from coming or ever being revealed to teach me more about Your love. Father, You have placed free will into us from the beginning of creation, and it is the cause of many struggles. How I desire to live as a reed blowing in the wind, always bending to the direction of the breeze. My desire to live in the center of Your will is not an easy one, when trials come my neck stiffens and my knees don't bend and far to often rebellion creeps in. Forgive me Lord for my lack of trust in these times of testing. Forgive me Lord for my lack of patience as You are seeing to completion the good work You have so lovingly started in me and mine. Forgive me Lord as I have desire to see the finish work without enduring the process, denying You of Your rightly deserved glory. So this morning I withdraw a stones throw away for the world around me kneeling down to pray to You, my loving and kind Father in heaven, bringing my fears and concerns before the throne of grace and mercy. You have said "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Father, thank You for the greatest gift of salvation given through Your dear Son Jesus Christ. Thank You Father that You hear and bless my private requests on the behalf of my family and friends, loved ones and acquaintances. May all glory and honor be Yours for ever and ever, Amen.

John 10:1

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber."

Dear Holy Father,
A thief steals in secret and a robber plunders openly with violence. How often have I been a thief stealing away from my health. How often Father I have plundered my body with things that rob my vitality. Far to often Father, eating foods that cause me to crave more food, or depriving myself of much needed sleep to finish just one more task. I've run off with good intentions to meet the needs of others all the while denying myself time needed to exercise my physical form. Yes, Lord I have tried to climb over the wall another way to wellness. Taking for myself the glory all the while pilfering what is rightly Yours. Jesus You are the good Shepherd that lead us by still waters. You Jesus make us to lie down in green pastures and restore our souls. You Jesus are the way, the truth and the life that restores our health. Jesus call to Your children that have gone astray running after the things like overeating, drinking, smoking or the use of drugs that lead to death. Your sheep Lord know Your voice and You know ours. Far to many Lord are listening to the hirelings, but the hireling does not truly care for the sheep. Hireling have schemes and quick fixes that only benefit themselves and leave those who have followed destitute. Open our eyes to see the deception in their wicked plans, and their enticement. The words that lure with easy solutions or guaranteed results, all lies to line their pockets stealing from those they are suppose to help. Father just as Samson cried out saying "O Lord God remember me I pray, strengthen me just once more", so to I pray for strength and the strength of my brothers and sister to overcome the obstacles that keep us from entering through the gate into Your rest. I pray we strive and struggle no more. Jesus there is freedom in Your embrace and You came so we may have life and have it more abundantly. Thank You Jesus for laying down Your life in exchange for mine. You go before me and I shall follow You because I have heard Your loving voice calling to me. I pray Lord many more will seek You and find You at the gate that leads them out of darkness into Your marvelous light. May all glory and honor be Yours forever and ever. Amen.

John 6:68

Simon Peter answered Him, " Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."

Dear Heavenly Father,
Just like Peter, I answer You, "To whom shall I go?'  Father, there is none like You. There is no other god before You. And no other way but coming to You through Your precious Son Jesus. The world and all that is trappings have nothing that is eternal to offer. Jesus I believe with all my heart You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. In my pain and grief, in my doubts and fears there is no where for me to go but straight into Your loving, kind and merciful arms. Oh that I should dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Abiding under the shadow of You Almighty. I will declare You Lord are my refuge and my fortress. My God in whom I trust. Thank You Lord for covering me and mine under Your feathers. Under Your wings Father we shall take refuge. We will not be afraid of the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day. You the Most High are our dwelling place. And I bless You Lord Jesus for given Your angels charge over us. Today Lord I humble myself under Your might hand. Casting all my cares upon You Jesus. Father by the power of Your Holy Spirit grant me strength, courage, perseverance to be sober and vigilant. Cause me to stay awake because the adversary walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour. Thank You Jesus for Your precious shed blood protection over me and my house, for we shall serve You our Lord, our Savior, our Deliverer, our Redeemer, our Friend and our great God and King. Your kingdom shall have no end. Thank You Father for leaning Your ear and being attentive to my cry. With a grateful heart I thank You, Amen.

James 4:1

Where do wars and fights come from among you?
Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?

Heavenly Father as You watch over Your children below, how it must grieve You to observe the conflict within us. The war that is between our sinful desires for pleasure and the desire for Your will. I surrender my cravings to You Lord and ask for Your Holy Spirit to be stirred up within me to empower me to have victory over things that entice and ensnare me. I do not desire the things of this world that are full of lies and deceptions keeping me from the wonders You so lovingly have for me. May I be still and know that You are God. You need no help from me because You are all powerful, Almighty, the great I Am. Jesus I read something that said, there is a perfect passivity which is not indolence. It is a living stillness born of trust. Jesus I trust You with every area of my life, for it is not mine, but Yours the One who gave it to me. Bring to my remembrance when I'm feeling worried, quiet tension is not trust, it is simply compressed anxiety. Anxiety is fear and fear is the prideful worry of self. May Your perfect peace fall sweetly upon Your children granting us rest in Your loving arms, being anxious for nothing but with prayer, supplication and much thanksgiving make their request known to You. And may You who will hear from heaven grant us peace, The peace that surpasses all understanding that will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen.

1 Peter 1:14

...as obedient children not conforming yourselves to former lusts as in your ignorance.

Dear Holy Father,
When I hadn't tasted of Your goodness. When I hadn't seen Your loving kindness. When I had no revelation of one day sitting at Your banquet table eating of heavenly food, I was consumed with gorging myself on things of this world. But now I know the Bread of Life, the one who sustains me to walk in obedience by the power of Your Spirit living in me. I no longer conform myself to former lusts. For greater Lord Jesus are You in me than he who is in the world. Father, Your gift of salvation through Your beautiful and precious Son Jesus Christ causes us to cut a new pattern of living no longer shaped by our past. Your Word Father, a set of instructions to be followed in the making of a new life, a life in Christ. Bless You Lord for the courage to continue on, even when we stumble or fall Your mercy reaches down and lifts us up. Your grace at times so undeserving, yet You freely give. So, Lord we too should extend what was freely given to us to others, and also to ourselves. Because therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in You. Your love Lord is so amazing, I pray many, many more will come to know You, turning from their ways and cling to You being transformed into someone far greater than they could imagine. In Your Holy name Jesus I give thanks and pray, Amen.

3 John 1:2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Dear Heavenly Father,
As I awake this morning to Your banner over me that is love, You welcome me into Your banquet. You Lord Jesus are my Beloved and I am Yours. You have prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You are not intimated by the evil one. Although he prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour, You are always loving and kind, strong and powerful defending and protecting us. You Jesus have overcome the world and all forms of wickedness. What an honor and privilege to hear You the King of kings and Lord of lords call me friend. The apostle John wrote a letter to Gaius, and in his greeting he implies Gaius is physically weak, though he spirit is strong. And this morning Lord I hear Your loving voice say, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." You Lord Jesus died, and furthermore are risen, and sit at the right hand of God the Father, and make intercession for us, for me. What an incredibly humbling thought, You could be concerned or be occupied with a great number of other more delightful things but no You pray and intercede for Your children. Is there no greater joy for You than to see us walk in truth? Thank You Lord for Your amazing love as I meditate on just that Your love, and willingness to pour it out. I am forever awestruck. Father I surrender my will in to Your loving hands, so just as Your Spirit in me is strong, so my body will be too. My words of I love You seem so small but please accept them as pure and true. In Your beautiful name Jesus, Amen.

1 Corinthians 4:2

Moreover it is required in the stewards that one be found faithful.

