John 19:41

Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.

Our Father in heaven, hollowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Blessed be Your name Jesus. In the beginning You created Adam and Eve. And in the garden where they walk with You in the cool of the day their pride caused them to sin. Bringing with it separation from You. Jesus You have said, "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if dies, it produces much grain". You lovingly created this world to be in a fellowship with it, and is still Your delight. So You lovingly bore our sins on the cross, yielding up Your precious life for mine, for all. They then laid You in a new tomb, where no death, decay or wickedness ever inhabited. Your beauty and deity never to dwell with corruption. As I look upon the small garden in my yard, I observe how the a single seed goes into the dark ground and the come forth in the most vibrant of life, in all splendor. This is a sweet reminder of the glorious day You sprung forth to new life, being raised from the dead in victory. The only Son of the Father, like the seed, died to produce many sons and daughters. You Jesus forever alive, overcoming the grave and extending Your loving kindness and forgiveness to all who believe You are the Messiah. Forgive me Lord for my words are lacking in expressing the majestic wonder of You. I stand in awe. Sadly to some this truly remarkable miracle is nonsense but to those who believe and trust, it is life eternal. So I pray this morning Lord You would gracious open the eyes of the blind to see You for who You really are the King of king, Lord of lords, the great I Am, the Alpha and Omega, the Lion and the Lamb, the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Risen One, Emmanuel, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Branch and the Savior of the world. Thank You, for reconciling me to You. I love You Lord Jesus and may Your praise be forever on my lips. Amen.

Hosea 10:12

Sow for yourself righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Oh Father how depended I am on You. Your name is memorable, You are the Lord, God of hosts. By Your might Lord, return us to that which is right. To live in observance of mercy and justice. May we continually wait on You, Lord. Forgive us Lord and reestablish morality in this society as well as those around the world. May my voice be the like the one crying out in the wilderness for all to turn from their wicked ways and seek You with our whole hearts, for there is where we will find peace and rest. Father, please remind us that You alone are God Most High who will bring this troubled Nation to repentance so Your blessings will not be postponed, but be restored. Lord, may social justice, righteous, mercy and loyalty be what springs forth by the breaking up of the fallow ground in our hearts. Oh Lord that we would love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You. Father, how I ache for those who have lost loved ones in all the recent brutal attacks, I pray You would send Your precious Holy Spirit to comfort them. Heal those who grieve Lord, Touching the wounds deep within so they may have joy again. Lord, I understand their lives will never be the same again, so I pray they will be able to have an extra measure of Your grace to forgive. Jesus shine Your Light into the darkness to expose all of it's depravity. Give us clean hand and a pure heart. Wash us Jesus in Your cleansing blood so we may live to be the peace makers. Blessed we will be to be called Your children. Lord Jesus in You we put our hope and trust knowing You are the Alpha and Omega. May Your name Jesus be lifted high. Come Lord Jesus come, have mercy on the wretched world. Amen.

Luke 3:11

He answered and said to them, "He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise."

May it be this day Lord Jesus that my testimony, my voice is the one that calls out in the wilderness of another's life. May every path be made straight, valley filled with Your amazing love and grace. May every mountain of sin and hill of doubt be brought low. May all crooked thinking and rough emotion be smoothed by your grace. Oh, Father that all flesh should see the salvation given through Your beautiful and faithful Son, Jesus Christ. The wilderness is a strange place to give a vineyard. And bitterness transformed into a door of hope. But You have given Your life so we may have it more abundantly. May we bear much fruit Lord, worthy of repentance. Who we are connected to in genealogy or who we know will not grant us favor with You, God. No amount of works will earn our way into Your loving heart. Ah, but the simple confession of our sin, the seeking of Your sweet forgiveness and the receiving of Your mercy is the divine creating us new. Father, I pray this morning to extend forgiveness to others, especially to those who have hurt me the most. The ones who do not seem worthy to receive such a gift. Oh that I should recall the day of old when I was just that one. Let me not hold onto two garments while one is in need to be warmed by love. May I not withhold food when others need the nourishment of truth. Freely You Jesus have given to me, so may I freely give to others by the power of Your Holy Spirit. I thank You Lord for the transforming of my mind, resulting in change of action towards those around me. May my deeds of this day bring about the gift of repentance, the blessing of salvation. For Your glory and honor Jesus. Amen.

Luke 1:45

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told to her from the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and praise. Your solid foundation stands having a seal. You Lord know those who are Yours so may everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. I thank You Lord that through repentance of my sins I have received an intimate relationship with You. So I thank You Lord for the gift of Your Holy Spirit living in me who tells the things to come. Father I believe You will fulfill all that You so lovingly promised. And I look forward with great excitement to see Your glory come forth and be made manifest. May my soul and the souls of my loved ones magnify You as we rejoice in You our God and Savior. I thank You Lord for when You come into someones life things are never the same but far greater. I thank You Lord for fighting and protecting me and all Your precious children. I thank You Lord Jesus for in You I have found rest and blessed assurance of your promises. Father, I pray for those who have yet to be transformed by Your mercy and grace, may today be the day it is fulfilled in there lives to be reborn. Blessed am I for I believe in You Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. I shall turn my eyes upon You Jesus and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of your glory and grace. Amen.
