Luke 9:60

Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."

Heavenly Father, It is challenging at times for us to count the cost to be an aspiring disciple. We have so many family responsibilities. Forgive us for being slow, meditative, and contemplative instead of trusting where the Holy Spirit leads. Great is Your faithfulness so help us to have clear priorities. When calls Your heart may we be quick to respond so You may use us to bring about reconciliations, deliverances and miracles that can only come from You Almighty God. We desire to see Your manifest glory on the earth to set captives free by the truth of the Gospel. May we follow You dear Jesus wherever You so lead without fear or reservation. Grant us enthusiasm that come from Your Spirit alone. Truly it is hard to lose loved ones, so make us to bear witness telling of the blessed assurance we have to others who are sad, encouraging them they will see their loved ones again. For those in Christ will receive the gift to be together for all eternity. Father pour out Your comfort on those who mourn, as grief can be a harsh teacher, please remind us every day is a blessing from above. May we not get bitter for soon enough we shall rejoice as joy comes in the morning. May You see Lord our commitment to You is serious and may we be found devout. Not to religious activity but with a pure heart that is in a relationship with You, the King of the Universe the One who sweetly calls us friend.  May our love for You draw the hurting heart, restoring hope. Lord Jesus thank You for Your loving kindness and tender mercies. May singing Your praises continually to be on our lips as we give You all the honor. In Your matchless name we pray, Amen.

John 4:39

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all that I ever did."

You Lord God Most High know all that I ever did and great if Your faithfulness to forgive. Jesus You are the Savior of the world, period.  Father I come to You today in thanksgiving and praise of the souls You have already saved but Father there truly are very many more walking in darkness yet to see Your marvelous light. So I ask Lord for an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to once again open blind eyes, deaf ear and soften harden hearts as Your children bear witness and testify of Your great love and mercy. I pray Father many will taste and see You are good. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You and pour forth like streams in the desert to the parched in need of a drink. May the refreshing of Your servants bring about revival in this land. Turn back the darkness and restore Your church to shine again for Your glory. Father grant us boldness in this hour to shout it from the mountains "Great is our God and greatly to be praise! Jesus is the Messiah, the risen Christ. There is no other way to You Father but through Your amazing Son Jesus." I thank You Lord for Your loving kindness and tender mercies not only towards the lost but towards Your sons and daughters. Grant them strength to continue to stand for truth. Empower and embolden them to continue on to be Your hands and feet across the nation and the world. And in doing so bearing witness of the work You have done in us who were once lost but now found. Jesus I love You, please bless this day that we will rejoice and be glad in it. AMEN.

Zechariah 3:4

Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes."

I raise a hallelujah today Lord. Thank You for loving this and other wretched, poor and needy sinners. What a heavenly pleasing sound that must be echoing through the centuries. The voices of praise ringing through the halls of heaven moment by moment, day in and day out, month after month, year after year in thanksgiving for the salvation freely given.  In slight imagination only can I conceive of the endless joy of sinners coming home. Angels rejoicing continually throughout time. Breath taking I'm sure. The thought of it could cause me to burst because the goodness of it is ecstasy. Praise You Lord Jesus for not only taking away our sin-soiled garments but replacing them with the robe of righteousness. What can one say but bless the Lord oh my soul, thank You Jesus. Father send me today to share the good news, it so wonderful how can we not speak of it. I delight Father to bring glory to Your beautiful, merciful and gracious Son for His great sacrifice that is an eternal gift. Father open the ears of the lost to follow after the sound of the voice that calls come to Me all You who are burdened and I will give You rest. Again Lord I thank You for the cross, Amen.

Psalm 90:17

And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.

Heavenly Father, who is matchless in glory. May the beauty of Your pleasantness be upon Your sons and daughters. Grant us as You did Moses a sense of lasting meaning in life, something that will continue to the next generation.  May the demolishing of altar and smashing of idols clearing the way for the Your presence to have supremacy in and through us. It is a blessed life that desires to live quietly, work with our own hand and mind our own business. But what a challenge to most. Father grant us the wisdom to know were each of us is to be used to fight the battles of darkness that want to stomp out Your Light. Grant Your favor to Your children to persevere having victory in every combat. May Your faithful followers arise, shine with good purpose to glorifying of Your Son Jesus. May the good news of the gospel be shared with joy and thanksgiving to all those seeking for answers and willing to listen. Change the heart of stone to flesh, humble the wicked in our statehouse even removing their lampstands. Cleanse this nation from all our ungodliness. Father stop the killing of the preborn, the innocent shedding of blood. Turn the hearts of the evil ones agenda by bring haunting cries of the slaughter children ringing in their ears. May Your church arise, stand firm with great power to say no more and the wicked wither like dried up autumn leaves. Your mercy saves those who repent and seek forgiveness may they come to fall at Your beautiful feet in droves. Father pour Your love out like a warm blanket to wrap Your beloved family in to be protected from the cold harshness of cruel deeds, gross lies and malignant propagandas. Heal our land Lord by cleanses us from all our unrighteousness. In Your Precious name Jesus, Amen.