For many of us Lord as You well know are facing various kinds of trials. Your Holy Spirit brings to remembrance the testing of our faith produces perseverance. So by Your power may we maintain a persisting trust so faith may finish its work in us to be mature, complete and lacking nothing. Many cry out to You Lord our times are in Your hands deliver us. Lord Your desire is for us in our affliction to earnestly seek You and You alone. We are to be good stewards over our finances, fitness, families and friendships and we must be found faithful in all. As I recall promises made to myself I know in many ways I have not been faithful, diligent or committed. As I read Your holy word this morning Your servant Paul advises, "Its is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago, but now you also must complete the doing of it."  Father I pray to have a dug in tenacity that is relentless so I may overcome the obstacles before me standing in the way of my health being restored. I pray Father You will continue to spur Your children on in the trails they face, whether lose of job or loved one. Father steady those who have been shaking by crumbling marriages, set backs in studies or an undesired medical reports. Lord I pray our eye be fixed on the finished work of the cross resting in the knowing all glory and honor is Yours. You who have started a good work in us will see it to completion. Jesus You persevered through the greatest trail and testing that deemed You victorious over life! You Jesus have rose from the dead, overcoming sickness, disease, abandonment, shame, abuse, false accusations and so much more. I pray all will seek You,  I know without a doubt they will find You there in the midst of their darkest troubles. For You Lord are our ever present help in times of need. Thank You Lord for never leaving nor forsaking me, always and forever true to Your word. I love You Lord, Amen.

Mark 1:40

Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down before Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."

Glory to God in the highest and peace to His people on earth. All those Lord Jesus who have been touch by Your compassion, rejoice because Your are the God who sees. Your willingness to heal and cleanse those who are sick with sin, and are outside of Your loving embrace is divine. Ah, Your children know full well the mercy and grace bestowed upon them by Your caress of kindness. Jesus simple put, You do nice things! You not only healed the leper but You touch Him. No one else would have, but You did. All of us Lord in some way could be demeaned untouchable by a Holy God, Your incredible love Jesus made a way. Bridge the gap making it possible to come into an intimate relationship with the Father. May all the world turn to You seeking Your willingness to touch them. Jesus be glorified throughout the land near and far. Forgive us Lord for the times we see someones in need yet remain unmoved or un-involved. Your word speaks it over and over admonishing us to care for others. You have instructed us Lord saying, "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love". Today may Your children, Your people who have been blessed by Your tender mercies be moved by compassion and willingness to touch a life that has been cast aside or cast out, may it be the demonstration of Your love. Whether the separation was caused by choice or circumstance does not matter, let us be Your beautiful hands extended in a kind embrace. May our mouths proclaim the good news of the Gospel and our prayers be one of thanksgiving for Your tenderness that has healed us body, mind and spirit. Amen.

Jeremiah 13:10

This evil people, who refuse to hear My words, who follow the dictates of their hearts, and walk after other gods to serve them and worship them, shall be just like this sash which is profitable for nothing.

Dear Holy Father,
Our pride reduces us to ruin. Our love for idols, is a pride that self-exalts causing our ears to become dull to Your instruction. May we turn from following the dictates of our hearts, as not to be cast into a land we do not know. You told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, or they would surely die. But Your gracious goodness said of all the other trees we may freely feast. Its puzzling Lord "the "why". Why we desire the things that lead us to our own demise, pain and heartache. The way we indulge on food that lacks nutrition, intimacy with another person's spouse, a drug to forget the pain, the fashion trend that covers insecurity, or the prestigious positions that strokes the small ego. This all leads to destruction, failing health, broken marriages, hangovers, emptiness, and isolation, truly not Your loving desire for us. Father, I pray for those who today have awoke to find themselves in a foreign land, desolate and far from You, may they cry out to You and You hear them. Cleansing us with Your precious blood. Smash the idols, and free the captives as only You can do. Holy Spirit draw those who are bound by religion. The preforming of daily rituals, but all the while never personally knowing You. May they hear Your words, repent and believe in the risen One, Jesus Christ the Messiah, Emanuel God with us, the Only Son of God. Jesus be glorified in and through our lives today. Exposing to each of us the hidden idols that are keeping us from hearing Your loving voice, Your words of instruction guiding us the way we should go. May we daily walk with You Jesus. Thank You for taking us by the hand. Amen.

Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.

Dear Heavenly Father,
You dwell in the high and holy place. You are the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity and Your name is Holy. You revive the spirit of the humble and the heart of the contrite. Who Lord may stand in Your Holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol. But there is none righteous, no not one. Jesus we need You, sinners need a Savior, and You are He. Oh that we should be kind to one another, forgiving each other just as You God have forgiven us through Your atoning sacrifice. Jesus I am always awestruck when I read how You humbled Yourself to wash the feet of the disciples. The only begotten Son of the Father, the Prince of peace, took a towel and girded Yourself. Got down on Your knees on that dusty floor, removed the sandals from the feet of the men You spent time teaching and washed them. What an incredibly unselfish act. Lord, I pray we have the courage to do the same, in all humility and kindness, loving each other the way You so love us. Your love suffers long, and are kind, You never envy, You don't parade Yourself and are not puffed up or behave rudely. Never seeking Your own but always doing the will of Your Father. You are never provoked, think no evil and never rejoice in iniquity. But rejoicing in truth, while bearing all things, You are hope that endures. Your love Jesus never fails, Your love Jesus is the greatest! My words of thanksgiving seem so small in respect to Your generosity, so please Lord fill me today with a refreshing of Your Holy Spirit to love as You have so graciously loved me. Amen.

Proverbs 28:7

Whoever keeps the law is a discerning son, but a companion of gluttons shames his father.

Heavenly Father,
I pray You would satisfy me in the morning, so I may rejoice and be glad all the day! Your love Lord quiets my soul. For in anxiousness we can become gluttonous. Feasting on things of this world, like a people whose belly has no bottom instead of delighting and filling ourselves with You. Help me to understand that the dangers of indulging in sin includes the sin of indulgence. For many Lord have small waist lines but You measure the intent of the heart. One may be physically fit but have a flabby soul, which is evident when the lack of self control leads to gossip, strife, lust, covetousness and anger. Empower us Lord to control our appetites rather than them controlling us. Our craving for the excess of anything, never gratifies but just leaves us empty and void of really living. Father I pray to discern my thoughts and actions, for it is not good nature, nor good nurture that can prove one is wise but by living in obedience to You our God. You have instructed us, bad company corrupts good morals so we should not be deceived. Reveal to us those around us who appear to be upright but are filled with darkness, may we have not fellowship with the workers of iniquities. Father, I pray to only bring You glory and honor. Thank You for sending Your beautiful Son Jesus to cloth me in righteousness. May my robe not be stained by insatiable desire of things of this world. Jesus, lead me and guide me through this day and may my ear be attentive to Your instruction. May I bless Your holy name, Amen.

John 19:29

Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.

May we give unto You Lord Jesus the glory due Your name, worshiping You in the beauty of holiness. I pray Lord all will acknowledge along with the angelic hosts the full wonder of You. Bending our knees and bowing our hearts to You Jesus our Messiah. You are so greatly to be praise. Your voice is full or power and of majesty. Your refusal of wine mixed with myrrh used to dull the pain of crucifixion is another testimony of Your strength and deity. How often Lord we use various vices to dull the pain of the trials of this world. We Lord numb ourselves with drug that are legal or illegal, alcohol, food, shopping, or video games, forgive us for not seeking comfort in You. Again, You proclaimed You are God, You sipped the sour wine to wet Your mouth that was dry to speak the most powerful words clearly for all to hear, "It is finished." The declaration that You had taken all the sins of this world upon Yourself, and yielded up Your life as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable with out spot or blemish to satisfy the wrath of Your Father in heaven. Jesus You are the Savior of the world, the Risen King, great are You our God. You took no shortcuts Lord, so I pray by the power of Your Spirit we would not take any alternative ways, but walk with You through every challenge of this life. Thank You Jesus for the victory. May we continue to testify on Your behalf, bring all glory and honor to You. Lord Jesus, I love You and thank You for loving me so much You died and rose again to pay my ransom and blessing me even more with the gift of eternal life, just because it was Your good pleasure to do so. Amen.

