Nehemiah 8:10

The he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to the Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Dear Lord Jesus, You who are a shield for me. My glory and the One who lifts my head. I cried out with a loud voice and You hear me. You graciously hear from Your holy hill. Oh that Your children should rejoice feeding on Your word, drinking in Your Spirit so sweet. May we share Your goodness given to us with those who have not yet received the offering of salvation through Your sacrifice, dear Jesus. We confess that far to often we build walls, carrying spears and swords trying to defend ourselves from the enemy that attacks our hearts, mind and physical form, but You Lord are our protector and defender. Bless You for You are our strength, and place of safety. As we rest our weary heads upon Your loving kindness we are filled with unending joy and incredible peace. I thank You Lord that as we delight ourselves in You, You bless us with the deepest desires of our hearts. Father, the deepest desire of my heart is for my unsaved loved ones, may they know the truth that will set them free. Also for Jesus to be lifted high and glorified in their lives, today and forever more. May the sorrow and mourning I feel way down in my soul for the lost, hurting and broken be turned in to great pleasure knowing You have come to set the captive free, heal the sick and bind up the broken hearts, for You Jesus are the same yesterday as today and will be tomorrow. May the gift of the spoken word of truth be wrapped in Your amazing love, mercy and grace, to be openly received into those whom You have called. May the resounding sound of Amen! Amen! be heard to the highest heaven. May the lifting up of hands and the bowing of their heads to the ground be the visual act of worship to You our Lord and King. May the men and women and all those who can hear with understanding, rejoice for they have heard the word of the law. Today Lord as I open my Bible, may I stand and bless You Lord Jesus, the great God, in Your name I pray, Amen.

Matthew 10:6

Behold I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your promise; blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. May our delight be in You. May we heed the words of caution, to be wise as a serpents and gentle as a doves. Protect Your children who are exposed to hatred and violence. May we walk calmly with the power of Your Holy Spirit to overcome the Fowler who tries to ensnare us. Open our ears and eyes to those within the flock who seem as tender as sheep but are wolves amongst us desiring to lead us astray. May we be strong in the power of Your might Lord Jesus, putting on the full armor You have blessed us with. The helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shield of faith and sword of the Spirit so we may stand against the wiles of the devil. Bring quickly to our recall in every situation and challenge we face, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, the rulers of darkness of this age and against spiritual hosts of wickedness. May our feet be shrouded in Your peace wherever we may roam. Father I pray all will delight in Your word, meditating day and night on Your goodness, faithfulness and wisdom. Bless us with Your Spirit to live in purity and innocence causing our roots to go down deep, like tree planted by the rivers of water. Jesus I pray, may we bear fruit in the various seasons of our life to bring glory and honor to You our wise and gentle King. Thank You Lord for leaning Your ear to hear my prayers for my family, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ who love You dearly. May Your name Jesus be lifted high, Amen.

Jeremiah 32:39

I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them.

Dear Heavenly Father,
One heart and one way You have lovingly inscribed on our souls. No longer shall we turn to exotic ideas. Father I pray for the people who for years have wandered far from You, by the power of Your Holy Spirit transform their hearts to have a sincere and concentrated purpose. Restore them to a wholehearted relationship with You our Creator. May we all be willing to realign our thoughts and desires towards You the One true God. May we serve You with complete and pure devotion. Silence the foreign gods of power, prestige and popularity that call out to us every day. You Lord search our hearts and understand all the intents of our thoughts, so may we seek Your truth and we shall find it to follow You all our days. May we not be the ones who have forsaken You and You in turn shall cast off forever. I pray Lord all will consider this warning, and chose to answer Your call. You who have chosen us to build a house for the sanctuary of Your Spirit so shall we be strong and do it. Lead us in the way we should live, cleanse us to be a proper dwelling place for Your Holy Spirit. Bless You Lord for making an everlasting covenant with us, that You will not turn away from doing good for us. Thank You for putting fear in my heart so I will not depart from You. Thank You Lord for bringing all the good You have promised not only prosperity that blesses us with hot running water, roofs over our heads and food to nourish our bodies but Your perfect peace that warms us from within. Hold Your children close as they look to You for wisdom and protection. Bless them to live in one accord, rejoicing and lifting up holy hands praising You our great God and King. May a great shout of Hallelujah! resound around the world as all those who are of single-heart are knit together in the bonds of love. I love You Jesus for it is only You my heart desires. In Your perfect name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.

