2 Kings 12:2

Jehoash did what was right in the sight of the Lord all the days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

Dear Heavenly Father,
May we hold fast to our confession that Jesus Christ is our great High Priest forever. He is the one who can sympathize with our weakness, as He was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. So by the power of the Holy Spirit may we Father fulfill the royal law according to Your word, not just loving our neighbor as ourselves, which is well enough, not showing partiality to those who have outward appearance that are pleasing, such as; fine apparel and gold rings but turning our attention and notice the poor and the needy in out midst. Father I pray for a heart like Jehoash that compels me to do what is right in Your sight and live as Jesus did. For He is the ultimate example of unselfish, humble, pure and holy love for others. Father may we rise up to restore the breach we have committed in Your house. Forgive us for the sins of judgement, murmuring, complaining and casting aside those who we have deem unworthy to be in Your presence including ourselves. May we put aside all idols of self righteousness, entitlement, and haughtiness and purpose in our hearts to bring good treasures into Your house in the forms of thanksgiving, praise and adoration for all that You have so loving giving. Father grant us by conviction so we may be determined to wash the feet of our brothers and sister whom we have discard, rejected and even loathed. Forgive us Lord for the hardness of our hearts that has brought destruction to Your Holy Temple. Jesus, forgive me for neglecting my body, which is the temple of Your Holy Spirit and now has fallen in to disrepair. Help me to be tenderhearted to my own needs, that of which are healthy and highly nutritional foods, proper rest and exercise. Let them be an offering acceptable in Your sight, with out spot or blemish, strengthening and fortifying me from within so I may be as a river whose stream shall make glad the city of God. The Holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. Truly, Lord You are in the midst of me and I shall not be moved. I believe Lord that You shall help me to be as a priest repairing the damage done to Your beautiful body and Your beloved church. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