Proverbs 19:1

Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

Heavenly Father,
I pray many will receive the revelation, perverse lips are of a fool. The foolishness of man twists his ways, and although wealth makes many friends, are they faithful confidantes? Open our eyes to see the integrity of those running for the highest office of this nation. Has a man gained his riches by cheating and deception or was it truly by honor and virtue? Father we need You to lead and guide us in the way that is right. Hone the ears of Your children to hear the lies and may we have the ability to discern the truth by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Father, I pray to examine my own heart, so my vote won't be out of greed, fear or the following of the crowd, but for the preservation of what this land was founded on Your word. There are many plans in a man's heart but it is Your counsel Lord that will stand. Father expose the intents of the hearts of those who are leaders or desire to be leaders in the country. We have fallen far Lord, we have offended You in many ways. Forgive us Lord, turn us back to You and the ways that are good and right in Your sight. Help us Lord to clean up the mess we have made, the feasting and gorging on the delicacies of the world must come to an end. Strength us to protect the innocent, to be courageous to right the wrongs and stand strong in our faith not wavering or compromising. May we learn from our past mistakes and reset our course that is pleasing and honoring to You. Lord, You have given us a homeland that flows with milk and honey, may we continually praise and give thanks for the bounty You have provide. May we not neglect to continue to share with those around the world who are less fortunate. Jesus we need You! We cry out to You come Lord Jesus come! Rule and reign in the hearts of every man, women and child, young and old, rich or poor. We are despite for You. Silence the voices of those who are being used by the evil one, may they not be heard. May the sound that is heard around the world be that of Your name being lifted high and exalted. Lead us Lord Jesus, lead us. Amen.

Habakkuk 2:20

"But the Lord is in His holy Temple, let all the earth keep silence before Him."

Forgive us Father for we have forgotten You are holy, and sovereign. You look upon the nations and will hold them accountable. Woe to those who gives drink to a neighbor making him drunk! They are filled with shame instead of glory. Your cup of wrath will one day be poured out for the violence done. The idolatry that begins with deception encouraging even more deception. What profit is the image, that the maker should carve it? He is a teacher of lies. May we Lord be granted the wisdom to reflect on our terrible state. The call to silence is not an invitation to worship, but a call to stand still as a sign of respect. We are a people always boasting of our conquests and power, but our souls Lord are not right within us, we lack regard for You and Your commandments. Such a simple instruction You have given to love You Lord with all our hearts, minds and souls and our neighbor as ourselves. But we don't, not really, not truly, not passionately, and not deeply. Forgive us Lord Jesus. Forgive us Lord for we set our sights on the wrong thing, instead of the "what" that You want. Your desire for us to turn from sin, to be holy as You are holy. To stop the killing of the innocent, to stop indulging in sexual immorality, to be sober, to take care of the widows and orphans, to love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You. To be still and know You are God. To be in awe for the earth is filled with the knowledge and glory of You. Forgive us Lord, for we act as sheep without a shepherd. But a sheep knows Your voice and follows after You. Forgive us Lord for not listening and worse yet not hearing. Daily more and more wander away from Your truth or falling into a deep slumber. You have said arise oh sleeper awake from the dead, have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Always may we seek what is acceptable to You Lord Jesus. Forgive us Lord and pour out a refreshing of Your Holy Spirit, leading and guiding us in all truth for Your glory. In Your mighty and powerful name Jesus, Amen.

John 3:2

This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."

You are my Redeemer, the Lord of hosts is Your name, the Holy One of Israel, Jesus the Messiah, the Risen King, the One I give all thanks and praise. Far to many Lord refuse to believe You are the Only begotten Son of the living God, to their own demise. Nicodemus came to You in the night hours, in the darkness, timidly as not to be seen or judged by the world around him. Did he like so many of us fear the exposing of our sin? Father, I pray for my sisters and brothers who are bound up and held captive by the choices they've made. Professing to know You but walking in their own ways, never really surrendering to You. I'm concerned Lord for the developing of their faith, when pride rules them. The way they flip their noses at You by the actions they take such as walking away from the commitment made when marrying, neglecting the gift of life, their children, You generously entrusted to their care, the seeking of peace through other's religious faith practices instead of resting in You. Oh, Lord turn us from these and other wicked ways. May we all come into the Light of Your presence worshiping You in Spirit and truth. Father many like Nicodemus have flaws in their thinking, Jesus is just a teacher come from God, not understanding that You Jesus are God, not just a representative. It grieves me Lord that many say they love You, yet continually spit on You, mocking and laughing taking for granted Your mercy and grace. Father grant me the boldness to speak truth into the lives that are walking the wide road that lead to destruction. And I thank You Lord for those who continue guide me along the narrow way. I pray Lord to always worship You in spirit and truth for You have made me born again, my old self has been cleansed away and made a new creation in You. You Lord Jesus cannot be fooled because You see what really resides in our hearts. Many Lord follow You for superficial reasons, but blessed are those who seek after You with all that is in them for they shall find You and be transformed by Your amazing love. In Your name Jesus, Amen.

Ecclesiastes 7:9

Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, for anger rest in the bosom of fools.

Father, I pray to be swift to hear, slow to speak and even slower to wrath, because I know this will produce Your righteousness. I admire the wise who can restrain their lips, for their tongues are like choice silver, and when they do speak they feed many. How often I've observed in others who are quick tempered and led to act foolishly. As I examine my own thoughts and actions today, meditating on the emotion of anger and how it plays out in my life I realize it is often turned in on myself. Is this Father to keep from harming others? I've always clung to Your promise "Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them." Yet, I seem to have some repressed anger towards those who are not empathetic towards my chronic illness, those who do not extend patience or neglect my needs. Is this the frustration that causes me to stuff my feeling? I pray Lord Jesus You would help me, guide me and reveal this hidden deception in my thoughts that could possible be hindering complete healing. Father forgive me for I do not desire for anger to be resting in my bosom. I repent Lord Jesus, please wash me clean, Please remove any bitterness all the way down to the root, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit that will cause something sweet to grow that will one day free and nourish another's angry soul. Jesus be lifted high as I praise You for loving me so much to correct my wrongs. Jesus thank You for Your long suffering for me as You mold and shape me into Your desired image. I love You Lord. With a grateful heart Amen.

Matthew 1:21

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.

Oh Father it never grows old, the news of a sinner forgiven and set free. Its never business as usual, or underwhelming, its always a time of celebration and giving glory and thanks. Truly the sweetest moments in life, the angels in heaven rejoicing with us here on earth, splendid! You have completed what You spoke through the prophets, saying "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, "God with us".  And You remain with us by Your Spirit, thank You. As a parent I know I would do anything for the well being and safety of my child, many would, including Mary. She understood who You are, she could have said "Wait, I lied", when they where going to crucify her precious child, but she had the revelation You are God! As painful and heart wrenching that day was for her she knew You would be doing something really great, for it was already hidden in her heart. I too have hidden in my heart the hope and expectation of the salvation of my loved ones and even stranger. Your name is Jesus the Messiah, the risen King! Jesus open the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, and rescue the sinner, do the greatest of miracles, the saving of souls from eternity in hell. Jesus be glorified and magnified in the lives of those who come to repentance. We Your children long for revival. Dazzle the world yet again with Your amazing mercy and grace. Jesus You rule and reign over the kingdoms, nations, cities, towns and villages and appoint the times and seasons. Reveal Your dominion to all the world. You are everlasting, eternal, and enduring Lord of everything, and one day all knees will bow and tongues confess this is true. Jesus, I praise You and give thanks for the day of my own salvation. Amen.