1 Timothy 4:1

Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirts and doctrines of demons...

God was manifested in the flesh, Justified by the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. Oh Father more frightening than a horror movie is the fate of those who depart from the faith.  Your precious Son Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The One received up in glory who is coming soon to judge the world. I cry out to You Father for mercy to call back the prodigals. Reveal to the departed the things they have be coerced to believe by deceiving spirts, restore them to sanity to cling to truth, the truth taught in Your holy scriptures. The truth that Jesus is ALIVE! He has RISEN! He is LORD and SAVIOR! Sharpen the dulled ears of Your creation to reject the doctrines of demons. Turn them away from occult practices and the thinking they are little gods. How dreadfully sad and truly exhausting to think and live that way. To be cut off from the One who give peace and joy wrapped in Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Jesus You are Lord of all. So Father please pour out the Holy Spirit to draw the lost to Your Son. For no great gift was given than the one Jesus gave to lay down His life to call us friend. Cover Your children today in the shadow of Your wing, shielding them from the evil works of the world. Strength them to stand for truth and be filled with thanksgiving as praise continue to fall from their lips. Bless Your children in amazing ways, continue to provide for their every need, bring comfort where they hurt and the healing of every disease. Be thou glorified and manifest in Your beloved body, Your church. May we continue to preach the good news.  I love You Lord Jesus, in Your name I pray, Amen.

Deuteronomy 18:10 &11

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or medium, or spiritualist, or one who calls up the dead.

To You Lord the one true and living God I bow my head and bend my knee for Your are King of the universe. There is none like You. Healing comes from Your hands that were once nailed to the cursed tree. So Lord why oh why is there still so much evil and the worship of that which is dead? Autumn is so lovely with its changing leaves, cooler air and pumpkin spice but it is visually marred by the outward reveal of the inner heart in the form of ghastly displays of darkness. How true Your words the time will come when they do not know how to blush and now is here. These pagan practices are an abomination to Your the giver and creator of life. In You there is no foul thing only purity and beauty. You alone are God. Foolishness abounds in those who think You do not see their deeds, the practice of conjuring up ways to manipulate the world around them with intent for selfish gain or the talking to dead saints who can not hear or respond instead of seeking You the only One who is able and gives good things to Your children. Father forgive them they know not what they are doing by bring death and deceptions upon their precious children under the gist of fun. Unveil the darken eyes to see the truth. Turn hearts of stone that are prideful and arrogant to hearts of flesh. Silence those who speak lies and lead people astray by making up tales of the future. Jesus I thank You and praise You for love that graciously poured forth from Your pierced side. Cleansing streams that wash us from all unrighteousness. You are magnificent, mighty and matchless in power and we need You to restore order from so much chaos. Father cover Your faithful children in the precious shed  blood of Your Son Jesus. By Your Spirit strengthen them to finish the work of evangelists, proclaiming the good news to the captives so they who once mocked and scoffed You may be free forever. You have promised whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Thank You for loving me and mine. May we love and honor You all our God given days. In the name above all names I pray and give thanks Jesus, Amen.

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Your only begotten Son Jesus with praise and adoration, for Your are mighty to save, protect and defend Your children. Your grace always amazes me. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadows You lead me beside still waters and restore my soul. Great is Your faithfulness. I have been young and now am older yet I have not seen the righteous left begging for bread. Your promise of never leaving or forsaken me brings comfort to my weary soul. Father there are so many heartbreaking things taking place these days, the list is long as You well know so please send Your blessed Holy Spirit to comfort Your children now. Those who grieve the losses of loved one, those preparing to let go of loved ones, those in difficult relationships and for those whose life's are in jeopardy be their strength as they look up to see their redemption draws nigh. Grant us by your grace to be steadfast, immovable and always abounding in Your work, knowing it is not in vain. Remind us death is swallowed up in victory and has no sting. May we not be afraid of terror by day nor arrow by night for we are covered in the precious blood of the Lamb who was slain and rose again. Thank You Jesus for upholding us with Your righteous right hand.  May our voices shout with glee for Your goodness. May You be glorified in and through all our challenges, struggles, hurts, disappointment and rejections. Thank You Father for hearing my prayers. I love You, Amen.

