Proverbs 22:7

The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Most certainly there is wisdom in Your Word. Ah, and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Father, I am concerned for Your church, many have turned from the way that is right that leads to life that is abundantly rich with You. The worlds financial economies are on shaky ground and far to many are overextended in debt, which has caused them to be enslaved to the wicked task master of the creditor. Father, I pray for those who's financial houses are out of order, using there resources to serve and feed their own bellies, forgetting why they have been giving the blessings in the first place. Greed has over taken us. We repent of this now. Forgive those who have used their resources to live lavish lifestyle forgetting You bless, so as to be blessings to others. Forgive us for setting wrong priorities, lusting for more of material things rather then seeking our fill from You the One who satisfies. Forgive those who have foolishly gambled away, not preparing for the days ahead, and help them to return to a stead course. Father, so many lives are out of control, fixing their eyes on the bling and shine of things and they have not what is needed for basic necessities such as; food, housing costs, transportation or health care for themselves or their precious children. Oh, Lord how many have forgotten to seek You first and Your kingdom and all these things would be added unto them. Father, I pray all will turn and walk the narrow road that leads to life. Open the eyes of those who do not see their overspending is the way that leads to destruction before it is to late. Father, I pray we will be like the prudent man who sees danger and takes refuge, not be as the simple who keep going and pays the penalty. Father, may Your transforming power flow upon this nations to restore it to its call to be a beckon of hope and refuge to the world. Jesus we need You now, marantha. Amen.
