Luke 15:20

And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

Oh, Holy Father, my heart leaps for joy when I think upon this verse. The greatness of Your compassion illustrated in the parable of the lost son, Your immediate acceptance of a sinner who turns to You for forgiveness overwhelms me with hope and joy. May we remember Your loving kindness and never take it for granted. Father, I pray for all the lost children to realize that we bring nothing to and deserve nothing from You, only that we need to rely completely on Your incredible mercy. Lord, I pray for the backsliding bride, may all return to You. Lord may Your grace touch us, and do not cause Your anger to fall upon Your children. As we acknowledge our iniquity, and our transgressions against You forgive us I pray. No more Lord shall we follow the dictates of our evil hearts. Oh, that we may call You Abba, Father and not turn away from Your loving embrace. Lord, I pray to not beautify my ways seeking love from an inferior source, only Your love I shall seek. Create in us Lord a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit with in us. Bless You Lord Jesus for not casting us away from Your presence and not taking Your Holy Spirit from us. Oh, Father that You would restore to us the joy of Your salvation and uphold us with Your generous Spirit. Lord, use us to teach other transgressors of Your wonderful ways, so sinners will be converted to You. May our tongues sing loudly of Your righteousness. O Lord open our lips and our mouths shall rejoice with praises to You our great King. Thank You Lord that You do not delight in sacrifice, or burnt offerings but in the humble, broken and contrite heart. Bless You Lord that these three things You do not despise. Lord may all Your sweet, precious sons and daughters take time out for selah and listen to Your word, rejoicing in Your goodness. It is by Your grace Lord Jesus, You have saved us not by works so none of us can boast. Bless You, Jesus Messiah. In Your holy name I pray, Amen.
