John 5:44

How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

How great You are Lord, worthy of honor and praise. With a sincere heart we desire to obey You, not in the way of eye-service, as people pleasers but as those sincere to do Your will so You are glorified. Remind us Father daily of Your truth in this time when vanity rages, charm is deceitful and beauty is vain. For truly beautiful is the one who fears You Lord. How much time we waste with empty pursuits, vain imagination and desires for accolades from the world. By Your Spirit make us aware of the areas of our lives that draw us to pools of water that distorts our reflection to think we are more than we actually are. These thoughts are deceptions that keep us bound seeking recognition, acceptance and honor from others. Instead Lord we pray that You would be our focus. You raise up those who humble themselves as we can do nothing on our own. Jesus, You did not seek Your own will but the will of God the Father who sent You. Help us Lord to seek Your will to love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You daily. Then our lives will be full and satisfying so the glory of Your goodness with shine all around. Father great is Your faithfulness and You promise to see to completion the work that You have starting in each of Your children. So please Lord forgive us as we turn from our self promoting, people please ways and walk circumspectly with You the rest of our God given day.  We love You Jesus and thank You for Your precious blood that cleanses us from all our iniquities. In Your matchless name we pray and give thanks, amen.

Isaiah 56:1

Thus says the Lord: Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my righteousness be revealed.

Dear Heavenly Father, Worthy is Your Son who was slain to receive all of our adoration. There is none like Him, no not one so let us not boast in anything we do but humbly follow Him our living hope. Jesus reveal Yourself to all the world as the righteous King of kings and Lord of lords. We know the day will come when every knee shall bow and tongue will confess You are the Messiah and, in that hour, many will receive the judgement due them for their wicked deeds. Father by Your Holy Spirit save the sinner and set the captive free. Use us to proclaim the Good News Your alive and defeated death. Jesus You are the only way to heaven so may those who know You be used as vessels of honor to reveal this truth to the dying world around us. Lord we are sadden over the quickening of the darkness that looms over us. Many struggle to maintain the status quo while others choose to manipulate and deceive the world certainly both falling short of keeping justice and doing righteousness. Forgive us Lord for keeping silent as the evil befalls us. We pray for those in positions of authority whether governmental, educational or medical give them wisdom, humility, courage and strength to lead in ways that bring glory and honor to You. To carry out Your good and perfect will here on earth.  Father guide us back to the narrow way as we have folly long enough on the broad road which will cause sudden destruction.  Forgive us Lord God Almighty for designing You in our own image and selfish desires. We have mocked, spit and profaned all that You have created and said, "it is good".  We have erected false idols that are an abomination to Your Holiness. In Your greatness and supremacy, it would be right for you to smite us but Father we pray for Your mercy and grace to be poured out that we may turn from our ways and be transformed by the renewing of our minds.  Lord Jesus, we need You now more than ever, please hear our prayers and defend Your children. Avenge the blood of the preborn, martyrs and saints who have been slain, persecuted and tortured. Do justice Lord that is righteousness, that many don't understand because they call good evil and evil good. Cleanse and purify Your church Father so joy may abound more and more and holiness restored. We ask in Jesus matchless name, Amen.

Isaiah 55:8

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

Dear Lord God Almighty,

I thank You that Your ways are higher and Your thoughts are not our thoughts as we have made quiet a mess, all because of our wicked thoughts and deeds. I pray for Your peace and wisdom across this vast land, this nation that was once under You God. My how we have strayed and gone our own way. I so want to scream WAKE UP people! Fill your oil lamps and get ready. Forgive us Lord we are lost, have gone astray, trampling as we go all that You have called lovely, pure and holy . Turning to our own ways and have forgotten our first love, Jesus. You alone are our rock and redeemer and we desperately need You now.  I pray Father that You would bless Your chosen, Your children that You have called with wisdom and discernment for the hour we are living is truly challenging. Shelter us from all forms of evil and may it graciously pass over us. Bring us to Your Holy mountain for we are foreigners in a strange land. But we have joined ourselves to You Lord and we love and adore You for You are our mainstay, cup and portion. May we be found ministering to You as we sit at Your feet feeding on Your word. Even in this dark hour with confusion abounding may praise be continually on our lips as You remove all falsehood and lying and expose the truth to those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Father please once again be merciful to Your wonderous creation and may Your precious Son Jesus be glorified and lifted high. If we ever needed You certainly it is now.  By Your Holy Spirit cleanse and heal this land and its inhabitance. Purify our heart and minds so everlasting joy may be like rivers of water to make glad the world both near and afar. Jesus I love You and thank You for saving me please oh Lord God Almighty save this lost and dying world. In Your great name, Amen.

John 19:41

Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.