Galatians 5:13

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Heavenly Father strong are Your words of warning if we bite and devour one another watch out that we are not consumed by one another. You are the same yesterday as today and will be tomorrow as are Your words of wisdom.  Oh Lord help us not to repeat the errors of the past. Although we seemingly are on the same path that leads to destruction.  We petition You to pour out Your Holy Spirit so we may walk in love, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness and self control all with overwhelming joy to be a blessing to others. We desire the life only You Jesus can give. You have blessed us by washing us clean from all our sins and made a way for us to live free from bondage. May we honor You in all our words and deeds but not adding to the finished work of the cross. Your amazing grace is such a sweet, sweet sound to our ears so may our lips declare your mercy and share the love You freely gave. You have promised that whoever humbles himself like a child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Your loving sacrifice is our example. May these words be the meditation of our day. May they be changed by Your love. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Daniel 4:34

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him who lives forever.

To You Lord the great I AM, I lift my voice in adoration because You have seen my lowly estate and rescued me. The lifting of my eye to the heavens a small gesture to the Most High who rules, reigns and remains forever brought forth Your mercy and grace that redeemed me.  Father the nation is as what happened to King Nebuchadnezzar, we grew strong, were visible to the ends of the earth, our leaves beautiful and our fruit in abundance but our arrogance and pride are bringing about a great humbling. And I shutter to think our mockery of You and Your greatness is leading us into a place where we dwell with beasts and eat grass like an ox. Have mercy on us, restrain from cutting us down at the root. Your word said only that which is done for Christ will remain, so Father please bring to Your remembrance the good things we once did for Your glory. Jesus You hear our grumblings, our dissatisfactions, frustrations and animosities plus the stench of our sin that has reach the heavens. Forgive us Lord for it is Your Spirit that gives life, the flesh is no help at all. Your word brings forth life. May those who believe have the courage to stand in this evil hour as many have walked away. But remind us Lord of Simon Peters declaration when he said " Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed and have come to know, that You are the Holy One of God."  Lord please restore this nation to sanity by causing the lost to look to the heavens and declare You are the Most High. Cleanse us from all our unrighteousness so we may once again be a beacon of light, a city on the hill to bring hope to the nations. Redeem us. Restore us. Reign and rule over us so Your glory will be revealed. In Your matchless name Jesus we pray and give thanks, Amen.

Daniel 4:2&3

I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me.

How great are His signs, and how mighty His               wonders!
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His        dominion is from generation to generation.

My Lord and God who command the seas and holds their boarders. You are the only one worthy of all praise and honor. Great is Your faithfulness. May my declarations of Your goodness be from a pure and sincere heart for truly I believe You are Lord of all. I pray that by the power of Your Holy Spirit the words I speak will resound in the souls of the lost, hurting and broken that there is NO other gods beside YOU! Its is by Christ alone, faith alone that we are saved, not by works of man that no one may boast. Jesus, You have said "No one comes to the Father except through You." So I rejoice at Your greatest wonder, You were crucified died and rose again. You Lord have RISEN. Thank You for paying our ransom for the generations. Father I pray You will open the blind eyes to see the signs of the times we are living to know Jesus is coming soon for His bride. May You captivate the  souls of sinners to turn from the way that brings destruction putting their hope in Your beautiful Son Jesus the Savior.  May many have ears to hear His voice following after Him, for the sheep do hear His voice and will go where You lead. Silence the sound of the wicked one who want us to strive, add to or lean on their own understanding making You in their own image. May the flocks of the faithful believer be led by still waters and green pastures during these very challenging days. Grant the most timid of Your children a great boldness to declare Your signs and wonders. And may all we do and say bring glory to You. AMEN