1 Corinthians 4:2

Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.

Dear Heavenly Father,
It is both an honor and privilege to have the rank of a steward. Although we are servants it is vital that we manage the message and ministry that You have appointed us to. All the while remembering to be holy as You are holy. So Father as we set our sights on You, may it be revealed we are a cut above the rest in all areas of our lives; family, finance, fitness and friendships.  How vital it is to not only shine in the inner circles of our lives but to the whole world around us. To what effect is it if we only release our joy inside the four corner of our dwelling place? How much grander to invite those we come in contact with to taste and see You are good. I pray Lord to be an extraordinary steward for the advancement of Your kingdom, bringing hope to the hopeless, peace to the anxious and direction to the lost. May the words of my testimony and actions of my days bear witness of Your love and mercy. Father as I observe those in ministry around me, I'm filled with admiration. Each one Lord serving in the area You have placed them, whether setting up for an event, preparing a meal, a voice in the choir, or the one who vacuums the floor after the celebration has ended. All the while they have joy in their hearts rejoicing because they have done it unto You. In love and sacrifice they are living examples of how Your beautiful Son Jesus lived, humble servant to all and yet a the greatest of stewards, as He has authority over all things. I pray Lord to be found faithful in all aspects of this life You have so graciously given. I know all to well the places I fallen very short. Strengthen me Lord to apply the mastery I've learned in one area to be steadfast in every facet for Your glory. May I live a life pleasing to You, and bring inspiration to others to do the same. Lord Jesus rule and reign in my heart, mind and soul. Amen.

Jeremiah 15:16

Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.

Dear Lord God,
I pray to not depart from the commands of Your lips. but to treasure the words of Your mouth more than necessary food. What is better than thousands of coins of gold and silver? Your instruction. Your word is settled in the heaven, You've established the earth and it abides. Your faithfulness Lord Jesus endures to all generations. The Holy Bible Father is a rock of diamonds, a chain of pearls, and more precious than rubies. As I examine my own heart today, I question do I merely proclaim my love of Your word, or do I live it to the full. When those around me are battling the darkness, does my faith rise to the occasion of intercession on their behalf, or do I allow their grief to overtake me. I pray Lord for Your joy to overwhelm me so it will overflow and kiss those in my life that are enduring great trials. I pray Lord the rejoicing of my heart will be balm to a sister who is bleeding from an unexpected inflicted wound from a loved one. Father grant me the grace and patience to spoon feed Your word to those in my life that have not the strength to nourish their soul because their physical form is ailing. I pray the sharing of my testimony will be Your words that others will feast upon, and they will hear You calling them by name. Father, may the truth of Your scriptures be so satisfy to Your church all around the world that we will not be shaken or moved. May they know we are christian by our love, and the rejoicing in You. Thank You Lord for the promise You will return for Your beloved bride, may we be found ready. In You name Jesus I pray. Amen.

Jeremiah 17:5

Thus says the Lord, "Cursed is the man who trust in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord."

Dear Heavenly Father,
May my hope be found in nothing more than Jesus Christ. You have promised blessed is the one whose hope and trusts in You. They shall be like a tree planted by waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, will not fear when heat comes because its leaves will remain green. Nor be anxious in drought because it will not ceasing in yielding fruit. Thank You Father for the privilege to meet people over the years that are like mighty trees. Like the young couple who lost their chicken farm because they were run out of town for believing in You, and yet they continue on giving thanks. The young boy who has been bullied in school yet declares that You are doing a work in him, The old women who has endured a serious mental illness, but still had joy deep down in her soul. The man who despite disappointment and rejection continues to walk a single life of peace in You. The gentlemen who is so socially awkward, yet is found praising You in church unashamed. Oh, Father there are countless others who have surrendered their plans, dreams and lives to You, not trusting in their own strength, or the strength of others. True hero's and defenders of the faith. You have said "Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help. Whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them." Who keeps the truth forever. Those who execute justice for the oppressed, give food to the hungry and freedom to the prisoner. Bless them Lord with every good and perfect gift from above. You Lord Jesus open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. And You are near to all that call upon You. Father, as I think upon all those over the ages who have remained steadfast in faith, the nameless, faceless people, the saints who one day I pray to be in the midst with gathered around Your throne worshiping and adoring You for all eternity. Yes, Lord this is my one desire to honor You. Amen.

Hebrews 5:14

But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Heaven Father,
Oh, the benefits of leaving the basics to go on to perfection. The maturity of Your children is evident in those who have made a habit of obeying the message of righteousness. If we are only to simple partake of the milk we are like the one who sleeps at the edge of the bed, risking a fall to the floor. But what a blessing to feast on the meat of Your word, allowing it to nourish and grow our faith so it is big and strong. Father I pray for those who have fallen away, because even though they heard the truth and appeared to believe, they eventually reveal their shallow adherence to Your Son. If salt loses it saltiness how does it become salty again? Lord have mercy, forgive them they no not what they do. But as for us Lord may we be continually empowered by Your Spirit to be sober, reverent, temperate, sound of faith, in love and patience, not slanderers, but teachers of good things, admonishing the younger to love their spouse and children, to be discreet, chaste, and obedient to Your word. Father may Your children by found well pleasing by You. I pray Your people will be zealous for every good work! Grant us boldness to exhort and rebuke a brother or sister when they are going a stray with complete understanding this is sincere love. Forgive us Lord for many have taken to slumber, or enjoy the tickling of the ears, the faith muscles of the church have atrophied. This decline of effectiveness is greatly troubling, Lord shake those who sleep, shout repentance in the ears of the complacent. and challenge those who have spiritual weakness. Father fill Your chosen to overflow with the power of Your Spirit not to back down, to be champions of the faith, correcting the wayward church. Restore us Lord Jesus, revive us Lord Jesus, and rebuke us Lord Jesus and lead us to repentance. For Your glory Father, Amen.

Luke 22:32

"But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren."

Dear Lord Jesus,
How merciful and gracious You are. You so lovingly restored Peter even before he denied You. You see and know the heart of every man. You are sovereign and in control of all thing, everything must pass through Your hands. As we face various trials and testing that are ultimately for our good and Your glory, it is far to easy to succumb to self-pity. The excessive, self-absorbed unhappiness over one's own troubles can quickly over take our thoughts and actions. Ah, but the joy of You is our strength. You Jesus are our ever present help in times of need. God You are are refuge may we be found hidden in You. Father, by the power of Your Spirit living in us, may we persevere through this life, even when a spouse walks out, a sister robs from us, a young loved one is called home even when it was strongly believed for Your healing touch. May we continue to praise You, thanking You, and surrendering to You good and perfect will. Even Lord when we can't see where the road is going may we cling to Your side, resting in You, knowing You will lead us to safety. I'm always filled with awestruck wonder when I hear the testimony of those who have gone through grievous trials and have risen victorious in You. They have forgiven, extended mercy and grace where others would have demanded their way. Those who have picked up their cross daily to follow You sparkle and shine encouraging other to fight the good fight, is truly a remarkable sight. Jesus, may we rejoice because You are consistently interceding on our behalf, You the King of the universe praying for the wretches like us. Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen.

Habakkuk 2:20

"But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him."