Our Father in heaven, hollowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Blessed be Your name Jesus. In the beginning You created Adam and Eve. And in the garden where they walk with You in the cool of the day their pride caused them to sin. Bringing with it separation from You. Jesus You have said, "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if dies, it produces much grain". You lovingly created this world to be in a fellowship with it, and is still Your delight. So You lovingly bore our sins on the cross, yielding up Your precious life for mine, for all. They then laid You in a new tomb, where no death, decay or wickedness ever inhabited. Your beauty and deity never to dwell with corruption. As I look upon the small garden in my yard, I observe how the single seed goes into the dark ground and the come forth in the most vibrant of life, in all splendor. This is a sweet reminder of the glorious day You sprung forth to new life, being raised from the dead in victory. The only Son of the Father, like the seed, died to produce many sons and daughters. You Jesus forever alive, overcoming the grave and extending Your loving kindness and forgiveness to all who believe You are the Messiah. Forgive me Lord for my words are lacking in expressing the majestic wonder of You. I stand in awe. Sadly to some this truly remarkable miracle is nonsense but to those who believe and trust, it is life eternal. So I pray this morning Lord You would graciously open the eyes of the blind to see You for who You really are the King of king, Lord of lords, the great I Am, the Alpha and Omega, the Lion and the Lamb, the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Risen One, Emmanuel, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Branch and the Savior of the world. Thank You, for reconciling me to You. I love You Lord Jesus and may Your praise be forever on my lips. Amen.

Hosea 10:12

Sow for yourself righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Oh Father how depended I am on You. Your name is memorable, You are the Lord, God of hosts. By Your might Lord, return us to that which is right. To live in observance of mercy and justice. May we continually wait on You, Lord. Forgive us Lord and reestablish morality in this society as well as those around the world. May my voice be the like the one crying out in the wilderness for all to turn from their wicked ways and seek You with our whole hearts, for there is where we will find peace and rest. Father, please remind us that You alone are God Most High who will bring this troubled Nation to repentance so Your blessings will not be postponed, but be restored. Lord, may social justice, righteous, mercy and loyalty be what springs forth by the breaking up of the fallow ground in our hearts. Oh Lord that we would love mercy, do justly and walk humbly with You. Father, how I ache for those who have lost loved ones in all the recent brutal attacks, I pray You would send Your precious Holy Spirit to comfort them. Heal those who grieve Lord, Touching the wounds deep within so they may have joy again. Lord, I understand their lives will never be the same again, so I pray they will be able to have an extra measure of Your grace to forgive. Jesus shine Your Light into the darkness to expose all of it's depravity. Give us clean hand and a pure heart. Wash us Jesus in Your cleansing blood so we may live to be the peace makers. Blessed we will be to be called Your children. Lord Jesus in You we put our hope and trust knowing You are the Alpha and Omega. May Your name Jesus be lifted high. Come Lord Jesus come, have mercy on the wretched world. Amen.

Luke 3:11

He answered and said to them, "He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise."

May it be this day Lord Jesus that my testimony, my voice is the one that calls out in the wilderness of another's life. May every path be made straight, valley filled with Your amazing love and grace. May every mountain of sin and hill of doubt be brought low. May all crooked thinking and rough emotion be smoothed by your grace. Oh, Father that all flesh should see the salvation given through Your beautiful and faithful Son, Jesus Christ. The wilderness is a strange place to give a vineyard. And bitterness transformed into a door of hope. But You have given Your life so we may have it more abundantly. May we bear much fruit Lord, worthy of repentance. Who we are connected to in genealogy or who we know will not grant us favor with You, God. No amount of works will earn our way into Your loving heart. Ah, but the simple confession of our sin, the seeking of Your sweet forgiveness and the receiving of Your mercy is the divine creating us new. Father, I pray this morning to extend forgiveness to others, especially to those who have hurt me the most. The ones who do not seem worthy to receive such a gift. Oh that I should recall the day of old when I was just that one. Let me not hold onto two garments while one is in need to be warmed by love. May I not withhold food when others need the nourishment of truth. Freely You Jesus have given to me, so may I freely give to others by the power of Your Holy Spirit. I thank You Lord for the transforming of my mind, resulting in change of action towards those around me. May my deeds of this day bring about the gift of repentance, the blessing of salvation. For Your glory and honor Jesus. Amen.

Luke 1:45

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told to her from the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and praise. Your solid foundation stands having a seal. You Lord know those who are Yours so may everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. I thank You Lord that through repentance of my sins I have received an intimate relationship with You. So I thank You Lord for the gift of Your Holy Spirit living in me who tells the things to come. Father I believe You will fulfill all that You so lovingly promised. And I look forward with great excitement to see Your glory come forth and be made manifest. May my soul and the souls of my loved ones magnify You as we rejoice in You our God and Savior. I thank You Lord for when You come into someones life things are never the same but far greater. I thank You Lord for fighting and protecting me and all Your precious children. I thank You Lord Jesus for in You I have found rest and blessed assurance of your promises. Father, I pray for those who have yet to be transformed by Your mercy and grace, may today be the day it is fulfilled in there lives to be reborn. Blessed am I for I believe in You Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. I shall turn my eyes upon You Jesus and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of your glory and grace. Amen.
