Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also the interests of others.
Dear Holy Father,
May my eyes be opened to the areas of my life where I do things through selfish ambition. I pray to be free of conceit, the thinking I'm more important than I am. And lead me to live as You did esteeming other and serving them. May all my christian motivation be done by the power of the Holy Spirit, not out of selfish motivations. Guide me by Your Spirit to honestly assess the inner working of my emotions, thoughts and desires. Raising them to the standard of Your Word. The plumb line of truth, the measuring stick of intentions. Father, shut out the noises of this world that wishes to distract, fine tuning me hearing to Your still small voice that echos the personal needs of others. May I be quick to respond whether in word, deed or prayer, remembering it is for You my great God and King's glory. Jesus when I think on what You did when You stepped down from heaven to take human form, to teach, love and sacrifice for us, for me, I am overwhelmed, speechless, and humbled to my knees. Let me be like minded to You, comforting other in love, having fellowship with the broken, extended affection and mercy to the hurting. Father may Your Spirit draw Your children near to live like minded, having the same love from Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, not causing division or competition, but encouraging each other in Your ways that are higher and better. Father I pray for Your faithful servants around the world who are sincerely loving the outcasts, abandoned, frightened and homeless strengthen them by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within them. Quicken in their minds Your words of truth that have been written on their hearts. Father bless, bless and bless them some more in every way, exceeding ever need. May we continue to work together to lift Jesus high. Thank You for leaning Your ear to hear my prayers and the prayers of Your children. In Jesus perfect name, Amen.

Joshua 7:19
Now Joshua said to Achan, "My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the cross and thank You for the blood. Thank You for the beautiful and loving sacrifice of Your beloved Son. A love so powerful I can hardly grasp the magnitude. But this I do understand the grace and mercy that falls so sweetly and embraces me when I confess the thing I've done and do that offend You. I can come before You seeking forgiven for the times that I've been short tempered or impatience as a loved one struggles to grasp hold of Your free gift of salvation, and for the times I've withdrawn into myself because disappointment and discouragement has whisper lies into my ears. Father thank You for Your mercies that are unending and new every morning. Lord Jesus I confess my feelings of loneliness denying Your promise that You will never leave or forsake me. You are ever present, always a comfort and my dearest friend. Thank You for friends who willing speak boldly on Your behalf bringing correction and healing on Your wings. Bless them for their faithful devotion to You. Protect these precious children who have died to self to live fully for You. Lord I pray for all those who have not tasted of Your goodness for You truly are good. May they answer the plea to make their confession to You so they may be cleansed, and freed for all eternity. And may all glory be thrust upon You the only true God. Jesus Messiah I love You and thank You from all of me.
Amen.

Psalm 27:4
One thing I have desired of the Lord, That I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.
Heavenly Father there is one thing I desire and that it is to know Your beautiful Son Jesus more deeply. May I enter Your courts with thanksgiving and praise for I was a captive set free! So with each passing day my sight is more and more fix on eternity with You. Oh that I should dwell in Your house forever. Certainly Lord there are things I could desire in this world, but they are things that would war against the Spirit. And I do know that ultimately they will not satisfy. You Jesus are the only one who could quench my thirst. I will delight myself in You, for Your have promised when we delight ourselves in You, You grant us the desires of our heart. It is an unending, complete and forever circle of peace. Abiding in You and You abiding in me. Us delighting in each other! Thank You Lord that my eyes have become focused filled with wonder and contentment. Truly a gift from heaven. Thank You for an open heart that is overflowing with awestruck wonder of Your glory and presence all around me. I bless You Lord for Your kindness that led me to repentance which was the door in the valley of Achor. I shall call You my husband and I shall dance as in the days of my youth. Bless You Lord for hiding me in the secret place of Your tabernacle where I shall offer the sacrifice of joy and singing, yes singing praise to You. Amen