Dear Father,
You are wholly everywhere, and the hole of You is nowhere. Such knowledge is so high I cannot attain it apart from Your Spirit teaching me. You dwell in the heavens and yet here on earth. You Lord are in Your holy temple, period. You are waiting in patience to judge. Woe to those who make idols and frame them or are praying to lifeless stones. Father, open their eyes to see the reading of the palm and the seeking of their future in the stars is a great offense to You that one day You will righteously judge. Your temple Lord is not made with human hand that we should take any credit for that which Yours have made. We are a people of many words, rushing in with our demands, concerns and petitions all the while never being still before You our great God and King to hear Your good and perfect will for each of us. How awful the sound of our murmuring and complaining, our dissatisfaction with the things in our lives. Help us Lord, as we surrender our will into Your loving care to be molded and shaped in the image of Christ by Your sovereignty that has allowed our current circumstances. Out of reverential fear and submission to You I pray, waiting and depending upon You, as You silence the enemies who have arisen and continue to rise up against Your truth as written in Your Holy Word. Even Your church Lord has gone astray, thinking themselves more highly than they ought, having a form of godliness but denying Your power. Many in the day of judgement will say Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and have done many wonders in Your name. Oh, but I shiver to know You will say "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" Father in Your great mercy, open the eyes of the deceived to see the error of their ways. The secret folly of even the elect will be exposed, those who are lovers of money, lovers of material goods and smooth talkers tickling the ears of those who are just as prideful. Silence the preacher who puff up himself and others. Twisting Your words to lure people astray.  Teach us by Your Spirit as we sit in humble quiet submission, Your ways, and may we always be in awe and wonder of You not perverting the Gospel for personal gain. Jesus be the center of every area and aspect of our lives, and may we be living examples of You to the lost and dying world. All glory and honor are Yours Jesus forever and ever. Amen.

Jonah 1:2

"Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it, for their wickedness has come up before Me."

Jesus, You have stated more than once, an evil and adulterous people seek after a sign, but the only sign given was by the prophet Jonah. Your crucifixion, burial and resurrection was, is and will always be the greatest of miracles, signs and wonders. I pray that all will come to repentance. Just as Jonah went to the city of Nineveh and warned them of their sin, by Your Holy Spirit may we speak to the lost and wicked generation, proclaiming the good news that will save their souls. There are wonders all around us, every day something new to behold, but how arrogant we are to not even notice, or be underwhelmed by Your greatness, forgive us Lord. Far to many think themselves more highly than they ought, and I was the among the worst of them. The mindset that they themselves are god, demanding to be exalted by the world around them. Father, everyone wanting what they want when they want it, living in a state of dissatisfaction rejecting Your Son the only One who can satisfy and restore us to fellowship with You. Jesus please be the center. Far to many Lord have led people away from You by teaching a false gospel. They lie saying we can be healthy, wealthy and wise. Like sheep to the slaughter many follow the way that leads to death.  Father, pour out Your Spirit and anoint the lips of those who truly love You and want to serve You. May the words of our testimony be a blessing of conviction that will save a soul. May we not be ashamed of the gospel that is power of life and death. Father, bring revival across this nation. Jesus be lifted high in every heart. Forgive those who demand a sign for they know not what they do.  Father, I confess I am frighten for when Your judgment comes countless will not be found ready. Your grace Lord is amazing, so may they taste and see You are good. When they heard the truth from Jonah, they heeded the word and turned from their wicked ways and You loving and mercifully withheld Your punishment. Oh Father that the multitudes would fall to their knees and call upon the name above all name, Jesus and be saved. This is Your promise and You are not a liar and shall not be mocked. You are angry with the wicked every day so may we be holy as You are holy. Amen.

Daniel 2:21

And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

Lord I will bless Your Holy name forever and ever. You are wisdom and might. You reveal the deep and hidden things, and You know what is in the darkness. So Father please reveal the things both good and bad in the hearts of the candidates running for the place of highest honor and responsibility in this nation. You Lord are the one who raises up leaders. We need You to guides and instruct us on who is the one worthy of such respect and privilege . Lord we are not worthy of Your favor as we have strayed far from You. Forgive us Lord, correct the errors of our ways and restore us to the way that is right and leads to life. Awake Your children who have fallen into slumber, shake those who are in a stupor and revive the hearts that have grown weary. Hear Lord the prayers of the faithful, who have remained steadfast to Your Word. Strength and empower by Your Spirit the pure of heart that have a strong desire to honor You not only with there lips as a man please, but honor You with all that is is their hearts. Father protect those who You have appointed for such a time as this govern this nation from the smallest of towns to the Capitol. Encamp Your angels around the brave men and women who are the defenders of the faith, go before them granted them favor and guard them from every form of evil. May they speak boldly and with confidence and bless them with wise council. Speak clear direction and encouragement to them in their prayers and as they seek You in the Holy Word. Come Lord Jesus come. We need You! Be glorified in the great land which You have made free. Amen.

John 9:35

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the Son of God?"

I Believe, I believe, I believe You Jesus are the Son of God! Everywhere You went people where amazed at Your miraculous power, each miracle a revealing of Your divinity and Messiahship. But how much more blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe. Lord, those who believe even though they mourn the lose of loved ones, those who even though they are battling illness, even from birth and those who are waiting upon their miracle a touch from You but still boldly declare Jesus is Lord, is an awesome testimony that will one day reap a great reward. Your children will never be put to shame, for You are I AM and who ever calls upon Your name will be saved. For in the beginning was the Word, and You Jesus were there from the start. In You there is life and light that shines in the darkness. There are those Lord that do not comprehend it, open their eyes as You have lovingly done for me and so many before me, so all may believe and worship You alone. Blessed are those Lord who are spiritually poor and know they need You, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the pure of heart, the ones who are uncontaminated by false teachings, worldly desires, and are single minded for they shall see You. We are drawn to redemption by grace in Your eyes, Your love so amazing and divine. Blessed be Your name Jesus, Amen.

2 Corinthians 7:10

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

How often one will say to another, "I'm sorry for making such trouble.", or "Boy, I'm sorry I got caught.", but this is not true sorrowful repentance. This type of apology is just earthy regret that lead to demise. Oh, Father it is pure joy to behold when someone comes to the understanding how sin grieves You. When they are filled with godly sorrow, that causes them to turn from their ways to Yours, is truly the greatest miracle of them all. For Your type of sorrow comes from the revelation we have breached Your holy law. I pray Father Your Holy Spirit would awaken the minds of the deceived, bringing forth an unrest and a knowing they need to find pardon through Your great mercy. Lord I pray today may be the day of salvation for many as the fields are white and ready. How great Father is your plan to restore Your creation to You. How You desire to be in fellowship with us, whom Your hand so lovingly formed. Your kindness should lead us to repentance and our finding rest in the promise as far as east is from the west, so far You removed our transgressions from us. We only need to see the symbol of the cross and imagine Christ's out stretched arms opened wide to embrace and beckon sinners to come home. Father, I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I recall the day of my salvation, the coming out of the darkness and into Your marvelous Light. You having giving me joy that is peace dancing. I love You Jesus the Savior of my wretched soul. Amen.