John 5:44

How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

How great You are Lord, worthy of honor and praise. With a sincere heart we desire to obey You, not in the way of eye-service, as people pleasers but as those sincere to do Your will so You are glorified. Remind us Father daily of Your truth in this time when vanity rages, charm is deceitful and beauty is vain. For truly beautiful is the one who fears You Lord. How much time we waste with empty pursuits, vain imagination and desires for accolades from the world. By Your Spirit make us aware of the areas of our lives that draw us to pools of water that distorts our reflection to think we are more than we actually are. These thoughts are deceptions that keep us bound seeking recognition, acceptance and honor from others. Instead Lord we pray that You would be our focus. You raise up those who humble themselves as we can do nothing on our own. Jesus, You did not seek Your own will but the will of God the Father who sent You. Help us Lord to seek Your will to love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You daily. Then our lives will be full and satisfying so the glory of Your goodness with shine all around. Father great is Your faithfulness and You promise to see to completion the work that You have starting in each of Your children. So please Lord forgive us as we turn from our self promoting, people please ways and walk circumspectly with You the rest of our God given day.  We love You Jesus and thank You for Your precious blood that cleanses us from all our iniquities. In Your matchless name we pray and give thanks, amen.

Isaiah 56:1

Thus says the Lord: Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my righteousness be revealed.

Dear Heavenly Father, Worthy is Your Son who was slain to receive all of our adoration. There is none like Him, no not one so let us not boast in anything we do but humbly follow Him our living hope. Jesus reveal Yourself to all the world as the righteous King of kings and Lord of lords. We know the day will come when every knee shall bow and tongue will confess You are the Messiah and, in that hour, many will receive the judgement due them for their wicked deeds. Father by Your Holy Spirit save the sinner and set the captive free. Use us to proclaim the Good News Your alive and defeated death. Jesus You are the only way to heaven so may those who know You be used as vessels of honor to reveal this truth to the dying world around us. Lord we are sadden over the quickening of the darkness that looms over us. Many struggle to maintain the status quo while others choose to manipulate and deceive the world certainly both falling short of keeping justice and doing righteousness. Forgive us Lord for keeping silent as the evil befalls us. We pray for those in positions of authority whether governmental, educational or medical give them wisdom, humility, courage and strength to lead in ways that bring glory and honor to You. To carry out Your good and perfect will here on earth.  Father guide us back to the narrow way as we have folly long enough on the broad road which will cause sudden destruction.  Forgive us Lord God Almighty for designing You in our own image and selfish desires. We have mocked, spit and profaned all that You have created and said, "it is good".  We have erected false idols that are an abomination to Your Holiness. In Your greatness and supremacy, it would be right for you to smite us but Father we pray for Your mercy and grace to be poured out that we may turn from our ways and be transformed by the renewing of our minds.  Lord Jesus, we need You now more than ever, please hear our prayers and defend Your children. Avenge the blood of the preborn, martyrs and saints who have been slain, persecuted and tortured. Do justice Lord that is righteousness, that many don't understand because they call good evil and evil good. Cleanse and purify Your church Father so joy may abound more and more and holiness restored. We ask in Jesus matchless name, Amen.

Isaiah 55:8

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

Dear Lord God Almighty,

I thank You that Your ways are higher and Your thoughts are not our thoughts as we have made quiet a mess, all because of our wicked thoughts and deeds. I pray for Your peace and wisdom across this vast land, this nation that was once under You God. My how we have strayed and gone our own way. I so want to scream WAKE UP people! Fill your oil lamps and get ready. Forgive us Lord we are lost, have gone astray, trampling as we go all that You have called lovely, pure and holy . Turning to our own ways and have forgotten our first love, Jesus. You alone are our rock and redeemer and we desperately need You now.  I pray Father that You would bless Your chosen, Your children that You have called with wisdom and discernment for the hour we are living is truly challenging. Shelter us from all forms of evil and may it graciously pass over us. Bring us to Your Holy mountain for we are foreigners in a strange land. But we have joined ourselves to You Lord and we love and adore You for You are our mainstay, cup and portion. May we be found ministering to You as we sit at Your feet feeding on Your word. Even in this dark hour with confusion abounding may praise be continually on our lips as You remove all falsehood and lying and expose the truth to those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Father please once again be merciful to Your wonderous creation and may Your precious Son Jesus be glorified and lifted high. If we ever needed You certainly it is now.  By Your Holy Spirit cleanse and heal this land and its inhabitance. Purify our heart and minds so everlasting joy may be like rivers of water to make glad the world both near and afar. Jesus I love You and thank You for saving me please oh Lord God Almighty save this lost and dying world. In Your great name, Amen.