Romans 2:4
Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
Dear Jesus, oh that we should proclaim; You are the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth. You who keep mercy for the thousands, forgiving iniquity, transgression and sin. Forgive us Lord for the days we have despised the riches of Your goodness, forbearance and patience for it is exactly that which has draw us to repentance. It is inexcusable that we should judge others as in doing so we condemn ourselves. Your judgement is according to truth, works and according to the light one has of the law. Father in the day when You judge the secrets of men and women may I be found under the covering of Your Only Son Jesus. Whom You have set forth as propitiation by His blood. Thank You Jesus that by Your grace we are saved through faith in You! Remembering that is not of ourselves but a wonderful and beautiful gift that we shall treasure for all eternity. Forgive us for the times we have boasted in ourselves. We have been created by You to do the good works You have prepared for us beforehand; through the telling to others about You, sharing Your love, and living as examples of Your amazing grace and mercy. Father fill us with Your Holy Spirit to no longer walk in the futility of our minds, putting off our former conduct, because we are renewed in the spirit of our mind being transformed by Your every word of truth. Thank You Jesus for the snowy white robe of Your righteousness. Thank Your for washing us clean when we repent of our disobedience. Forgiving us when we have not honored Your will and ways. Father we thank You for Your Spirit that compels us, Your beloved children to be kind to others, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as Christ has so lovingly forgiven us. May our lives be a mirror reflection of Your perfection. May the world around us see less of us and more of YOU! With love and gratitude Jesus I give You thanks and praise. Amen.

Haggai 1:7
Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Consider your ways!"
Lord Jesus, as I consider my ways; in the caring for my health, finances, family and friends, I can see where somethings have fallen into gentle ruin. The not so obvious effects of neglect. Forgive me for procrastinating in keeping in touch with the people You so lovingly placed in my life. Forgive me for deserting the routine that aided in keeping my body in more optimal health. Forgive me for not taking more time for planning and adhering to wise saving and spending. May this be the day Lord to start a new with a willing heart to restructure, rebuild and repair the deserted areas of life. Places that need a scrubbing, refreshing and in some aspects total renovation. May the removal of the remaining debris of doubt, fear, disappointment and discouragement be hauled away. Jesus replace the frustrations with a revived sense of hope, excitement, and joy. May all glory be Yours as Your Spirit does a mighty of act moving the heaps of excuse such as; not now Lord, I'm too busy, or too tired or I can't, replacing them with yes Lord, not my will but Yours be done in and through me. Oh, Lord that You would take pleasure in me and be glorified! I pray to be obedient to Your voice. Forgive me for the times I've debated, delayed or was disobedient to Your commands. Lord Jesus help me to accomplish all that You have prepared for me to do. Resting in Your truth as written in Your holy word "I am with You." So I pray for Your beloved children and myself included that we would fear not, but carrying on doing all good works in Your name. May this new season be one of great and deep healing, love and devotion and may Your glorious Light shine forth in the darkness as refurbishing begins. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Zephaniah 3:17
"The Lord God is in your midst. The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quite you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
Lord I stand in awe of You. There is only goodness, holiness, and purity in You. No evil or wickedness as some would want us to believe. Your unending kindness leads us to repentance. Oh, that I am glad and rejoice with all my heart, humbled that You are in my midst. You, the God and creator of the entire universe, all that was and yet to be. Nevertheless You rejoice over Your children with gladness. How great are Your thoughts to me Oh God, so great I can scarcely take it in. I'm grateful for how Your amazing love quiets and stills my anxious thoughts. It's a tremendous gift to receive, the great weight of it causes me to surrender all that I had previously held so dear. Casting off the lies of the evil one, who steals and destroys the hope, joy and peace You so tenderly pour out. Father, I am overwhelmed by the thought of You rejoicing over me with singing. When I recall the days gone by of me singing sweet lullabies, and uttering gentle words over my newborn baby, I'm humbled to even dare to imagine Your sweetness over me, a poor sinner. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your incredible love, though I search my mind to put my gratitude into words, they all fall short. The best I can say is thank You, and I love You back with all that is within my simply human and frail heart. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:16
Rejoice always
Dear Heavenly Father,
I can rejoice always because You are a sovereign ruler who always accomplishes Your will. Father I rejoice because my joy does not depend on my circumstances but on my growing awareness and closeness to You. I rejoice because my eternity is secure in Your Son Christ Jesus. I rejoice because You grant me patience in tribulation, in needs and in distress, in labors and in sleeplessness by the power of Your Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word of truth, by Your awesome power. Even though there are sorrows in this life may I always be found rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. For You Lord have heard me, and in the day of salvation You have helped me. Father I pray for those who have not yet opened their hearts to You, may today be the day of their salvation, not running away from Your mercy and grace but running into Your loving embrace. May they taste and see You are good. I thank You Lord for the knowledge that in heaven their is continually rejoicing as sinners come home. What a great and glorious image of the angels rejoicing continually as You daily add names to the Lambs book of life. The place of indelible ink where they will not be erased, but are set in the promise they/we will live for all eternity in Your presence. Bless You sweet Jesus for Your awesome love that is grace upon grace. In Your precious name I give thanks and praise, Amen.