1 Peter 2:17

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

Dear Heavenly Father,
You are Creator, Supreme, and Everlasting and the One who is to be revered and in awe of. May we give due honor to all people according to their place, station and circumstance, understanding this is Your divine will that was bestowed upon them, whether believers or unbelievers. And may we Lord love the brethren that much more and deeply knowing they are our co-laborers for Your glory. May the special affection we have for our brothers and sister in You be evident to the world around us causing a stirring and curiosity that will lead them to You our great God and King. Help us Lord as sojourners who live in a godless culture distance ourselves from fleshly lusts, earthly values and obsessions, but at the same time may our conduct be so loving and full of integrity that it can win over the hearts of unbelievers as shown by the evidence of You in our lives. May faultfinders be silenced as they observe our submission to You. May our walk of obedience bring about a transforming response in the prideful. Jesus You are my King and I bow my heart to You in humble adoration, praising and thanking You for rescuing me from eternal damnation. Thank You for writing my name in Your book, for walking and talking with me, and telling me I am Your own. In Your gracious name I pray, Amen.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Great are You Lord, and greatly to be praised, I will bless Your name forever and ever. One generation will praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts. Lord You have radically changed all those who have come to repentance and will transform those who are yet to come to the saving knowledge of Your loving sacrifice, so we may be Your special people to proclaim praises of You. May we not dim the Light within us in order to avoid offense. Father empower Your children to not compromise Your truth, Jesus is the only way to You. It is such a beautiful gift, Your plan of salvation, when striving ceases and pride falls because Your love endures to the end of the ages. You Jesus have made a way for all to come to the Father, whether, slave or free, rich or poor, or of any nationality assembling us together as Your Holy Nation. Father may we be blessed with boldness that comes from sincere love to lead people out of darkness into Your marvelous Light. Your Light that never goes out, continually illuminating Your truth teaching us the way to walk the narrow road straight into eternal life. Father forgive us for the times we were timid and hide our faith from the world around us, fearing the mocking or persecution. We were once a people without hope, but Jesus You tore the veil and made a way, so may we rejoice as we serve You our great High Priest. May we serve You with our lives as living sacrifices, to love mercy do justly and walk humble with You. May we set about zealously to do every good work, taking care of the widows and orphans, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and visiting the prisoners. Jesus may Your love abound in Your children more and more. In Your name I pray, Amen.

1 Peter 1:7

...that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ...

Lord Jesus I rejoice with joy inexpressible for though I have not seen You, I love You. Clinging to Your promise even when we are grieved, tried and tested by various trials of life, putting our hope and trust in You, we will receive in the end the salvation of our souls. To live with You for all eternity is an inheritance incorruptible, will not fade away and is reserved for us in heaven, thank You. One day Jesus You will return and who could endure til that day? Who shall stand the day You appear? You are like the refiner's fire who purifies silver and gold causing the pureness to rise through the dross. Father, oh that we should count it all joy when we face these challenging circumstances knowing the end results does not leave us as a people who have a diluted moral and social value, but are actively promoting righteousness through kindness, honesty, integrity, justice and fairness. You have shown and instructed us through the life of Your precious Son, Jesus and empowered us by the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit to overcome that which if we were to succumb to would grieve You. Polishing is essential to a life of holiness, so may we be scrubbed of wrongful intentions, deceit, pretense, jealousy and evil speaking the characteristics that smear and smug our hearts and minds so the truth of Your Holy Word is unseen. Father purge us of all that is not pleasing to You, cleanses us so we are acceptable in Your sight and can be used for Your good pleasure. In Jesus name, Amen.

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart...

Dear Heavenly Father,
May hope and holiness be joined in harmony among Your people. I confess Father sometimes it is much easier to love You whom I've not seen then to love those who I stand face to face with. Father, I pray to love as Your beautiful Son Jesus did, but Father it is not an easy task when it comes to loving a brother who has walked out on his wife of more than 30 years, turning the tables on his young children, its not easy to love the businessman who has ran off with money hard earned and was put aside for the golden years, and its not easy when battling a chronic illness and those whom you lean on for compassion are colder than an arctic ice. But then I'm reminded of the day of Christ Crucifixion when He who is perfect love was mocked and scorned, whipped and stripped and nailed to a tree and I recall it was my sin that put Him there. So Lord may I love as You loved me with out condition, without expectation, and without judgement, just extended grace and mercy to all. Let my mind and heart be pure in the obeying of Your command to love You with all my heart, mind, soul and strength and my neighbor as myself.  Jesus thank You for paying my ransom. I will extol You, my God, O king, and I will bless your name forever and ever. May it be evident in the way I love the unlovable and forgive the unforgivable. Jesus shine through me and be glorified in my words and deeds loving others with Your kind of fervent love that came from a pure heart. In Your name I pray, amen.

1 Peter 3:4

-rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Dear Abba Father,
Forgive us for being overly concerned with our outward adornments, the arranging of hair, wearing of gold and the putting on of fine apparel, which in today's culture is just as much a male preoccupation as a female endeavor. Lord forgive us, we truly know not what we do. Father our desire to be pretty or handsome in Your sight must come from the understanding You see the deep hidden place within our souls. Man's eye can not behold what Your eyes so keenly discern within each of us. I pray we will all make a way, a space within our hearts to invite You Jesus to take up residency lighting Your lamp so You may shine brilliantly through us in all quietness and meekness. So therefore Lord may our outward appearance be consistent with Your inward dwelling of the Holy Spirit. As we put our hope and trust in You Lord, may we observe Your transformation power bringing to the surface of us Your peace and gentleness. May we Father be as a soft breeze in the lives of others, gently soothing their aches, and brokenness. May our words Lord flow graciously from our lips out of the wellspring of our hearts encouraging those who have stumbled and fallen to rise again and keep going . May our manner of politeness be a sharp contrast to the world that tramples over all to be first. Oh Father that we should desire the precious and sweet things of Jesus, in all lowliness, purity, humility and modesty, oh what a world it would be. Search me Lord and see if there is any wicked way in me, so it may be removed never to hinder Your Spirit again. Jesus Your beauty is incorruptible and eternal. Thank You for cleansing me from sin and creating me anew. I love You, Amen.

2 Peter 1:3

...as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue..

Dear Jesus, thank You for You continual help in the area of our spiritual growth by the indwelling of Your Spirit. Your desire for us to remember everything we need for life and godliness is ours through Your power and through a diligent reading and heeding of Your Word. May we be wise Father to turn from those who cause discord, raise doubt and create havoc within Your church body. I pray Lord Jesus for my brothers and sisters who are skeptical of the current pressures they are under will cease, may they take time to consider Your promises. May they write them out, memorize and ponder them in their hearts, claim them and pray them back to You. All the while being transformed by the renewing of their minds. Oh, Lord You are an awesome and wonderful God we serve. May we give all diligence to our faith adding to it virtue, knowledge and self-control as to keep us strong to persevere. Father help us to understand in the act of perseverance we are being refined in godliness which leads us to brotherly kindness and ultimately pure love. Father I pray we will abound in these things and we will never be barren or fruitless in the knowledge of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. May grace and peace be multiplied to Your faithful children and their children for generations to come. Let us rejoice in the revelation that Your divine power is an inexhaustible resource that gives Your people everything needed to live an obedient, godly life. May all glory, honor and praise be Yours Jesus forever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 1:13

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father,
I pray we do not confuse holiness with morality. Understanding that morality is outward conformance to a set of standards, but holiness is the inward transformation, the cleanliness of our soul's as we submit to live in obedience to Your will. By the power of Your Holy Spirit we can exercise self-control, a wonderful fruit of Your Spirit. Disciplining our minds to be sober in our thoughts and actions. I pray we would not be inebriated with the cares of this life that choke out Your word, and make it unfruitful. May we be self-denying and on guard to temptation, foolish and hurtful lusts and let us not be intoxicated by false doctrine that lulls us to sleep, rendering us incapable of serving You and Your church. I pray Lord that we would abstain from being enthralled by fables that are contrary to Your words of truth. Father thank You for the revelation of Your Son Jesus Christ, who through His sacrifice gave an electing grace, redeeming grace and justifying grace, adopting grace, so none of us can boast in the work that we have done. Open the eyes of those who still live groping in the darkness, and cleanse the eyes that are haughty and think more of themselves than they ought. Father thank You that we may rest fully upon Your grace, unearned, unmerited but lovingly bestowed upon us. Lord may I live a life pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. Adhering to Your teachings, honoring You not only with my lips but my whole heart as well. In Jesus name, Amen.

