Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

Heavenly Father as wars rage, conflict ensue, natural disasters rise, calamity and sickness abound, and hate continues to plague the heart of many it can be quite challenging to endure. As I meditate on Your word and Your instruction, I can only think of one thing which isn't at all a thing but a person, the person of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, Your precious and beautiful Son. He is truth, noble and just. Jesus is pure and lovely and has so many good reports they could fill a library and still there would be more. He is virtuous and praiseworthy, there is none other. So today and all the days after I shall meditate on His love, grace, mercy and kindness, fixing my gaze on His wonder so the things of the earth will grow dim. Jesus outshines even the darkest hours. I pray for Your church Father to have peace as they remember Your goodness and are spurred on to endure and finish the race set before them. May You bless Your children to see Your glory in every situation and circumstance, to bear witness of the truth Jesus is the Messiah and there is no other. Father thank You for giving us Your Son and leaving Your Spirit till our work on earth is done. I thank You for the blessed assurance, Jesus is mine oh what a for taste of glory divine. Hallelujah, Amen.
