Lamentations 3:22

Through the LORD'S mercies we are not consumed, because His compassion fail not.

Even LORD in Your wrath You remember to be merciful. Your steadfast love never ceases. Your mercies never end. Your mercy goes a second mile and replaces judgement with restoration. Thank You Jesus through Your sacrifice You have made a way to be reconciled back to the Father. When one turns to You the veil is removed. You are the Spirit and where Your Spirit is there is freedom. We all with unveiled faces behold Your glory and are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. There is one gift we do not have, the gift (authority) to save. You took Peter, James and John leading them up on a high mountain and were transfigured before them. Your face shone like the sun and Your clothes became as white light. Only by Your Spirit may it be revealed who You are the great I AM, the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Jesus You are the beloved Son in whom the Father is well pleased. I thank You for Your touch in my life and the instruction to arise and not be afraid. I thank You for opening my eye to gaze upon You with awe wonder, so I ask that with Your compassionate mercy that never fails to open the eyes of those I love who have not yet seen You are the Lord, maker of heaven and earth and our blessed Redeemer. Amen.

John 18:40

Then they all cried again, saying, "Not this Man, but Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a robber.

Heavenly and Holy Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers who glorified Your Servant Son Jesus. He was delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. They denied You the Holy One and the Just and asked for a murder to be granted and then killed You Jesus the Prince of life whom God raised from the dead. Oh, what that day must have been like. Father, I ponder and pridefully think I would never have shouted crucify Him, crucify Him but when I was married to my sin and delighting in my ways, with a mind seared and bent on worldly idols I most likely would have. I have a disdain when I look back at who I was and am filled with overwhelming gratitude for Your loving sacrifice that has transformed me and given me life. Father as I meditate on the cross, I ask for a deeper understanding of the amazing love Jesus had for me and mine. I ask for You would open the minds and hearts of my lost loved ones and draw them to Your pierced side where blood and water gushed out in cleansing streams and the breath of life. Lord thank You for laying down Your life so in You I may live and move and have my being. May all glory and honor be given You Jesus now and forever more, Amen.

John 13:3

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God...

Dear Heavenly Father, You have crowned Jesus with glory and honor. It's remarkable Your Son the King of kings and Lord of lord would humble Himself to wash the feet of the disciples. As You well know we are living is such a self-absorb culture where the climate is me, myself and I. A time where even a good deed is for self-recognition. Most people only giving to get something in return BUT not Jesus, freely He gave, so I desire to follow Him and freely give. Not only out of my provisions but to be loving, forgiving and kind without expectation of reciprocation. It would be a lie Father to say I live this way daily. When there are times, I mumble and grumble when my loved ones have a need, how could I even say I'm kind to a stranger. Forgive me Lord and wash me clean. I understand when Peter said "Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!" I'm so grateful for Your cleansing me. I recognize that just walking the dusty road of life calls for daily confession. Father, forgive me for not girding up the loins of my mind and allow bitterness, jealousy and anger take hold. Although Your Holy Spirit restrains me from acting on these emotions, I know You know they are in the harbor of my heart. Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart. Lord, I want to be like Jesus, in my heart, in my heart. And Lord I want to be more holy in my heart, in my heart. Oh, I want to be like Jesus. All glory be to Him who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen

Matthew 26:56

"...But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.

Father this is so challenging to understand but You see all things and know all things. Jesus said to the disciples ALL of them would be made to stumble because of what He would endure. The striking of the Shephard causes the sheep to scatter. This makes me to tremble and to ask that You hold me fast and firm in Your righteous right hand. I pray to walk with You day by day. Not thinking on the yesterdays or worrying about the tomorrow for today has enough troubles of its own. Father, I ask that Jesus pray for me, that when life sifts me as wheat, I would not faulter, forsake You and flee. For where does my help come from? You Lord the maker of heaven and earth. You are my ever-present help in time of need, thank You. Lord, I desire to be Your ambassador, surrendering my life fully to You the One who saved me. May I implore many on Your behalf to be reconciled back to You. I thank You that Your mercy is new everyday. May I ever be mindful You are the God who fathered me. Your loving kindness endure forever. Great is Your faithfulness and with a song in my heart I will sing of Your love forever. Amen.