James 3:17

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Who is wise and understanding among us? May they be revealed by good conduct that is done in the meekness of wisdom. Let those Lord who have bitter envy and are self-seeking in their own hearts be silent, not boasting or lying against the truth. Help us to understand this type of wisdom is earthly, sensual and demonic because where there is jealousy and selfishness, confusion and every evil thing exist. Lord, I pray each of us would take time to examine our own hearts. And let wisdom not be something we just possess in our minds but lived out in our everyday behavior. May we love without hypocrisy, and may we loathe that which is evil, always clinging to what is good, and that is You, dear Jesus. May we Lord, by the power of Your Holy Spirit be kindly affectionate with brotherly love, remembering to honor, in a way that gives preference to one another. May we serve You with all diligence while rejoicing in hope and patience through tribulations. I pray Lord your children continue steadfast in prayer, being hospitable and caring for the needs of the brethren. Father may we cultivate humility which is the underlining character that brings forth wisdom. Father, it is said when looking to purchase real estate look for location, location, location, so when we desire to be wise, let us begin by being humble, humble, humble, for obedience is the best prospect for attaining a heavenly inheritance. Jesus be the center of all that we do and say. Be glorified in and through our lives, transforming us from the inner, so we are less of us and more of You. Amen.

Mark 5:34

And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. "Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction."

How often Father we spend much time and money to feel better, and often feel worse. We go from physician to physician, some we like their advice or treatment, while others we don't. But truly Lord I'm grateful for those You have called in to the ministry of healing. I pray that Your wisdom and knowledge of this beautiful world, You have so lovingly created, would lead and guide them to unlock the many mysteries of diseases. I pray that many advancement will continue to be made in this coming year. The answers to research that has been painstakingly slow for many years would now be revealed. Holy Father I pray for those who day after day battle various afflictions, and haven't the strength or determination to keep seeking, asking and knocking for relief from their constant pain. I pray they will press through the crowds of people who boldly enter Your throne room with request, may they receive the healing they so desire and go out in peace. Jesus, You do not heal us because we are wealthy, acclaimed, or even loyal, but just as You said to the women with the issue of blood "Daughter, your faith has made you well." You heal us because we have faith in You and the finished work of the cross. Jesus You are Messiah, the risen One. But, yes many do get healed without giving glory to You, but that is still Your providential healing. And perhaps even Your amazing grace to allow them more time to come to the saving knowledge of You, for it is not Your will that any should perish but all come to repentance. You are such a wise and loving Father, Thank You for opening my eyes early on so I may walk and talk with You, seeking healing, refuge, guidance and blessings from Your loving hand. That beautiful pierced hand of our beloved and precious Son Jesus Christ the Light of the world. In His name I give thanks and praise. Amen.

1 Peter 1:6

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Oh Father, I confess sometimes I think I murmurer more than rejoice, forgive me. I confess at times I am grieved by trials and the testing of my faith that seems more than I can bear. I pray that my faith will be found praising, honoring and glorifying You, dear Jesus. Just as You were with the Apostle Paul in the shipwrecks I know You are with me as my vessel is battered on the inside by sickness. I know it is Your supernatural power and grace that carries me through the day. Great is Your faithfulness Lord. I hold fast to the truth one day You shall return on clouds with eyes like fire, there will be no more tear and no more suffering. Jesus, I pray that even though I have yet to see You face to face, my love, belief and trust in You would lead others to desire a relationship with You. I pray that in my hope in You, even though weakness and frailty are displayed in my physical form will give others hope. Oh, Lord I do rejoice because You have saved me from an eternity of torment, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth and the worm never dies. I look forward to the day to be in my new glorified body dancing with You my blessed Savior, Amen.

Isaiah 35:2

It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the excellency of our God.

Sometimes Father it is so challenging to imagine when we are in the desert place of life that there is beauty there. Those seasons of financial fruitlessness, loneliness even in the midst of relationships, the barren employment field of no opportunities that are desperately needed or healing that has been restricted and doesn't come. But when we fix our eyes above the hills that seem so hard to climb, looking to You our ever-present help in times of need, You are there. We truly will see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. Father, by the power of Your Holy Spirit strengthen the weak hands and make firm the feeble knees. Say Lord to those who are fearful in their hearts, be strong, and do not fear! The knowledge of You Jesus our Savior is coming, and justice will be restored in every area of life. Let us rejoice when a stranger leaves a bag of groceries on the front step, an acquaintance greets us with a warm hug, an unexpected refund check appears in the mailbox, or a warm bath is drawn to ease the pain that is relentless. Father, open our eyes to appreciate even the smallest of gifts; the simplicity of mealtime that is satisfied by laughter of loved ones, even if what is on the plate is a pauper's portion, or when the career path takes a sharp turn back down the ladder of so-called success, but the new co-workers are delightful and encouraging. Help us Lord to have compassion for others who are in bleaker situations then we ourselves are experiencing, for we are the buds that You will cause to bloom in the deserts of other lives. May the love we have found in You be the sweet aroma in another's situation bringing with it a renewed sense of hope. May we be glad even in our wilderness and wastelands because You are always with us. May we remember Father to pursue peace, and holiness not allowing the root of bitterness to spring up among or in us. Father, I pray for Your faithful servants who are enduring great trials in their commitment to the spreading of the Gospel. May Your Holy Spirit within them give them peace even when they are tortured, scourged and imprisoned. Father may their selfless sacrifice be first and foremost in our minds when our flesh want to rise us and murmur and complain. Father, please encamp Your mighty angels around those who are in dangerous and life threatening situations, may they be victorious in ever battle. Jesus, bless those who boldly and unashamedly live to glorify You. Be their refuge and strength. In Your powerful name I pray. Amen.

Job 10:12

You have granted me life an favor and your care has preserved my spirit.

Heavenly Father,
Many trials have come and gone. Looking back over our lives its easy to see Your loving hand at work transforming us, conforming us in to the image of Your beautiful Son. Your providence continually involved with Your creation. You preserve and govern over us from the least to the greatest to be in accord with Your good and perfect will, bringing glory to You. I marvel at the thought, not one human sinner or demonic power will succeed in rebellion against You but all will come under Your submission and authority. One day every knee will bow and tongue confess "Jesus is Lord". You are triumphant! Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, all praises to You, God of glory, majesty and wonder. May we not trust in our own hearts, but by the power of Your Spirit may we trust in Your truth that lead, guides and assists us in the way the is right. May we not be swept away by superstitions, the irrational awe of the unknown. May our tendency to be too ready to believe something is true, be restored to balance and order. Father let us not be naive of the claims that are made about mysterious religious teachings or supernatural phenomena, may we not be spiritually gullible but grant us wisdom as we test the spirit to see whether they are of You. You have warned us that many false prophets have gone out into the world. Ah, but every Spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. May we be mindful Lord of those who don't confess this truth that they are the spirit of the Antichrist, which You have told us is coming and is now already here. You Lord Jesus always overrule the evil intentions of every fallen creature. With humble adoration I acknowledge You have so lovingly granted my life favor to see the errors in my thinking, the transgressions I have done and the thoughts that have often lead me far from You, but Your care has preserved my spirit and drawn me to repentance. Thank You Lord for Your promise that You who has started a good work in me and will see it to completion until the day of Your return. Father open the eyes of the brethren to seek You in Your word, open their ears to discern the talk of charlatans who have a willfully erring mouth and are among us. Those who wink their eyes, shuffles their feet, point with their fingers and have stubbornness in their hearts. For there are six thing Father You hate, and seven are an abomination to You. A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness that speaks lies, and one who sows discord among the brethren. Oh Lord have mercy, change the hearts of the deceived, and protect the tender lambs of Your flock, that truly desire for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name, Amen.

Matthew 10:29

Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from Your Father's will.

