1 Corinthians 5:7

Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened.

Dear Jesus, the Christ who is our Passover Lamb, You who sacrificed for us. So that we may live not with the old leaven of sin that comes in the form of malice and wickedness. Not returning evil for evil, not being vicious to those who have harmed us in anyway, but remembering above all, to love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. May we live by Your outstanding example. Oh Father that we should be fervent in charity towards each other. Using the gift of hospitality to minister to others as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Father I pray that if any of us speak let it be as oracles of You, glorifying Your beautiful Son Jesus, or let us not speak at all. For it is difficult to bridal ones tongue, but a true blessing when we do. May our lips only sing praises to You, who has dominion forever and ever. May we be new lumps of love as my dear old neighbor used to say. Lord examine my heart, see if there is any wicked way in me. The thought of even having even a tiny pinch of leaven in me spreading throughout my entire spirit contaminating that which You so mercifully have cleansed, grieves me. Father let each of us repent of the things in our lives that pollute Your church. One of us may be guilty of sexual immorality, but the congregation sits in guilt of ignoring the man's disobedience in failing to hold them accountable. Forgive us Lord, and grant us the word to speak in truth, love and tenderness to restore the brethren to You. Jesus we need You, and our hearts desire is to honor You in all areas of our lives. Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit to lead, guide and use us to bring glory to You our great God and King. In Your name Jesus, the name above all names, Amen.