O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; and all we are the works of Your hands. Therefore Father let us behold each other as we look and see marvelous are Your works. A marvelous work and wonder are the people Your hands have formed from the dust of the ground and You have filled with the breath of life. Father, I am a marred vessel in Your palm, I surrender my will to yield to Your desire to create me into a good jar that is pleasing to You. Bless You Jesus for in You I am a new creation, my old self has passed away, gone forever! As I've passed through fiery challenges of life, have been press on all sides, and stretch beyond my comprehension I rejoice because You have never abandoned me, but watchfully waited for the perfect time for me to be used to pour out Your living water for those who are in the dessert places of their lives. Thank You Lord for the gift of observation as I watch others growing in their faith, becoming strong, courageous and amazing vessels to be used for Your honor. Father, I pray for those who are still resisting Your loving touch and transforming power. May they not be afraid to lay down the ways that have lead to emptiness, dissatisfaction, and unquenchable longing for peace. You Lord have so much more and only You can give it. May they run in to Your loving arms just as they are, knowing You have sent Your only Son to pay their ransom. Lord smooth out our rough edges, and glaze us with Your Holy Spirit to reflect Your brilliance for all the world to see. Thank You Lord for Your amazing love, tender but strong hand, Your mercy and grace, and the inner knowing we have done nothing to deserve such a gift. This little pot prays, here Lord is my handle and here is my spout, I hope I am ready for You to pour me out. I love You Lord Jesus and patiently wait for my time to be taken down off the shelf and be used to serve others by the power of Your Holy Spirit dwelling in me. In Your name I give thanks and pray, Amen.

John 13:15

For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

This morning Lord I lift my hands in praise and give thanks to You my God and King! You are great and greatly to be praised! You Lord Jesus being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal to God, but made Yourself of no reputation. You took the form of a bondservant, and came in the likeness of men. You are the One who voluntarily serves others. Selah. I'm am awestruck over the fact You humbled Yourself, became obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross. You have taught, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. In this world that says we need to be the best, top and can boast of achievements, but in truth the ones You always bring to my attention are the simple servants who never even realize the great ways they have touch others. As I think on the young boy who found a twenty dollar bill and gave it away to change a mans life. A soldier who gave his metal of honor for bravery to a young boy with Muscular Dystrophy, the 200 people that show up at a lonely autistic child's birthday party, or the young teen who freely forgave those who bulled her. I see Your face! Father, I pray that Your Spirit would move deep within me to be Your hands and feet to touch lives quietly with sincere humility, with no agenda or motive other than to bring glory and honor to the holy name of Jesus. May You be lifted high today, in our words, actions and deeds. I pray we will do all things without complaining and disputing, so we can become blameless and harmless children of our God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. May we hold fast to the word of life so we may rejoice in the day of Your return. Knowing and believing the day is near when every knee shall bow and tongue confess Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of our Father in heaven. So may our labors Lord not be in vain but to do Your will and good pleasure. In Your powerful name, the name above all names Jesus, Amen.

Luke 11:17

But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls.”

Dear Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your great name. Only You Lord understand my thoughts afar off. And are acquainted with all my ways. You hedge me behind and before. May I rejoice for You have laid Your loving hand upon me. May we remember the gift You have so graciously given, the in filling of Your Holy Spirit. As I have struggled to train my body, much inner conflict has ensued. Much of the care I have done in attending to my physical needs I've done my own way which has been counter to what Your Spirit has spoken when leading and guiding me. It is no wonder that for far to long I've been exhausted and drained, my house has been divided and is ready to collapse. Lord You have created me fearfully and wonderfully. Marvelous are Your works. I often run from the sight of my frame, but it is never hidden from You. The beautiful eyes that see my substance has said everything He has made is very good. That includes me. I surrender my will in to Your care, asking forgiveness over the times I thought I could take care of this temple better than the great I AM. Father, I lift up to You all those who struggle with outward appearance, while a battle rages within. Halt the enemies voice who whisper things contradicting Your perfect truth. May Your peace be on those who battle eating disorders, drug and/or alcohol addictions, self mutilation, and obsessive compulsive disorders may they find rest in Your loving arms. Rebuild lives broken by the inner turmoil that has caused them to fall. I pray Father, Your people will hold ever thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Father even though we walk in the flesh I pray for all to understand we do not war according to the flesh. Thank You for our weapons that are found in Your word and are mighty in pulling down strongholds in our minds that are holding us prisoner. I pray we would cast aside every argument in our minds that wants to exalt its self against You. May Your children have victory over every area of life today by the power of Your Holy Spirit. In the mighty and awesome name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the risen One. Amen.