Hebrews 5:8

...though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

You Lord Jesus being found in the appearance as a man, You humbled Yourself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. You have the name above all names, and every knee shall bow and confess You are Christ the Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Lord, I know that with somethings I live in obedience but struggle with surrendering control of other things. I desire for this manner of living to come to an end and honor You with all of me. Jesus, You experienced all of what a person goes through on earth and understand how difficult it is to obey but You did it completely and perfectly. Please Lord be my shield and strong tower as You understand the attraction of temptation and in this life, there are many. It seems as we master one type there is another lurking around the corner or the same one keeps coming back. Help me Lord to be more than an overcomer but a co-conqueror with You. Your persistence in obedience is admirable as You lived a sinless life. I thank You for being my Shepherd and leading me to green pastures and still waters. May I learn and master the lessons that this affliction has to teach me. By Your Spirit may I watch and pray as the enemy roams around seeking whom to devour. I have asked many times for You to remove/heal this chronic illness but have come to understand Your grace is sufficient, Your power made perfect in my weakness. I need courage to continue to make necessary changes to adapt to the restrictions it has placed on my life. To live well within the boundaries and continue to flourish. Father, I ask that You bless Your children to flourish as well in whatever challenges they may be facing or enduring. May peace be upon Your church. Amen.

Matthew 21:11

So the multitudes said, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee."

Lord God Almighty, I believe someone really special came from Nazareth. You have asked "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" The responds were John the Baptist, Elijah while others said Jeremiah or one of the prophets. But Lord I say, "You are the Christ, Son of the living God, Messiah." I thank You Holy Spirit for revealing this to me. I pray You will continue to reveal this truth to those around me. Jesus, You speak truth always never proclaiming a lie. Yet there are many who presume to speak a word in Your name which You have not commanded them to speak or speak in the name of other gods. Your holy word says they shall die. This should cause many to tremble as it does in me. Father put a guard over my mouth. As I yield to Your Spirit keep me from uttering a false word. When someone speaks a word presumptuously, I shall not be afraid of them as You are with me, granting me discernment. There are wars and rumors of wars, and prophets all over the internet speaking all kinds of predictions but this I know for sure, one day soon Jesus You will return for Your bride. I pray to have my lamp ready and filled like one of the five virgins, to finish the work of an evangelist sharing the gospel of peace wherever my feet may tread. I pray Lord for those who have been toying and flirting with disaster, pridefully proclaiming "Thus say the Lord" when it is a false spirit whispering in their ears. May You be gracious and merciful calling them to repentance. To walk humbly with You and not live for the accolades of men. Father, I desire to follow Jesus and need Your Spirit to keep me on the narrow road. As I wave my palms in remembrance and devotion to You dear Jesus having made Your triumphal entry into my life, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for Your saving grace. I love You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Mark 14:61

But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again, the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?"

Heavenly Father as I bring before You the prodigals, the unbelievers and the lost I'm so thankful that Jesus is not absent but silently waiting for all the questioning, accusing, mocking and forsaking to quiet in their heart and then He will reveal Himself as Your blessed Son, the Savior. I thank You for taking out the hearts of stone and giving hearts of flesh. Redeemer of the lost. I thank You they will taste and see Jesus is good, true and the way to everlasting life. I thank You for a refreshing today from the long wait. I thank You for renewing me to mount on wing of eagle to soar with You above the storms. I thank You Lord for Your perfect peace so I may say it is well, it is well with my soul. Jesus has overcome and the grave is overwhelmed, You are alive. No need to know more but rejoicing You are coming again in clouds of glory and the dead will rise singing and the angels sing "Worthy is the Lamb!" I love You Lord and believe You are the Christ the Son of the Blessed. Amen.