The thought Lord that You know even the number of hairs on my head, speaks volumes of how You know me so intimately, and the plan You have for my life. Therefore Your reminder to not fear because You have said I'm more value than many sparrows. The sweet birds chirp and sing praises to You, but You have given me words to confess You before men, women and children. With a grateful heart I do want to, and rejoice knowing You will confess me before the Father. Lord You are sovereign, in control of all things and how haughty we can be thinking we are supreme in anyway. Jesus You have so plainly taught, a disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. The day will come when the loftiness of men shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of them shall be brought low. You alone will be exalted in that day, and idols will be utterly abolished. You say to the righteous that it will be well with them, and they shall eat fruit of their doing. Oh, Father, but woe to the wicked. Father, I pray for discernment, to know clearly the teachers who lead and cause err and destroy the way of Your path. Keep me Lord on the narrow road that lead to life everlasting.  Father I may not know what my future holds, but I know You are the one who holds it. Whether in sickness, or health, poverty or plenty, joy or sorrow You are my betrothed Jesus and I know You will never leave me. May the word of my mouth and meditation of my heart always be acceptable in Your sight, my Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Amen.

Matthew 26:41

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing but the flesh is weak.

Dear Holy Father,
May I take heed to Your word. As I observe all around me, my fellow sisters and brothers are in the midst of great trials. Their spouse have strayed, their children have rejected Your teaching and are rebellious against You. Others themselves have fell prey to seducing spirits that have enticed them into sexual immorality, while others have succumbed to feeding their material desires, and have compromised their integrity. How easy it is to become a participant in transgression against You. One only needs to take off the belt of truth for an instant and the breastplate of righteousness falls to the ground. It grieves me Lord, for the ones who removed truth from their lives causes a chain reaction in others. Father, I pray for those who are delighting in their sin, taking advantage of Your grace, to understand how they pushed, shoved and tripped their loved ones to fall into bitterness, anger, fear and un-forgiveness by their selfish acts. Father, by Your Spirit break them and call them to repentance so that the generations to come will not have the impact of consequences of their decisions. May marriage be restore, financial accounting be rectified and businesses returned to steadfast adherence to that which is right. Father, I pray the Gospel of Jesus would continue to spread across the globe, but especially here in this nation, for we have slumbered and many have fallen into temptation. Forgive us Lord for we are weak, and need Your Spirit to strengthen us. Your mercy Lord is from everlasting to everlasting, and Your righteousness to our children's children. We must remember this truth, Your mercy is for those who fear, love and revere You as King of kings and Lord of lords. For there is therefore now no commendation to those who are in You Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Father quicken in our minds and hearts to see clearly how we are living, realizing the works of the flesh are evident in the forms of adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresy, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries and the like; which You have told us beforehand, those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom. May we not take lightly these words of warning, but come to You in all humility asking forgiveness and being wash cleaned by the blood of the Lamb. Father, we need You to protect us from the wolves in sheep's clothing that are teaching doctrines of demons and come from a different spirit. Quicken in Your children discernment that we may be watchful, ready in season and out to do the work of evangelist fulfilling the ministry call to spread the good news. In Your name Jesus I pray. Amen.

Matthew 26:45

He went a little further and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will."

Jesus Messiah, You are the One the Father has anointed and appointed heir in all things, through whom He also made the worlds. You are the brightness of His glory and the expressed image of His person. You Jesus who are so much better than the angels, sitting down at the right hand of Majesty on high. All the angels of God worship You. And the four winged creatures do not rest but say night and day "Holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"  Father I pray to be found saying "Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Jesus who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!" because You have so lovingly open my eye to stand in awe of His great sacrifice. Jesus, You who knew absolutely no sin, none at all, for You are pure and holy made Yourself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant and coming in the likeness of man and this is the part that overwhelms me with a divine gratitude, humbled Yourself to the point if death on the cross. Taking my sin, my filthy wrecked sin, and paid the price for me. You asked the Father to keep You who are sinless, and righteous not to have to receive sin of this world that is so vile, but with total obedience to the Father You submitted. You became a curse for us, and took the brunt of Gods righteous wrath.  With a broken and contrite heart I bow in awe and adoration confessing You Jesus Christ are Lord. My words seem so tiny in comparison to the great gift You so freely gave. Blessed be Your name Jesus who conquered the grave! Praise and glory to You our King! I love You Lord. Amen.

Isaiah 12:3

Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Dear Lord,
May the vocal acknowledgement of Your wonders and works cause remembrance of You among Your people. May it also testify to those who are yet to come to the saving grace of You the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who are in the desert places perhaps even considering the thought You have deserted them, may they drink with joy from the well, remembering the day of their deliverance. You have promised You will never leave us nor forsake us. The joy of Your salvation is our strength. For Yah, the Lord is my strength and song. Jesus our Messiah, You have always demonstrated the right response to Father God. And one day we will see it lived out in all creation. The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together. The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den. There shall not be destruction in all Your holy mountain, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of You. Oh, glorious day! Your resting place shall be glorious. Father I pray we would think on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report, also on that of which is virtuious and praiseworthy until the day of Christ return as He is all these things and so much more. I pray today to purpose in my heart not to defile myself on any of the delicacies of this world just as Daniel resolved in his heart long, long ago. By the power of Your Holy Spirit empower us to walk in Your will and ways all the days of our lives so we may bring glory to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

1 Corinthians 5:7

Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened.

Dear Jesus, the Christ who is our Passover Lamb, You who sacrificed for us. So that we may live not with the old leaven of sin that comes in the form of malice and wickedness. Not returning evil for evil, not being vicious to those who have harmed us in anyway, but remembering above all, to love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. May we live by Your outstanding example. Oh Father that we should be fervent in charity towards each other. Using the gift of hospitality to minister to others as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Father I pray that if any of us speak let it be as oracles of You, glorifying Your beautiful Son Jesus, or let us not speak at all. For it is difficult to bridal ones tongue, but a true blessing when we do. May our lips only sing praises to You, who has dominion forever and ever. May we be new lumps of love as my dear old neighbor used to say. Lord examine my heart, see if there is any wicked way in me. The thought of even having even a tiny pinch of leaven in me spreading throughout my entire spirit contaminating that which You so mercifully have cleansed, grieves me. Father let each of us repent of the things in our lives that pollute Your church. One of us may be guilty of sexual immorality, but the congregation sits in guilt of ignoring the man's disobedience in failing to hold them accountable. Forgive us Lord, and grant us the word to speak in truth, love and tenderness to restore the brethren to You. Jesus we need You, and our hearts desire is to honor You in all areas of our lives. Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit to lead, guide and use us to bring glory to You our great God and King. In Your name Jesus, the name above all names, Amen.

Jeremiah 33:3

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do know.

Heavenly Father, You have promised those who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of You, Almighty. You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.  Even when my heart is breaking over the news of a loved ones diagnosis of cancer, I can be still and know You are God. Because You have set Your love upon me. I call out to You my Savior, Healer, Redeemer and Friend asking with expectation that You will answer. For You know Your thoughts towards us, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us a hope and a future. I pray for my loved one to seek You with their whole heart for You are the Lord our Righteousness. Father pour out Your mercy and grace, health and healing and reveal to us Your abundance of peace and truth. Thank You Lord for every person You have called to be a doctor, nurse or researcher of diseases. May they be used by You our great Physician blessing their hands, minds and hearts as they minister to the sick. Bring an increase wisdom and knowledge as to how to battle and have victory in every area of wellness. Restore to those who have had the locus of infirmity devour their livelihood, disabling them in suffering and pain. Lift the yoke of doubt, resting in the truth that they are in Your loving care. Father bless those who are loving care givers whether they are a family member or paid employee. Strengthen the church to continually walk along side those who have great physical need. Bless You children by the power of Your Holy Spirit to behold Your miraculous healing, for You are the same today as You were yesterday. May You be glorified and lifted high in every situation. You Jesus are the only One worthy of all our praise. Thank You Lord for Your gift of eternal life and knowing that one day we will be in the place of no more suffering and You shall lovingly wipe away every tear. In Your precious name Jesus, Amen.
